15/08/2024: A journey into the heart of Friulian tradition. Osteria Agli Antenati in Lucinico was a real discovery. From the first moment we were welcomed with the friendliness and passion of Denis and his family, who guided us to discover the menu, carefully explaining the choice of local ingredients and the history of some typical dishes. Our lunch started in the best way: a delicious Pils beer from Reservoir Dogs, a nearby Slovenian brewery, accompanied us in tasting the D'Osvaldo raw ham, a true jewel of local gastronomy, enhanced by the sweet and sour onions and crostoli with fried sage, fragrant and tasty. To follow, we opted for a fresh and light gazpacho, perfect for cooling off, and a beetroot risotto with an intense and enveloping flavour, enriched with drops of smoked blue cheese and apple. A combination of flavors that delighted our palate. But the highlight was undoubtedly the Ljubiaska, a must that we couldn't miss. Filled with stewed bacon and Montaggio cheese, this typical specialty won us over with its soft texture and rich, enveloping flavour. WHAT HIT US * Denis' passion: His knowledge of Friulian cuisine and his desire to share his passion with customers were contagious. * The quality of the ingredients: All the products used are very fresh and zero km, guaranteeing an authentic and genuine flavour. * The welcoming atmosphere: Osteria Agli Antenati is the ideal place to spend an evening in company, enjoying delicious dishes and appreciating the friendliness of the staff. * Value for money: Excellent! We ate very well and spent the right amount. IN CONCLUSION Osteria Agli Antenati is a hidden jewel that deserves to be discovered. If you are looking for an authentic and quality culinary experience, you cannot miss the opportunity to taste their specialties. We highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of good food and Friulian tradition.

22/08/2024: Locale che già conoscevo, si mangia discretamente, il prezzo è caro, il servizio è lento e dedicato ai tavoli dove c'è gente che trasuda soldi. 18 € per un piatto di spaghetti con le vongole,80 gr. In tutto, mi sembra esagerato Chiedo una birra media mi portano in calice che mi fanno pagare 5€ anche se il proprietario è disponibile il l resto è scadente

31/08/2024: I was with my family in this very particular place, a sort of musical time machine, we loved it. The cuisine based on fresh fish depending, it seems, on the daily catch, is truly excellent, only this is worth the road to come to Trieste about 250 km from our home, welcoming staff and very affordable prices, I highly recommend tasting the spaghetti Barcolana and the orange-filled ravioli in smoked tuna carbonara, well, goodness,... Place and cuisine definitely worth trying

29/07/2024: Flavors of typical dishes with local nuances. In general, we were satisfied and even impressed. Anna, who was greeting visitors (as we learned from other reviews), seemed quite tired in the evening, so I will in no way criticize the decent wait for boarding, the menu, and the order itself. The menu is only in Italian - translated through a translator. The cheese platter turned out to be completely unconventional - definitely with local flavor. The type of pasta is probably homemade. But everything is delicious! Thanks for the new experience!

21/07/2024: An ice cream worth trying. A large selection of species, beautifully decorated and friendly staff. A ball €1.30 and they are not stingy when they put it. 6 years later, still the same quality. Ok, the price is no longer current.

25/08/2024: Di ritorno dalla visita al castello Miramare ci siamo fermati e siamo stati accolti, senza problemi anche a ridosso dell’orario di chiusura. Servizio veloce e professionale, piatti Tradizionali e buoni. Abbiamo preso un buonissimo antipasto di mare, delle polpettine di pesce spada, gnocchetti con funghi e gamberi, un rombo con patate. Prezzi nella media. Da consigliare!

My partner and I were in Udine for 1 day only and found this restaurant on Google maps - you absolutely must come here, this place has the best indian food and the prices are great! The owner was very nice and we talked for a bit. Really, really recommend!!

17/08/2024: Pasta con le vongole troppo salata e le capesante gratinate poche cotte , fatto presente al cameriere in sala per la pasta ma senza avere un riscontro , salvo l'antipasto anche se il piattino delle vongole era troppo salato e il fritto che era fatto bene e non unto , mi dispiace perché avevo aspettative altissime da questa trattoria ma non e così .

27/08/2024: Passing through Trieste with friends, we found this restaurant convinced by the good reviews. They have done nothing but confirm themselves. There were 5 of us. My girlfriend and I divided an appetizer, took a first course each and divided a second course. At the end of lunch we were packed and everything was really of excellent quality, very good, I even complimented it. The ham in the appetizer was exquisite, the pasta, in particular the gnocchi with goulash and bacon, were very tasty and finally the Ljubljanska... I was delighted: crunchy breading, filling with an intense flavor and also abundant I must say, accompanied with chips fries cut into rounds (not frozen) and a sauce. The only "negative" note was that the service wasn't very fast, but to make up for it they also offered us the last remaining tiramisu. Personally, if waiting a little means eating like this, the wait is more than worth it: quality requires attention. Quality - price: Excellent, highly recommended: taking an average and considering that we ate a lot of things (starter and first course or just the second course with side dish was enough) drinks + half starter + first course + half second course in the end the total is around 40 euros each, but you can easily stay about 30. For this quality, less would be impossible. Place: cute, spartan, but well kept. Service: apart from the timing, rightly not fast food-like, the staff were courteous, kind and helpful.

24/08/2024: A place with attention to every detail in the center of Trieste, evocative. We stopped for a quick aperitif of his canapés. Unfortunately it is not open for dinner and we were not able to taste its cuisine, it certainly would have been worth it!

13/08/2024: We chose to eat at this Sardinian cuisine restaurant, looking for a place for dinner on a Saturday evening. And the good comments and the interesting menu brought us here to Alessandro e Margherita. The location, in the evening, is truly unique and welcoming, with the fairy lights in the garden, the soft lights in the part of the uncovered patio, a nice atmosphere. The menu is purely Sardinian, from starters to dessert, I was surprised by the sheep's ham that I ate for the first time (as a Sardinian), and I found it really delicious. The ham was served with artichokes, cardoons, mushrooms and olives. As first courses, two delicious dishes: we chose the culurgiones with tomato, and the fregola with vegetables and sausage. How sweet the seadas, good! A tip: it is better to present the carasau bread at the table at the moment, in order to preserve it from heat and humidity, otherwise it will be soft, losing its crunchiness and fragrance. We paid the right price, good value for money. Not too long wait. I highly recommend it for those like me who love Sardinian cuisine. Margherita is a nostalgic, friendly Sardinian who has lived in Friuli for many, many years.

10/08/2024: .... What can I say in this period it seems like being in a fairy tale .... (A month to set up the whole place) .... Typical Sardinian dishes from wine to dessert.... Then also cut and chop.... All very good! THEIR SARDINIAN GINS EXCELLENT..... Young and kind staff (Giorgia the top).... Pleasantly surprised and happy to know that they MAKE almond sweets (delicious) especially for those with food intolerance problems. Ample parking in front. Medium-high prices STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

19/08/2024: Where to start? We stopped by after an evening at the cinema and ended the evening on a high note! Delicious pizzas with soft and well-cooked dough. Friendly staff. Clean environment even a little small (but it doesn't matter). Congratulations Rispopizza!
