Delicious, very authentic Italian food. The dessert was the best pannacotta with caramel I've ever had 😋😋

Casa del Popolo – which, as the name suggests, means 'House of the People'. It's a cosy, friendly place with truly delicious food and the most welcoming staff we've met in Trieste. We arrived quite early, and the fantastic waitress who welcomed us was incredibly friendly, instantly solving our problem of being too hungry. We got some delicious antipasti until the whole place came alive. All the food we've got it's worth climbing the hill; it's worth the price, and it's worth every euro cent. If you spend some time in Trieste, let's get some fully authentic triesten seafood here. Tutto bene! ❤️ Grazie mille! ❤️

I had the pleasure of dining at Osteria Sociale Casa del Popolo in Trieste, and the experience was truly excellent. The food is excellent, carefully prepared with quality ingredients, and the portions are generous. The prices are fair and perfectly in line with the quality and quantity offered. The service is impeccable: the staff is professional yet friendly, always available and attentive to customer needs. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant, ideal for both a lunch with friends and a special occasion. A place we'll definitely return to!

Very simple but clean and well-kept place, family atmosphere and friendly staff, simple but tasty food, menu with the right choices as an osteria should be, fair price and in line with what you eat, I definitely recommend it
