Spontaneously ordered for take out and despite a fully booked evening, the staff and the chef were super accomodating and welcoming and made my dream come true to enjoy their infamous and delicious gnocchi con ragu and the heavenly tiramisu! Thanks again guys!!

It should be noted that you need to book because there are few places. The place being already small perhaps needs a refresh at least on the color of the walls being brown with a lot of stuff hanging. The service was a bit slow but the waiter was really professional and kind and explained every single dish etc. Skimpy menu but everything very good and tasty, prices acceptable kmq not low.

… piccolo, iper arredato. Serve piatti della tradizione locale con influenze austroungariche, se così si può dire. Difatti come piatto del giorno c’era il goulash. (E l’abbiamo preso!) Bene anche la tartare e il misto di formaggi e salumi. Più che dignitoso anche il rosso della casa. Una nota di merito per il cameriere: veloce, preciso, efficiente e competente. Tempi di attesa nella norma (ma certamente non bisogna avere fretta…) Con due portate, un dolce e vino misurato si può stare sui 30 Euro. Con vino “smisurato”e amari si arriva facilmente a 40.

Excellent dinner, polite and knowledgeable staff. I recommend the selection of cheeses and the shank, really good. Good guys!

Il locale credo sia gestito da giovani , visto che erano tutti ventenni . Personale molto gentile e disponibile ( ci hanno diviso ogni piatto in 2 , per farci assaggiare più cose ), cibo caratteristico e buono .Prezzo normale

13/01/2024: I love this place, the staff are lovely, the food is to die for and the wine assortment is perfect. Massimo cooks locally caught fish there. My favorite dishes are, the sardoni alla Massimo, the cozze, the shellfish pasta and the mixed fry which is light and cooked to perfection. It is without a doubt the best place where you can eat fish in Trieste!
31/12/2023: A wonderful place to enjoy a simple traditional fish menu in a local neighborhood. Service very f family friendly. Thanks!

04/04/2024: Among the best osmize in the Karst, with a vast offer of quality products and excellent teran. Very honest prices, lots of seating, both inside and outside. Large parking lot. Absolutely worth visiting.
04/04/2024: The house cured meats are excellent, the hot sausage in a bread crust is also good and the savory pie with vegetables is also good, the red wine and the final grappas are always from the house, friendly and homely staff
