An excellent tavern in the hills of Trieste. We booked for Easter dinner. Four of us spent 120 euros for a mixed seafood starter to share (excellent, tasty), a plate of drumsticks with courgettes and prawn tails, a ravioli stuffed with sea bass, a pie with asparagus (wild), a mixed grill of sea, two side dishes, three desserts (two chocolate panna cottas and a strudel-style apple pie, very good), half a liter of house prosecco, two bottles of natural water and three grappas (one of which with basil, not too good , but it's a matter of personal taste). The staff appears grumpy but is friendly. You can pay with the pos.

Very good food, fast service and friendly staff, I recommend. I had the daisies (stuffed ravioli, a huge plate of French fries, a can of coke and tiramisu. Everything was too good 💯

The internal spaces have too small spaces, the waiting times for the courses are too long, among other things I ordered the grilled calamari and they looked more like boiled calamari devoid of taste and spices, I had to give up the first one because I had already been seated for an hour and I no longer had enough time to be able to eat everything the Milanese for my daughter was very dry and the fries were worthy of McDonalds, I'm very sorry I had high expectations.

The place is beautiful for its simplicity and environment. The terrace overlooking the Gulf of Trieste, with its simple tables and traditional decoration make the atmosphere a unique place. The pasta with tartufo and fish and fried misto were of great quality. Also The Service.

Trattoria tipica nelle prime alture triestine dove la domenica si riuniscono tante famiglie. Piatti abbondanti, della tradizione, eseguiti in maniera molto casalinga, un po' pesante. Nota di merito a tutto lo staff che è molto gentile e disponibile e si prodiga al meglio e col sorriso per soddisfare le necessità degli ospiti. Sinceramente però non ci tornerei
