25/04/2026: The atmosphere is very intimate, with tables close together; service can sometimes be a bit slow. And that's where the "cons" end. The quality of the ingredients and the preparation of the dishes are decidedly excellent, and the staff is very friendly. A Japanese restaurant (not an all-you-can-eat) where you'll gladly return.

23/12/2025: I've read complaints about the price in several reviews. I think the cost is absolutely normal, especially for Italy and the type of food. Since they use raw materials (salmon for sushi, good, high-quality tuna), they're meticulously prepared, and the food must be fresh, discarding unsold items. It's perfectly normal to pay significant amounts. I had two portions of Philadelphia sushi and a pasta dish. I spent €35, and it's absolutely acceptable. In another restaurant for the same amount, I would have had pizza, water/soft drink, and dessert for around €25-30. So the price is within normal limits. Fresh, good food, as well as its preparation, costs money. That's the reality. As for problems with cooking and the food itself, I'll just say that it can happen. We all make mistakes. The important thing is to recognize that it's human to make mistakes and not get angry. It's happened to me a few times, to receive the wrong dishes or to wait hours... personally, I didn't get angry. Amen. It happens people.

The quality of the food is superior to any other I've tried in the city: the fish is always fresh, the dishes are carefully crafted, and every course reflects attention and respect for the ingredients. Beyond the quality of the service, the excellent delivery service also makes it perfect for enjoying fresh, well-prepared sushi at home, without compromising the experience. The atmosphere is calm, clean, and orderly—a place where you feel at ease and can truly enjoy every dish. Wasabi Sushi clearly stands out from the others: not only for the food, but for the overall attention to detail in the experience. For me, it remains the absolute benchmark for Japanese cuisine in Trieste.

12/03/2026: A quiet, family-run restaurant with extremely kind and helpful owners. Exquisite classic dishes. If you order takeout and pick it up, they'll give you a generous discount. Reservations are recommended to reduce wait times, as the restaurant is small and has only a few tables. Highly recommended!

30/01/2026: It's the only sushi restaurant I enjoy going to, being vegetarian. They offer several vegetarian-friendly options, but I always end up ordering the Shibuya Veggie, which is phenomenal! Even fish lovers have been thrilled, especially the salmon, which I've tried a few times myself. The setting is refined and elegant, and the atmosphere is relaxed. The staff is always courteous, helpful, and professional. The prices are a little higher than average, but perfectly justified by the quality of the food and service. :-))

Nothing particularly spectacular, but a pleasant atmosphere that's a pleasure to be in and conducive to a relaxed dinner. The attentive and organized management is evident, even at the busiest times. The management is Chinese, as is the case with many sushi restaurants in Italy, and the menu follows a fairly broad fusion approach. The menu is varied: sushi, sashimi, creative rolls, but also ramen, poke, and various hot dishes. It's an offering that tries to please everyone and, overall, succeeds. The sushi is good. Well-cooked rice, fresh ingredients, and balanced combinations. There are no peaks of excellence or particularly surprising creations, but everything is executed with precision and consistency. It's the kind of sushi you enjoy and leave satisfied, but it doesn't linger in your memory for its originality or technique. The fusion portion is interesting but not exciting. There's a bit of everything: ramen, poke, and hot dishes, which broaden the selection and make the restaurant suitable for groups with diverse tastes. Some options work better than others, but overall the offerings are solid and enjoyable. You can sense a desire to offer variety rather than extreme specialization in a single area. The service is accurate and friendly, prompt when needed, and helpful without being intrusive. A functional service that complements the experience well and helps make it flow. In summary: good sushi, a wide fusion selection, a tidy atmosphere, and efficient service. It's not a restaurant that surprises or excites in any particular way, but it's a reliable place where you eat well and leave satisfied. Four well-deserved stars. A pass, without any fireworks but with good overall solidity.

27/02/2026: If there were 10 stars, I'd give them all. There's no comparison to any "all you can eat" or other sushi restaurant. The quality here is impeccable, the food is so good that even when you order takeout, it doesn't lose any points. It melts in your mouth and is a treat for the palate 💗 I recommend this restaurant to everyone, and no one has ever been disappointed! The service is excellent and the staff is always kind and attentive. Since it opened 10 years ago, every time I leave I can't wait to go back. See you next time 🫶🏼

14/02/2026: If you want quality Japanese food, this is the best place in Pordenone and the surrounding area. The location is beautiful and decorated with soothing colors, and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, even for children. The waiters (especially the two young women) are incredibly courteous and friendly. See you soon!

11/12/2025: Nice new modern place, food not the best, ordered prawns which arrived after 45 minutes (after I notified the waiter) (they also arrived cold) not only this but also other hot dishes which arrived cold. Not recommended
