17/03/2024: more than positive experience, very good quality of food, there is also fresh fish on the menu, which is now rare to find in a restaurant and you pay rightly, super location, the only negative note for the desserts which in my opinion the prices are a little high for the quality served. It would be a 5 star plus, if the prices in general, but especially on desserts, would be lowered a bit.

01/11/2023: Location fantastica, offerta vini ottima, cibo buono ma mi riferisco ad una volta precedente a quella di cui scrivo. A metà Maggio 2023 vado personalmente con mio marito a prenotare un tavolo per 20 persone per il mese di luglio. Le persone con cui interagiamo scrivono la prenotazione sulla loro agenda alla quale aggiungono la mia mail e il mio telefono. La sig.ra Naima mi manda una mail con le proposte menù, con dettagli che avremmo discusso al momento della conferma. 10 gg prima, come da accordi intercorsi di persona, mando una mail per definire il menù e il numero dei partecipanti e me ne arriva subito una loro in cui c’è scritto : Considerando il fatto che non abbiamo avuto nessun feedback dal 23 MAGGIO per noi la prenotazione non era confermata! Di conseguenza mi dispiace comunicarle che non c’è più disponibilità per il giorno 29 luglio. Se vuole possiamo spostare la cena a settembre. Beh… che strano modo di lavorare! Certo ci sono clienti di serie A e di serie B!!! Però avrebbero comunque voluto fare cassa a settembre… che tristezza sig.ra Naima P.s. Comunque dopo la mail ho telefonato e parlato con la diretta interessata per farle capire che fessa non sono…

09/03/2024: We stopped today for lunch, very kind young staff, fast and what was very important for us they had an extensive VEG menu, something absolutely not to be taken for granted in a refuge, I thank you so much and I hope that many people take example from places like these. We had the Frico with polenta and cjascon (I don't know if I wrote it right😝), we wanted to try a typical lunch and we were very satisfied. Very honest prices. First time in Carnia, but we will be back and this will be one of our places!

05/03/2024: Great little stop off just off the pink cable car, better priced than a lot of the competition, limited menu but most enjoyable.

28/03/2024: Beautiful evening and excellent dishes as always 🌟 Menu of the evening, brioche with creamed cod on a bed of lettuce and cherry tomatoes, crepe lasagne with asparagus and prawns and for dessert thinly sliced ​​pineapple with ginger ice cream and pineapple juice and spices including cinnamon .... Divine 🤤

02/04/2024: Superb experience! Abundant and very interesting dishes, highly recommended for those who love spices. Excellent value for money. I also compliment the service, friendly, helpful and approachable, as we like it! We will absolutely be back!

Warm and passionate welcome: Marco, Mr. Ferruccio's talented son, welcomed us with great cordiality and guided us on a complete tour of the cellar, passionately illustrating the history of the Sgubin family and the company's production philosophy. Excellent tasting: We had the privilege of tasting 5 fine wines, accompanied by a selection of platters of typical Friulian products. The quality of the wines, the result of skilful processing and a deep respect for the territory, won us over at the first sip. 31/03/2024: We stay for three days at this Location. Absolutely lovely Restaurant, where the stuff with high motivation serve the dishes. The taste is perfect with an additional fantastic Glas of wine. In Red or white. During the Dinner time flies and a never Ending evening will start. My favorites are the Desserts, Breakfast is also prepared individuell. So high recommended.

31/03/2024: Local located between Gradisca d'isonzo and Romans, beautiful panorama surrounded by greenery and there is also a playground for children. Ample parking. I was here for a dinner with friends. Ate tagliatelle with goulash, goulash and frico and a good pelinkovac to finish the meal. Kind, friendly and helpful service.

07/04/2024: I had booked a table for 1pm. We arrived slightly early as it was raining. We didn't get off to a great start...when we entered they snubbed us a bit, but once we were seated, everything changed. It feels like we've gone back in time. Courteous staff, good food, not a cheap place. We took 2 typical local soups, 1 bottle of water, a rather small glass of wine and 2 coffees.

06/04/2024: We didn't eat here. It reminded me of the bar in Cézanne's famous painting. Fabulous atmosphere. Also houses a book shop.

15/02/2024: Valentine's Day evening. Beautiful location, very well furnished room with discreet table arrangement. Friendly welcome with attentive service. Good choice of wines, excellent menu that ranges between tradition and revisitation. I took the herring in saor offered off the menu. Really very good. But the dessert really won me over. I selected the boiled strucchi. A symphony of tastes and aromas, a dive into the Austro-Hungarian tradition. Worth noting is the slightly prolonged wait but brilliantly resolved by a truly competent waitress: she was able to handle the mix-up with an incredible smile and the desire to make us happy. You cannot always and only evaluate location and food: the staff plays a fundamental role in a restaurant. Very good 🌹

10/12/2023: Lunch with friends, welcoming place, friendly staff and owners, tagliatelle with venison ragout, homemade cjarsons all really good, shame I didn't try the pizza. Well we will definitely return for dinner... highly recommended...

26/12/2023: I travel as a couple. We were looking for a hotel near Poffabro to visit the nativity scenes. We made a beautiful discovery. Nice hotel with a very comfortable room and very kind staff. We had dinner in their restaurant. I ate the mouflon with polenta. It was my first time and I found it really good.

31/03/2024: We called to book for Easter and on the phone we were NOT told that there would be no pizza and that the menu would be a dedicated one. We arrive and find out at the moment, okay, no big deal, we'll adapt. Reading the menu, however, I see that there was nothing I liked about the second course since I don't eat fish and I don't like lamb, they told me that there was only the possibility of possibly having the schnitzel but ONLY for children... I point out that there was nothing else that I liked and that therefore I would have liked to have the schnitzel, the lady, annoyed, passes it off to me as if it were a huge favor. In short, we are not there. We don't talk about the service, it was distracted and very slow, I finished eating the second one when my dad had yet to receive the first one! My partner ordered a coffee which never arrived. For me it's a huge NO, both for the food which was nothing special anyway, but also for the service, which was very poor!
