11/11/2025: This café has a special feature. Between approximately 8:00 and 10:00 in October and November, you can sit outside and enjoy your coffee in the morning sun, weather permitting. It's perfect for people-watching as Udine awakens. Saturdays and Sundays are best. The staff are incredibly friendly and efficient. The prices are very reasonable for the location. Highly recommended.

27/02/2026: This is a genuine place, one of those you don't find anymore. The food is good, traditional without too many frills, but simple and tasty. The owner is warm and happy to chat and offer advice on what to see in the area. Excellent wines are also available for purchase, and an honorable mention goes to the hazelnut biscuits...fabulous! A place to remember if you're in the area.
26/02/2026: To feel at home in Friuli again, I always stop by here for barley and bean soup. It's hard to choose, given the delicious selection of traditional dishes. In the end, I opted for an excellent frittata with polenta. I feel welcomed with warmth and simplicity, a sure thing!

15/09/2025: Located in a quiet area just steps from the village of Venzone. Very clean, friendly owner, excellent breakfast.
13/09/2025: A place full of charm and warmth. The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful, and the property is spotlessly clean and cozy. The garden and grounds are delightfully peaceful, and breakfast with delicious coffee was a real pleasure. The perfect place to unwind. A good stopover on your next trip to Italy. A great base for cycling. The WiFi is perfect. We highly recommend it.

11/08/2025: Excellent pizza, really kind owner! The only thing they could do is add a UV lamp for mosquitoes; they ate us alive while we waited, 😅😆 but you can't really blame them.
P.S. They also offer home delivery.

15/03/2026: Terrible experience. We sat outside. After a 10-minute wait during which no one bothered to come out to take our order, we went inside to ask and were told they would send the waiter out immediately. For another 15 minutes, no one came to take our order, and after further prompting, the waiter finally came out and took the orders of other tables who arrived after us before taking ours. Service like this wouldn't even be found in the most seedy bars in urban decay areas. Recommended for those with time to waste and who enjoy being teased.

Excellent meat, good wine, and impeccable service.
25/12/2025: The food was good, and the place was pleasant. However, I noticed a slightly disconcerting handling of the cutlery: they weren't changed between meals and were left on the tablecloth. I'm highlighting this as a suggestion for improving hygiene. I hope it helps.
P.S.: €70 per person, excluding drinks.

16/01/2026: Since the last time I was there, things have improved a lot. Especially the service, and it continues to improve. The chefs are excellent, and the service is always friendly and welcoming.

The new noodles are sublime.
The only flaw: it's too cold in the restaurant every time...

03/03/2026: On the way home, the last stop before the Austrian border. Delicious sandwiches, cleanliness, a wide range of products in the shop. We bought ham, salami, cheese, because from here it can last in the trunk all the way home. They were really delicious.
I liked that here in Northern Italy you can get by with the German language.
The only thing I didn't like was the coffee, but apparently others didn't.
I recommend the Autogrill chain along the Italian motorways.
01/03/2026: You can buy fresh baguettes in the store, still warm in the morning. The shower is cramped, there is a small chair to put things on, the water is warm, the renovation is fresh. There is an exit from the parking lot through a gate, you can walk to the waterfall. At the exit, turn left, then right and up in front of the yellow house.
