03/02/2026: The last time I went was as a child, when they still ran the Alpe Adria restaurant. To take a trip back in time, I decided to go again, and it feels like a trip back in time, which is certainly not a bad thing. Excellent pizza, good prices, no-frills service, but I applaud the tenacity of the owners, who are still there after so many years. The only small negative was that they didn't have meringue pie, a worthy end to a pizzeria lunch.

We also ordered a chicken steak, which cost €13, but it was really a small portion. We paid for the bread (a sliced ​​sandwich costs €2.20). Very disappointed, we definitely won't be back!

30/01/2026: A beautiful place with large windows and an outdoor space for the warmer months. The parking lot is large and always crowded. The only downside is that it's on a busy road, so traffic is visible and audible. However, if you're inside, you're comfortable in a bright and beautiful space. The service is fast, the selection is wide, the staff is friendly, and most importantly, the food is good! I couldn't find anything negative. Just remember to book!

I'm giving the service 4 stars only because of the wait, but there are only two people there, one in the dining room, one in the kitchen. A typical Friulian-Istrian menu, well-prepared home cooking.

26/09/2025: For a typical lunch or dinner, the Trattoria Al Vecjo Traghèt is a reliable choice: a place steeped in tradition, where Friulian flavors take center stage. Generous dishes, prepared with local ingredients, are accompanied by local wines that tell the same story of authenticity. It's the perfect place for those who want to savor traditional cuisine in a warm and convivial atmosphere. We attended the asado festival; obviously, the wait was long, but there were probably 400 people, so it was acceptable. The asado is cooked outdoors on the grill; some pieces were soft, others quite dry. We paid €25 each for frico and polenta, fagioli all'uccelletto, crispy frico, and the asado with polenta, water, wine, and dessert. The frico was very good, while the dessert was like a panna cotta with candied fruit—prepackaged, nothing special. The outdoor seating overlooking the Tagliamento River is spectacular. There was live music and in my opinion they were very good, the singer in particular had a beautiful voice. I would go back.
