19/06/2025: Delicious pasta and focaccia. It's on the main street, but still recommended. Good white wine.

18/06/2025: Many restaurants in Trieste have a strange habit (from a non-Italian perspective) of working short hours in the morning, taking a long break during the day, and working evenings. In other words, at approximately 3 PM you don't have many options and you go to whichever restaurant is open. That is the main reason we chose this restaurant. The pizza we ate was okay, but nothing to write home about (the crust was almost tasteless, and the toppings weren't made from the best ingredients, especially the mozzarella cheese). The service was okay but nothing fancy, and the overall experience was: "it was okay, but..."

26/08/2025: The fish is cooked fresh, so as stated at the entrance, it's not a place for those in a hurry. The atmosphere is lovely.

26/08/2025: The food was excellent. All fish, and the service was excellent. The wait is a bit long because everything is cooked to order. It's worth the wait.

21/07/2025: I chose the place because of the "vegetarian dishes" sign, only to discover that there was nothing on the menu. I had to ask for a "surprise" pasta dish from the chef. It was even more expensive than all the other non-vegetarian options. Instead of helping, you made things difficult for us. Friendly staff. Quick service and a good wine list. My friends enjoyed their dishes.

31/05/2025: Very good pizza with fresh ingredients and a crispy crust. Very friendly owners. The atmosphere is rather simple and unpretentious—there's also seating in the courtyard. An authentic local with excellent value for money.

24/08/2025: Our evening at the restaurant was unforgettable. We had the fish with fries, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The food was perfect; the fish was absolutely fresh and the fries were wonderfully crispy. Besides the delicious food, we also enjoyed the very kind and attentive service and the pleasant atmosphere that gave the whole evening the right feel. We will definitely be back.

31/08/2025: What I like most about this place is the owner's attention to detail. Over the years of frequenting it, I've noticed how much importance they place on staff training. The young people who enter this profession are supported and carefully trained. So I'm convinced that the real selling point of this place is the entire staff.

19/08/2025: Mamma miaaa the caffe crema grande is truly a must have! A cooling and refreshing coffee drink to have. Soooooo good taste and just extremely well prepared. And of course the serving style is topical Italian, stylish yet elegant. So if visiting trieste you should defo try this one out!😋

04/09/2025: Wonderful place surrounded by karst nature. Excellent dishes and excellent pizzas. Excellent service. Very friendly staff.

28/08/2025: A seafood trattoria with a lovely outdoor seating in the warmer months, where you can enjoy delicious, fresh, and carefully prepared ingredients. Eat early here; the restaurant owners don't want to leave late.

23/08/2025: I visited this restaurant today after returning from vacation in Croatia with my husband. It confirms that the fish they serve is truly special, cooked with great care and freshness. I had asked for a different dish because I don't eat fish, and the staff was incredibly kind, attentive to every need and willing to offer alternatives without making me feel uncomfortable. It's rare to find such a warm welcome combined with quality cuisine. They also have a large parking lot for campers. Highly recommended.
