We stopped today for lunch, very kind young staff, fast and what was very important for us they had an extensive VEG menu, something absolutely not to be taken for granted in a refuge, I thank you so much and I hope that many people take example from places like these. We had the Frico with polenta and cjascon (I don't know if I wrote it right😝), we wanted to try a typical lunch and we were very satisfied. Very honest prices. First time in Carnia, but we will be back and this will be one of our places!

Great little stop off just off the pink cable car, better priced than a lot of the competition, limited menu but most enjoyable.

I got the braised sausage with pumpkin and onions and I have to say it was the best sausage I've ever had. Really congratulations!

Very nice refuge, there were 3 of us and not having booked for lunch, the girls were very kind and let us sit anyway, I took the frico dish, polenta and stewed vegetables... very very good

Il rifugio Tamai è da anni una certezza nel panorama del monte Zoncolan. Oltre ai classici panini (salamella imbattibile), la cucina è ricercata negli ingredienti ed offre piatti della tradizione esaltati da qualche piccola nota creativa. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è eccellente: una birra, un primo, una porzione di patatine fritte e un dolce 20€ a testa. Tra i rifugi è il top!

ci siamo fermati a pranzo al Tamai durante una giornata di sci. personale gentile, sorridente, disponibilissimo; abbiamo mangiato veramente bene e con mia grande sorpresa ho trovato in menu delle alternative vegan. Cibo squisito (e non solo quello vegan: il mio compagno è onnivoro). abbiamo mangiato all'interno e l'atmosfera è davvero intima, carina, curata. ci tornerò con piacere!
