16/09/2025: We visited this restaurant in August, during a vacation with our two-month-old baby. We were immediately greeted kindly by the owner, and a slightly secluded table was reserved for us outside so we could be more comfortable with our baby (though the restaurant isn't noisy, with outdoor tables in a very quiet square).
The setting is charming, with the outdoor tables surrounded by centuries-old trees with very unique shapes.
We tried the house antipasto and the tagliolini with truffle, both excellent.

30/08/2025: If you go to Porto Empedocle I highly recommend the Lido Fico d'India... fantastic sea view and exceptional quality of food... everything fresh... fair prices but above all the kindness and politeness of the staff who are at your disposal for anything... especially special Mr. "Franco" welcoming and always smiling... congratulations.

06/09/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant surrounded by nature. We were pleasantly surprised by the food, the large space where you can walk and connect with nature and animals, and the impeccable cleanliness. Recommended.

The prices were like those of a city restaurant.

28/05/2025: Even though it is a place a little out of this world, it doesn't need advertising because on any Tuesday in May I was there it was practically full, and it is not that small. In any case, it is a real restaurant that at lunchtime weekly has a fixed menu like a trattoria (complete at 13 euros in May 2025), a wide and good choice of dishes, right portions and restaurant quality, decent bulk wine but for those who want to spend a little more there is a nice choice of bottles of local wines (Ovada doc area).
