10/10/2024: The restaurant is neither particularly fancy nor particularly large. It lives from the people who work here and do everything they can to offer their guests the perfect stay. We were there several times, the door was opened and you just felt comfortable. Whether pizza or pasta, simply perfect. As always in Italy, only the house wine. The dessert was also first class. Yes, it is remote in Pai, but the journey is worth it. We have been traveling in Italy for 10 years, but this was definitely an experience.

21/02/2025: Very nice place, quiet, very kind staff that makes you feel in a family environment and can give you the best advice, the food is presented wonderfully but above all it is super delicious, a restaurant to return to and recommend to everyone

10/02/2025: Chopping board with good local products. For the rest everything is based on rice, from appetizers to desserts. Generous portions. All very good and fair prices. Very nice place, shame about the presence of various TVs on which films of the farm were filmed, personally I found them superfluous to say the least, but that's just a flaw.

01/02/2025: I was there for the first time, the girl at the reception was very kind and friendly, the room was nice, the price was reasonable, and if you register you have the possibility of getting a 10% discount on both the relais and the restaurant next door. Only one statement my room door didn't lock, but stuck in the middle. To be rounded off

23/01/2025: We stopped here after visiting the site of the Earth Pyramids of Segonzano. Really nice place, friendly and fast service. We had a really good and plentiful polenta with speck and gorgonzola for two, chips and beer. Fair prices. Highly recommended!!!

05/10/2024: In summer it is always a pleasure to leave the heat of the city to go to dinner or an aperitif. Good meat, helpful staff and a quiet, outdoor setting at the foot of the Segonzano pyramids with ample parking. Now they only open on weekends. Also convenient in summer for dining with friends. No need to book. I always come back willingly. Worth discovering for those who don't know it.

12/12/2024: Excellent food, generous portions, courtesy and top cleanliness. We felt right at home. Very good price. €40 for starter, 2 first courses (plus another first course for a lactose intolerant person), 2 second courses, dessert, cantucci and liqueurs of your choice.

07/01/2025: Even though I'm from the area I had never gone to them. I found a very familiar environment, kind and calm, you feel at home being with the gentleman who makes your sandwiches. Porchetta butter really melts in your mouth, top homemade breads we will see you again soon it was a pleasure coming to you I will definitely be back thank you

05/11/2024: Sarebbe sufficiente dire eccellente al 100% ma Trip Advisor vuole almeno 200 caratteri quindi vi dirò che la stella Michelen è ampiamente meritata: un servizio di primordine, personale gentilissimo e cordiale, locale elegante e d’atmosfera, ti senti a tuo agio, ti viziano e ti coccolano con mille chicche deliziose, abbiamo mangiato da dio e non abbiamo certo patito la fame come capita a volte in certi ristoranti pretenziosi, io ho scelto piatti legati al territorio che erano davvero eccezionali, lo Chef molto cordiale a fine cena si è intrattenuto con noi spiegandoci tante cose interessanti, spero davvero di tornarci presto, lo consiglio vivamente a chi sa apprezzare la cucina di alta qualità e vuole passare un paio d’ore piacevolissime.

I decided to stop for a quick lunch and, despite my arrival just before 2pm, I was received with a warm smile which immediately improved the experience. I recommend this place to anyone looking for great quality and friendliness. Price appropriate to the proposal.

16/02/2025: Refined but not snobbish, an excellent location for a quiet, high-quality dinner. Excellent risotto, pork fillet even more so. Attentive and not overly formal staff. Cost including wine (bottle) of around 70. I highly recommend.

12/02/2025: Excellent quality food with explanation of the ingredients of the composition, appetizers, excellent first courses, dessert of the day. Top kitchen team and dining room attendant. I recommend it.

19/01/2025: The place inside is very nice, a comfortable and well-kept environment. Wide choice on the menu between sea and land dishes. We tried the cod in chickpea cream, parmigiana ravioli with octopus ragout, aubergine conchiglioni with ricotta and mint on saffron sauce and curry-breaded grouper escalope on celeriac cream. All really delicious. When we passed them in the room we couldn't resist the dessert and so we tried the lemon cake tart, very good and fresh. The wait staff was very friendly and professional at the same time. Prices in line with the quality of the offer.

19/01/2025: Everything of the highest level: cuisine, staff, hospitality, venue. I come back every time with pleasure and it's a guarantee especially when you want to make an excellent impression with friends and relatives. I recommend it very much!

09/02/2025: I arrived in this restaurant by chance, or rather I was oriented towards another safe place in Genoa, Zefferino, but evidently fate loved me. I can safely say and without offending anyone that the Sangiorgio restaurant is the best restaurant in Genoa and among the 5 best I have ever been to. Refined cuisine without ever exceeding. Excellent service. Staff always smiling and very kind and never invasive. We took advice and took a dish off the menu, Catalan lobster and it was an excellent choice. Always on their advice we also tasted their Perle al pesto, really delicious. For dessert we had a delicious chocolate soufflé. As a final, very welcome surprise, they brought us two small hot donuts with other delicacies attached. I forgot how much wine we started with an aperitif, a high quality extra brut sparkling wine, surprising even if I prefer Franciacorta. Instead we opted for the whole dinner, the Cabochon nature of Monte rossa, amazing as always. Account in line with expectations. On special occasions I always look for experiences that excite me and that's what happened. Highly recommended, it's not for everyone but that's right, perfection costs money. I will definitely return.
