18/09/2025: Bel locale ampio e luminoso, un ampio spazio all'aperto per i fumatori. Ampio parcheggio. Ingresso facile per disabili, non ho però fatto caso se c'erano posti auto a loro riservati. Da loro ho solo bevuto sia caffè che cappuccino, le brioches sembravano buone ma non credo che siano fresche di pasticceria. Ci son stato perché in attesa di sistemare la mia auto in un autofficina lì vicino.

19/09/2025: I ordered spaghetti carbonara. I've never eaten anything so disgusting. I have no idea what kind of sauce they used; I think it was a pre-made mix, too salty, and smelled like rotten eggs. We won't be back.

28/07/2025: An old trattoria with dated, simple decor, and a covered outdoor area. They don't serve fish, but the food is delicious! The lard appetizer paired with fragrant peppers, the pork loin with excellent tuna sauce, and the tasty first courses with authentic, genuine aromas. The desserts are truly homemade, with a custard that, hallelujah, didn't even contain a hint of cream (so much for the Chantilly cream). All at a reasonable price. In short, I hope to return and eat the orecchiette with that sublime aroma that makes my mouth water...

27/09/2025: A location on the banks of the Darsena where you can enjoy granitas, gelato, and hot food. All strictly Sicilian. I tried the "pane cunsatu" with anchovies, mackerel, and caciocavallo cheese. It was too salty, and the bread selection definitely needs reconsidering. The staff is friendly. Excellent value.

11/10/2025: Pizzeria Alpino – delicious, welcoming, and very accommodating! We arrived at Pizzeria Alpino on a Saturday afternoon without a reservation – and it was really packed. Nevertheless, the friendly staff did everything they could to get us a seat. It finally worked out, and we were very grateful, as we were on our way home with a long drive ahead of us. The food was outstanding – fresh, authentic, and simply delicious. A pizzeria that impresses not only with its cuisine, but above all with its friendly service. Highly recommended!

09/10/2025: Good classics, excellent tiramisu. Service is a bit slow when the place is full outside. We had to ask for the tiramisu twice because it didn't arrive the first time.

26/05/2025: Raffaele and his team took care of our wedding at Castello di Duino and we can only say: THANK YOU! Everything was absolutely perfect, from the organization in the months before the wedding (we live abroad and we didn't have any kind of stress: Raffaele took care of everything), up to the day itself. Our guests were speechless about the goodness of the food and above all about the friendliness and friendliness of the entire staff. We would choose Il Platina 1000 more times! 😊

21/02/2025: Raffaele and his team did an amazing job for our wedding, from the welcome drink to the closing of the open bar. The guests were truly impressed already during the appetizers, between show cooking and tastings, and were definitively won over by the table menu. The dessert buffet and the herbal tea/hot chocolate portion, which was prepared especially for us, were also really appreciated. Raffaele is truly competent and imaginative, he created a menu especially for us that took into account our food choices, offering us a mixed buffet suitable for everyone and a vegetarian table menu that convinced even the skeptics. His entire team was extremely kind and professional throughout the entire very long day. Thanks so much for everything.

28/08/2025: From the outside, you wouldn't give it two cents. Once you're inside, you'd give it a hundred thousand, the food and drink are so good. Prices are as low as they used to be. A must-stop every time I go to or from the station.

11/10/2025: Intrigued by the INVITATION TO LUNCH IN THE NATISONE VALLEYS (from October 4th to December 8th, 2025), we chose Al giro di Boa as our first restaurant and.....a wonderful surprise!!! A sincere, straightforward menu, without frills but made with so much passion and love, and I immediately said to my mother, "There's a woman in the kitchen!" Yes, I want to meet her. I loved the whole-wheat Palacinka with leek and speck...the pork tenderloin with prunes...I can't wait to try all the other dishes on offer. Highly recommended!
