27/05/2025: Wonderful place to unplug. Friendly and helpful staff, they even helped me get some clothes I forgot in the room very quickly! Highly recommended restaurant, both for the friendliness of the chef and for the dishes that have nothing to envy of a starred restaurant. Small SPA, but suitable for a couple. Spacious and well-kept rooms, even if a little old-fashioned.

24/05/2025: Have you ever slept in a castle? I have, for two weeks. This is the best I could aspire to in the area, I felt like a king, silence, nature, enchanting garden and rooms so clean that I could lick the floor. Spoiler: I have never licked the floor, but at breakfast I gorged myself on fresh fruit, homemade cakes, delicious yogurts chatting pleasantly with the staff.

20/05/2025: We were on an AmaWaterways land tour to Lake Como and our lunch was on our own so we walked a few meters from the Hilton Lake Como to eat a light lunch. We were greeted by a very nice gentleman and told we could sit and enjoy lunch even though they closed in 15 minutes for their mid-afternoon siesta time. Then the owner, Jacob came over to take our order and make recommendations regarding seasonal vegetables. He was so pleasant, made great recommendations and made our lunch fantastic! We had the spicy pizza and a focaccia sandwich that was amazing. Thanks Jacob for your great personality, kindness and hospitality. I’m sure your father would be proud! 20/05/2025: Ho festeggiato il mio compleanno al Duca, un compleanno importante con ospiti dai 4 agli 80 anni. E' stato tutto perfetto, l'atmosfera, l'accoglienza, la cortesia, la chiarezza e, naturalmente, il cibo. Ottimo per qualità e varietà, non le solite cose ma sfiziosità che hanno incantato finanche i palati più esigenti. Anche celiaci e intolleranti al lattosio hanno trovato "pane per i loro denti" e sono stati completamente soddisfatti. Giuseppe, il titolare, è stato davvero gentile e disponibile per ogni evenienza e Daniele, il responsabile di sala e voce meravigliosa del Duca, ha con il suo carisma messo completamente a suo agio i miei ospiti che, ad oggi, continuano a chiamarmi e ringraziarmi per come tutto sia stato organizzato con cura e professionalità. Grazie infinite anche a tutto lo staff che segue a ruota la competenza di Giuseppe. Creare un team di eccellenza non può che rendere Il Duca un luogo eccellente. Alla prossima!

16/05/2025: Consiglio anch'io questo ristorante, atmosfera tranquilla, personale gentile e preparato , cibi davvero buoni e gustosi, dove si vede che si tiene conto anche della stagionalità delle verdure, in ogni caso c'è una grande scelta di pietanze da leggere sulle lavagne presenti in tutte le sale. Dal mio punto di vista allargherei la lista dei vini con qualche rosato in più ma è una mia opinione. tornerei volentieri anche per i fritti che sono leggeri e molto digeribili, bravi

12/05/2025: It's very reminiscent of the seventies, in a positive but also negative way. Very loud, bordering on suffering; impossible to communicate. It would have been a perfect day, if there hadn't been neighbors at the table with constantly barking dogs. Maybe the managers should have intervened, but they didn't, too bad.

11/05/2025: Absolutely try Trattoria Il Cinghiale in the heart of Benevento! This little jewel, almost hidden behind a discreet door in the historic center, turns out to be an exceptional surprise. The intimate atmosphere, with just seven tables, creates a welcoming and familiar environment, thanks also to the warm welcome of the owner and chef. The real surprise, however, is the superb quality of the dishes and the wine. The menu, although limited, is a triumph of authentic flavours, enhanced by the use of largely self-produced raw materials: from cheeses to ham, from bread to oil, up to the house wine. You can clearly perceive the passion and care in the selection of ingredients and in the preparation of each course. The overall experience was truly memorable, a perfect combination of the authenticity of a traditional trattoria and the excellence of genuine products. I highly recommend a visit to anyone looking for a high-end dining experience, in an intimate and convivial setting.

28/04/2025: Chiamo per prenotare per 3 persone: mi chiedono se siamo 3 adulti. Dico di no, 2 adulti e un bambino di 11 anni. Dopo un po' di frasi di circostanza e una finita consultazione la risposta è : mi dispiace siamo al completo, il ristorante è piccolo e dicono che si mangia bene. Peccato, va bene, sarà per la prossima volta. Però il modo di fare mi insospettisce: pochi minuti dopo richiamo per prenotare sempre per tre persone, stesso giorno, stesso orario. Di nuovo la domanda se siamo 3 adulti, dico di sì. Me lo chiede una seconda volta, dico ancora di sì. E poi una terza richiesta di conferma. Poi addirittura mi dice: "non c'è il cagnolino vero?". No non c'è il cagnolino. E magicamente il posto che pochi minuti prima non c'era ora c'è. E senza nemmeno grandi controlli al registro o consultazioni. Si mangerà pure bene, non ho motivo di dubitare delle stesse parole del gestore. Ma in quanto a correttezza lascia molto a desiderare. Per carità, si può scegliere di non accettare bambini, ma va detto, chiaramente.
