Beautiful place, truly excellent food, and friendly, helpful staff. The lamb ribs deserve a special mention because they were incredibly good. Congratulations because, despite a mistake—which, of course, can happen, but which significantly ruined the evening (a cake ordered and then not made)—they managed to salvage what could be saved by making a dessert in 8 minutes. Well done.

I celebrated our wedding of nearly 150 people at the Afazenda restaurant. If I could give it a perfect score, I would. Cristian listened to us, welcomed us, and was able to accommodate all our requests, even offering suggestions and advice. He didn't make us schedule 20,000 appointments for planning, but rather a few quick and precise meetings. The food during the ceremony was excellent. There were no delays or empty moments. The risotto was al dente and met all our guests' expectations. The wine was at the right temperature and always on the tables. We were unfortunate enough to have a tornado blow before dinner began, just as our guests were arriving: the staff managed to work their magic, moving all the tables inside the restaurant, vacuuming leaves and water from the garden, and then resuming the buffet outside once the storm had passed. The staff is polite, friendly (but not overly so), and knowledgeable. The setting is meticulously designed, and nothing was out of place. Our guests included vegans, celiacs, and pregnant women, and I had no problem with the kitchen catering to these menu differences. I can only recommend, speak highly of, and spread the word because this family and their entire staff work at a level rarely seen. Congratulations and thank you again for how you managed our special day. You made it even more memorable. Giulia and Riccardo
