18/05/2025: Great experience here, the cicchetti were delicious and our server was very friendly and welcoming. It was pretty much the first place we went to in Venice and it really set a positive tone for the rest of our trip. It's in a student neighborhood and not flooded with tourists, so you can really take it easy and enjoy your time. Highly recommended.

18/05/2025: We went to this place for an aperitif. Great selection of wine and cicchetti, but we had the classic Aperol and Campari spritz. Good and typical spritz, even if a little expensive at 6 euros. The fact is that being in Venice I expected that with 3 spritz they would bring 3 canapés and some chips, given the cost. Instead only a very small bowl with mediocre bread croutons. I don't think I'll go back there

14/06/2025: A dinner in a welcoming environment without having booked..... ended up here by chance, with the humid heat that could be felt outside, entering we felt pleasure...... Curiosity made us wait a little longer even if it was the right time to know what to choose from the menu.... I can't tell you the face of my wife when she saw that the fish wasn't even a touch present on the menu🫣 The nice thing however is that in the end ... between appetizer and grilled vegetables she came out well too🥳 The undersigned in addition to helping .Ollie enjoyed the low temperature cooked suckling pig. The rosé that accompanied us in the truly exceptional dinner. Thanks to the staff.

08/06/2025: For our last gastronomic investigation, Watson and I move to Cuggiono where on the banks of the Ticino and inside the park of the same name is the restaurant of the Salis twins: the place is worth a visit for the beauty of the surrounding nature; a nature trail also starts from here. The place is of a certain importance and well-kept. We are welcomed by a large number of young waiters, one of whom accompanies us to our table, booked in advance and already supplied with 2 entrées: a bavarois with rocket and sweet and sour Tropea onions. We decide on the tasting menu that offers us numerous courses of appetizers including cold cuts, fried gnocchi, veal with tuna sauce, courgette flowers, Venere rice with vegetables, etc. For the first course, creamed cheese risotto and beetroot crepes. Roast suckling pig with potatoes is the king of the second course while a melon semifreddo and a coffee conclude the evening. With 2 bottles of mineral water and one of Carmignano del Sulcis 2024 Tre torri from the Santadi winery we spend (unbelievable, but true) € 50 per person. The only flaw of the place is that it is also appreciated by families with small children (who certainly feel at ease given the beautiful garden) and therefore it is understandably a bit noisy. A warning to couples with children: Ticino is just a stone's throw away, maximum attention! In any case, a place to try also for the generosity of the portions.

07/07/2025: As a coeliac this place has been amazing! The gluten free pizza base was delicious and wasn’t crumbly or too doughy like you can get at other places. 11/10 recommend for other coeliacs!!

Extremely friendly and kind (I asked to charge my phone, and they didn't hesitate). Quick and precise in explaining some local dishes. Excellent new management! Well done. Highly recommended!

23/07/2025: A Sweet Surprise in the Heart of Matera 🍨🍸 We stopped by this lovely spot in the heart of Matera just for dessert—and ended up having one of the most memorable moments of our trip. The dessert was absolutely amazing: rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with love. What made it even more special was that the staff created a custom drink just for me. It was thoughtful, perfectly balanced, and honestly better than most cocktails I’ve had anywhere. The attention to detail and hospitality was beyond expectations. Even though we only had dessert, the experience was so good that I can’t wait to come back for a full meal. A hidden gem worth discovering. 💫

21/07/2025: The best and most tender Florentine steak I've ever eaten, it looked like butter the way it was cut! 🤤 Super generous portions and everything truly exceptional. Starting with the appetizers, which arrive and you find it already on the table, delicious and fresh local products, excellent house wine and a perfect match with the steak, then continuing with the Florentine steak (tasty and very tender) and finishing with the house desserts,.... you get to the meal and eat the appetizers that are there, to then finish with liqueurs of all kinds and coffee, Paolo is a guarantee now for us Policemen of Florence a fixed stop at least 3/4 times a year, Paolo the owner is unique, a big hug Marco and congratulations for everything as always

20/07/2025: A unique place for its location, yet also unique for its food. The Florentine steak, "ciccia" (as they call it in Florence), tender as butter, with a unique flavor...perfectly cooked... The welcome at the entrance to the osteria was so kind that it's hard to find someone so friendly these days... The appetizers were fantastic...unique...and exquisitely flavored...very generous... 28/06/2025: Great option in Sirmione albeit very busy in the evenings. We only had pasta and the level was above average for a tourist hot spot, with the paccheri being better than the other dish. Service was great but it’s quite busy.

The pizza at Vigliena is simply phenomenal – crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and perfectly balanced flavors, the kind you only find in a true Neapolitan pizzeria. The service is equally impressive: attentive, friendly, and authentically warm. You immediately feel welcome. The restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere and demonstrates how good food and hospitality go hand in hand in Naples. If I lived here, Vigliena would definitely be my daily stop. Unreservedly recommended for anyone who loves pizza and appreciates true Neapolitan quality!

05/06/2025: Grazie alle recensioni positive e trovandomi nei dintorni ho voluto assaporare la cucina di questo locale probabilmente appena ristrutturato perché si presenta raccolto,accogliente e molto ben curato. Accomodati al tavolo ordiniamo ciò che è menzionato dalla foto dello scontrino e devo dire che ciò che abbiamo consumato era tutto molto buono a detta anche da chi era con me,quindi se vi trovate nei paraggi non esitate a fermarvi ne uscirete soddisfatti.

Il grande tagliere comprende grigliata fresca, fritto di calamari e zucchine, gratin di molluschi: prezzo/qualità imbattibile. Servizio giovane, attento e frizzante. Ci tornerò.
