02/05/2026: I was really satisfied with pizza and the prices. Lot's of variety and very tasteful. Would recommend if you are looking for the place that doesn't have to be in strict center of the town.

01/05/2026: A bit disappointed because of the tastes if the food that is not totally a Chinese taste it seems ordinary..i worked snd and ate in a restaurant of Chinese cuisines..only the noodles which is not super especial its taste good and we finish it.

09/06/2026: They greeted us with a smile even though we didn't have a reservation on a rather crowded pre-holiday (and with our dog in tow). The catch of the day and the appetizers were excellent, the service was very attentive, the atmosphere outside was lovely (but the interior was also very nice for the winter), and the price was in line with the quality and location. We would return.

09/06/2026: It's a really nice place. Excellent food and top-notch service. Eugenio and Luca make you feel at home and always welcome. Reservations are recommended.

15/12/2025: Believe me, the pizza at this place is extraordinary, sublime, superb. You can tell a good pizza just by looking at it... Number One's cooking method makes it the best pizza I've had in a while!!! Fresh ingredients, not too few, not too many. The perfect pizza. And not only that, but also the eggplant, the fried calamari... Enza the chef works magic with her hands, and Lina makes the restaurant a welcoming and family-friendly place. The sausage and broccoli rabe are just too much!

06/12/2025: Fabulous pizzeria! Among the delicious pizzas, I recommend the panuozzo. Try it and believe it. The owner, Mr. Ciccio, is great.

03/02/2026: Buffet Valentin in Trieste is a fantastic place! The owner, Silvia, is very friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is familiar and cultural. The cuisine is homey and offers traditional Italian dishes.

04/05/2026: We stopped by on Sunday for lunch, having made a reservation. The road to get there is very narrow, and parking is difficult to find. The restaurant has remained unchanged since our last visit. The service is very good, with knowledgeable staff who can offer advice. The quality of the fish is excellent, but in my humble opinion, it's a bit pricey. You can expect to spend between €50 and €80. But it's in proportion to what you get.

19/04/2026: ...a quick, light meal before an afternoon engagement in the area, which we were led to by chance by a third party's recommendation... A very well-maintained, welcoming place, with a refined, yet unobtrusive, menu. Unique and well-chosen combinations of ingredients. Research and attention to detail...Very positive.

02/06/2026: Overall, a good experience. It's a historic and quaint restaurant, but I would have expected a reinterpretation of traditional dishes. The classic Trieste-style casserole is fine, but I would have expected more modern combinations. Times change, and customers are more demanding than in the past. So, given the price tag, which isn't as affordable as it used to be, I would have appreciated more variety and more sophisticated pairings, while still sticking to local cuisine.

31/05/2026: A quaint place just steps from Piazza della Borsa. Delicious boiled meats and strudel! Super friendly staff! Highly recommended!

02/05/2026: I've ordered delivery a couple of times now, and it always arrives on time, or even earlier. The staff are friendly, and the pizzas are good and lighter than other pizza doughs. The prices are also average, if not a little less expensive than other places. Top!

04/04/2026: We ate there twice during our stay in Trieste, which is very unusual for us – but we simply loved it and the food was delicious! The food is truly FANTASTIC (you absolutely must try the Pasta de Vino Rosso!), the staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is lovely. And last but not least, it's very child-friendly :) We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Trieste!

01/06/2026: A lovely rooftop lounge for summer events, all glass and well-maintained. The waitresses were very friendly, but very inexperienced and unprepared for what we were served. The restaurant's atmosphere on the ground floor is relaxing, with a well-organized space for enjoying the evening without feeling chaotic, and the tables aren't crowded together to maximize capacity. The waitress was knowledgeable and helpful, and our orders arrived without too much of a wait despite the large crowd for dinner. The classic pizzas have excellent ingredients but didn't have a great vibe. The free-range chicken portion was too small for the menu price, and the pasta was noteworthy but too unhealthy given the lack of sauce. The homemade gelato was well-received, and I ordered coffee at the counter due to the wait. A well-designed space has a lot of potential, but the staff is inconsistent, and there are a few menu flaws that could easily be fixed. Three stars, while we wait for it to reach its expected level.
