05/05/2025: I went with my husband to this very well furnished place. We had been given a voucher and decided to take a vegetarian menu and a fish menu. Each dish was presented to us with care. The portions are adequate to be able to enjoy the entire menu on offer. The staff is friendly and the environment is relaxing. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy good food in relaxation.

29/05/2025: Le lieu charmant de ce restaurant vous accueillera parfaitement. Que vous recherchiez un restaurant typique ou un restaurant où bien manger, vous serez comblé. Chaque plat est préparé avec des produits frais, ne soyez pas effrayé de tout goutter. Si vous êtes perdu, n’hésitez à demander conseil aux serveurs pour le meilleur plat ou meilleur vin pour accompagner vos moules crues. Vous pouvez demander une bonne adresse (comme vignoble à visiter ou évènement dans la région) pour prolonger le séjour. Avant de partir, faites un petit tour dans leur jardin où vous trouverez les plus beaux basiliques.

26/04/2025: Despite the kindness of the dining room staff, the experience in the restaurant of this 5-star hotel was nothing short of shocking. The quality of ingredients and preparation is scandalously low: farmed fish and many pre-cooked and frozen dishes. But the peak was reached when they served us a second course of chicken completely covered in plastic, which we even ate! We found ourselves ingesting plastic, a carcinogenic and harmful substance. The waiter's apologies and the dish not being charged to the bill do not erase the seriousness of such an episode. The absence of an intervention and an apology from the chef directly in the room was a further demonstration of a lack of professionalism in the face of such an unprecedented event. To be absolutely avoided until the chef has changed and everything has been redone from scratch.

25/04/2025: Nonostante la gentilezza del personale di sala, l'esperienza nel ristorante di questo hotel 5 stelle è stata a dir poco scioccante. La qualità degli ingredienti e della preparazione è scandalosamente bassa: solo pesce d'allevamento e molti piatti precotti e congelati. Ma l'apice è stato raggiunto quando ci hanno servito un secondo di pollo completamente ricoperto di plastica, che abbiamo persino mangiato! Ci siamo trovati a ingerire plastica, una sostanza cancerogena e nociva. Le scuse del cameriere e il piatto non addebitato sul conto non cancellano la gravità di un simile episodio. L'assenza di un intervento e di scuse da parte dello chef in persona direttamente in sala è stata un'ulteriore dimostrazione di mancanza di professionalità di fronte a un fatto così inaudito. Sarebbe il caso di fare un reset e ripartire da zero con un nuovo chef.

18/06/2025: Sono stato all’Alexander di Ravenna un sabato sera, alla ricerca di una location particolare… e l’ho trovata! Il ristorante si trova in un luogo davvero insolito e suggestivo: un’ex chiesa, poi diventata cinema a luci rosse, oggi trasformata in un ristorante elegante e dall’atmosfera unica. Ho scelto il menù degustazione di pesce (58 €) e sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. Ogni piatto è stato curato nei dettagli, con sapori decisi e ben armonizzati. Le capesante crude, servite in modo creativo, sono state eccezionali. Ottimo anche il dessert, davvero piacevole. L’unico piatto leggermente sotto le aspettative è stato il tagliolino all’astice, dove l’astice era un po’ coperto da altri sapori più intensi, ma nel complesso tutto è stato di alto livello. Servizio attento, cortese e veloce, senza mai risultare invadente. Tornerò sicuramente per provare il menù di carne. Un’esperienza da consigliare sia per la cucina che per l’atmosfera!

14/05/2025: Il locale è situato in una posizione strategica, nel centro di Somma e con una splendida vista sul Castello Visconteo. Siamo rimasti favorevolmente sorpresi dal menù, molto elaborato e ricco di proposte in grado di soddisfare tutti i palati. Il personale è gentile e attento senza però risultare invadente, nel complesso un'ottima esperienza!

14/05/2025: The restaurant is located in a strategic position, in the center of Somma and with a splendid view of the Castello Visconteo. We were pleasantly surprised by the menu, very elaborate and full of proposals able to satisfy all palates. The staff is kind and attentive without being intrusive, overall a great experience!

The service was not particularly fast and there were slightly too long waiting times even when the place was not full The dishes are good, average but poor A tagliata based on three slices of meat with 3 grilled vegetables is really not much. And in fact the quality/price ratio is too high It's a shame because the place is very nice

21/05/2025: We booked this place for my birthday lunch a few weeks ago. Everything was followed to perfection, down to the smallest details, from the selection of the menu to the choice of the room. The precise and attentive service of all the staff, the delicious dishes prepared with excellent quality ingredients, the risotto was fantastic and also the grilled meat. My guests were all enthusiastic. Congratulations and thanks again!

10/06/2025: All very good I would say of a superior level if you think of a place with hundreds of seats, maintaining a high level is not a given. Took the tasting menu that includes appetizers two first courses and two second courses. Good service and fair bill for what we ate.. Recommended

11/06/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante ieri sera ed è stata una splendida cena abbiamo mangiato benissimo e siamo stati accolti con gentilezza e simpatia. Silvia è una ragazza stupenda la recensione sotto non è neanche da valutare perché uno non può pretendere di trovare posto a Gallipoli prenotando mezz'ora prima e per di più alle 22 c'erano già tavoli vuoti ed è arrivata altra gente a mangiare. Bisogna portare rispetto per la gente che lavora bene. Ci sono rimasto male io x Silvia a leggere la recensione sotto. Detto questo se siete a Gallipoli andate a Santa Monaca verrete coccolati dall'inizio alla fine.

10/06/2025: È un ristorante molto carino vista mare. Ha un gazebo dove potere pranzare e cenare che protegge sia dal sole che dall'umidità. Silvia è una persona squisita. È molto preparata e ama il suo lavoro. Lo chef è uscito a salutarci e gli abbiamo fatto i complimenti per il buonissimo antipasto e per i tagliolini allo scorfano preparati al momento. Abbiamo potuto vedere e scegliere il nostro pesce. La cantina è ben fornita. Torneremo presto ad assaggiare altre prelibatezze insieme ad amici.

06/06/2025: Ero curioso di provare un ristorante veg e devo dire che mi sono trovato molto bene, tanto da esserci tornato pochi giorni dopo. A pranzo c'è un menu del giorno ma si può anche scegliere dalla carta. Una buona scelta di piatti, anche un carnivoro ne può uscire sazio. Il locale è molto carino e il servizio è ottimo. Prezzi nella media, merita una visita.
