Ristorante La Stella In Meduno

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Excellent service, a huge selection of wine, extremely friendly staff. A real gem. However, the use of the fire stove was nice for the atmosphere, but it made for an almost unbearable temperature. Apart from that, absolutely perfect! Just come with some light clothes and you'll have the best time here.

A very pleasant discovery, a typical family-run Friulian tavern, top food, courtesy and professionalism no less! We will definitely be back. Well done, good, good.

Regional cuisine done in a classic way. At the beginning there is a salami on the cutting board on the table, then they pass with some small pieces of cheese and then tripe, then the chosen dishes. The owner is decidedly volcanic, he describes the dishes with fervor and between what he offers and what you choose, in the end you don't really understand what you ordered, but it's part of the environment. Good range of wines, I recommend the Meroi merlot. Ah, don't mention anything that could even remotely have political connections, otherwise.....

Splendid and truly characteristic place. Typical dishes of the area excellently prepared and served by very friendly staff. The owner is really nice and very competent in his job. Super recommended!

Location molto pittoresca, ottimo cibo e ottimi vini; servizio unico, svolto con originalità e molta molta simpatia…assolutamente consigliato!

La stella Michelin se la merita tutta, ci sono andato con mia moglie dopo aver letto le ottime recensioni che sono da confermare. Il locale é accogliente arredato con originalità con l'utilizzo del legno, personale cordiale e premuroso, il titolare ha una simpatica personalità, la qualità delle pietanze è sopra le righe, ottimi gli assaggi di accoglienza offerti fra i quali un'eccellente trippa in bianco altrettanto ottimi i primi e i secondi piatti. Noi abbiamo preso gnocchi fatti in casa con sugo di piccione e filetto di maiale che é servito con patente e verdure. Splendidi i dolci, preso un tris: tiramisù, mousse al cioccolato e torta di mele buonissima. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Siamo spesso in Friuli, sicuramente ci ritorneremo.
