09/08/2024: Great hotel, safe parking locked at night. Very dog ​​friendly. You can even come for breakfast with them. A dog's stay costs €8. There is a large garden behind the hotel. Staff very nice. The rooms are neat and have a lot of sockets ;-) there are plenty of towels and a hairdryer in the bathroom. I highly recommend it

30/07/2024: Very pleasant inn with lots of flowers, good value for money, very warm welcome Room perfectly appointed and very clean, cleaning and faultless. Hearty and complete breakfast. Little extra, there is an elevator, very practical for luggage. Spacious private parking, very pretty and well maintained general exterior setting. Don't hesitate to go there because I myself will go back, the maintenance and catering staff are friendly and attentive.

14/08/2024: Stopping at Varmost at Raul's is like eating with family or a friend from Forno who wants to pamper you in the midst of this stupendous and unique panorama of the Carnic Dolomites: frico, polenta and sausage, gnocchi with venison ragout or melted butter with smoked ricotta, cjarsons and other typical local dishes. Without forgetting the evening pizza with various mountain flavours. A typical moment of relaxation for those staying in Forni di Sopra or a stopover for travelers passing through...... and bon appetit for those who stop by

15/07/2024: Wonderful place, wonderful hosts. We stayed here one night on our way from Austria to Croatia. A place with soul and a unique atmosphere. Multi-generational farm, old farm buildings transformed into a guesthouse. Rooms clean, well-kept, with bathrooms :)

26/06/2024: I've passed there a thousand times and finally stopped to eat the other evening. I thought better. The house wine wasn't that great. The frico was good. The salad with cracklings was soaked in grease. Basically I wouldn't go back. I gave 3 stars for the frico

10/08/2024: The owner is very friendly and kind, service is generally excellent, with some excellence. Very well-kept and pleasant-looking location, despite the exposed electrical panel. The food? Very good, I personally tasted everything and couldn't find any faults. The lamb chops are amazing, the steak is a little less so than the other dishes. The white under ice was particularly appreciated. Stayed cool all evening. I would happily stay here again

20/08/2024: We went there with the family to have dinner. Little attention was paid to us when we arrived; instead, internal conversations continued without serving us. When we were at the table, we were first served drinks by a very nice waitress. The waitress who was responsible for the food seemed overwhelmed and not the right person for her job. There was no card with the menu. Instead, the food selection was quickly read down in Italian. Questions about translating it into German were not welcome and were only answered with annoyance. Prices uncertain. No customer focus. It took 45 minutes to order the food. Of course that was too long for our small children and they were playing with cards at the table. This wasn't welcomed and looked back at us. The food was delicious. However, we weren't asked if we wanted anything else to drink. All in all “okay” but I don’t know if I would eat there again. We didn't spend the night there - so no review is possible.
