07/05/2026: Disgusting, truly worthy of a report, they sold me a wine that tasted like it was corked. When I told the gentleman who sold it to me and charged me, I said, "Please taste it," but he refused. You could already smell it and see that it was a bad wine. He poured me another glass (after I had already paid €11) half full. I can only say, POOR SUCKER, WHAT A SHAME! 😂😂😂 I wish you all the best.

11/08/2026: Very good ice cream prices – for €3.70, you actually get 4 scoops in two flavors of your choice. Interesting options include sugar-free and/or dairy-free ice cream (I tried the coffee one – delicious).

07/08/2026: A truly unpleasant experience and unprofessional behavior Unfortunately, our experience at this gelateria was anything but pleasant. We were on vacation in Italy and simply stopped in to buy some water. We certainly didn't expect special treatment, but we also didn't expect to be subjected to comments and judgments from the women at the register. While we were there, the women behind the counter began making comments about my dress and clothing. This was particularly unpleasant and inappropriate. They clearly thought they could speak freely without being understood, probably because they didn't know I'm Italian and that I understood what they were saying perfectly. I find this behavior extremely rude, disrespectful, and above all unprofessional. Anyone who works with the public should know that it's absolutely inappropriate to judge or comment on customers' appearance and clothing, much less do so behind their backs, assuming they couldn't understand. We had simply come in to buy some water while on vacation and left with a truly negative feeling. It's not a matter of expecting special treatment, but of having a minimum of politeness, respect, and professionalism towards the people who enter your establishment. The thing that bothered me most was the presumption that I couldn't understand what was being said. If you have something to say about a customer's appearance or clothing, at least have the courage and politeness to tell them directly, instead of making comments at the cash register. This kind of attitude certainly leaves a bad impression, especially when you're on vacation and expect to have a pleasant experience. I sincerely hope that in the future there will be more attention to how customers are treated, because politeness and respect should be the foundation of any business open to the public. A huge disappointment.

05/07/2026: I ordered two pizzas this evening via Deliveroo and after arriving more than an hour late without even notifying them they forgot some ingredients and the pizzas seemed to be made by an apprentice pizza chef who wasn't even that good.

29/06/2026: I ordered a pizza at 12:50 and was given a 30-minute delivery time (I live 2 minutes from the pizzeria). After 45 minutes, I called back to ask why I hadn't received my order yet and was told the delivery guy had just left. After another 15 minutes, I called again and was told they had mixed up and my order hadn't actually been prepared yet. I waited an hour, but I still didn't get any food, since I canceled the order because I don't like being fooled. Very little seriousness.

11/03/2026: First time at this restaurant, I walked in, approached the bar, and simply asked what time it was possible to eat—nothing more, nothing less. I was literally assaulted by the lady behind the counter, who offered various reasons why I should have waited. Very plausible reasons, except that I had simply asked WHAT TIME I COULD HAVE LUNCH, and I certainly didn't ask, and it was neither my need nor my intention to rush things. I tried very politely to calm the lady down and make her understand that my question was different: WHAT TIME WAS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE LUNCH. And no, the moment she started almost mocking me, I said goodbye and left. The quality of the food is up to those who are willing to tolerate such rudeness.

18/07/2026: The food was good and the prices are perfectly reasonable for Italy. Overall, we had a good experience and would return. However, a few things slightly detracted from the overall impression. I found the cover charge of €2 per person too high, especially since the bread was charged an additional €1.20. This seemed unnecessary and not very customer-friendly. Furthermore, the food was served on cold plates. Pre-warmed plates would have kept the dishes hot much longer, which would have improved the dining experience. Aside from these points, the service was pleasant and the food was excellent. Overall, a good place with minor flaws.

AIR CONDITIONING OFF... lights practically dim (they seemed like those in burial niches) with 4 people present for 40 minutes for 4 pizzas... and other scenes that are better to avoid writing... no really, managing a place like this is better to close

30/06/2026: Extremely hot place... The air conditioning... Turned on at the moment.... Pizza arrived after 40 minutes (we were the only ones in the room) the light didn't work (rechargeable light bulbs were placed on the table at the end of the dinner) well.... I was very disappointed....

16/07/2026: I ordered the grilled octopus with vegetables, but it seems decidedly overpriced for two tentacles, one tiny, perched on a jumble of mixed raw and cooked vegetables (which cooked the salad because they were hot). I understand that we're on the main street in Udine's historic center, but too much is too much... or rather... too little is too little. I recommend reviewing the portions or prices. Otherwise, the flavor was good and the service was average.

05/06/2026: I finally found this pizzeria that still knows what ingredients are. Everyone these days tends to use a minimal amount of ingredients, leaving a 3-4 cm border without any ingredients. Here, however, it's completely covered. I'd improve the dough a bit.

04/06/2026: Simple but very good pizza, and open even when everyone else is closed, only a few tables, more for takeaway.

18/11/2025: I happened to be at this place last summer to call back some people from a group because our bus was leaving. I didn't have time to order, but since one person still had to use the restroom, I figured I could use it too, especially since several of our group had already consumed several drinks. I was rudely and arrogantly called back, "Where are you going?" I thanked them for their rudeness.

20/07/2026: We stopped for a drink but we definitely won't stop again as the innkeeper was rude and impolite.

08/08/2026: Truly one of the best gelatos ever. Aside from the price (normal, actually a little lower), they have AMAZING flavors. I had the fig and grape, truly DELICIOUS. My friends had the granitas, which were creamy and thirst-quenching. If you're passing through San Daniele, you absolutely have to stop by. Yum! 😋

25/06/2026: A very nice, traditional restaurant in Villa Santina. The menu is deliberately small, which, to me, is a clear indication that the dishes are freshly prepared. And you can taste it: the food was excellent and prepared with great care. The service is friendly and attentive, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Even if you don't speak Italian, you can easily get by with English. If you're in the area and want to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant.
