20/09/2025: Fresh fish and plenty of variety. We tried the mixed gratin and the mantis shrimp (amazing). Two first courses, one of which was the calamarata: spectacular. We didn't order dessert, but only because we ran out of strudel. Fair prices. Thank you.

08/10/2025: We were greeted with simplicity, kindness, and care. While ordering, we were repeatedly warned that the portions were generous, so as not to overdo it. This attention to detail is truly rare and delightful, both for its respect for the customer and its ability to prevent waste. The quality of the ingredients is truly excellent, and the recipes are traditional but with some truly original combinations. I recommend booking; on a Monday night, the place was fully booked. 09/10/2025: The service was quite good, friendly, prompt and kind. I had the tuna steak with sesame, but it was very fishy and not edible. The salad with bacon and cheese was good and the tuna tartar was very good. I perhaps had a bad piece of tuna.

16/10/2025: A historic restaurant in Trieste, where many famous people have dined. The interior decor is a bit dated, but it has a lovely outdoor terrace. I first visited over 40 years ago. The quality has remained unchanged over the years, and it's always been run by the same family with the care and sense of responsibility that comes with carrying on such an important tradition. In addition to serving traditional Triestine dishes, they also offer many contemporary specialty options. A must-see on the beautiful Trieste hills. The quality/price ratio, in my opinion, is excellent.

All the compliments to the cook, to attentive waiter Eric , and the rest of staff. We have been given even complimentary dishes (pancake with basil and parmesan). 24/08/2025: I've known Nando's for years, and every time I return, it's a confirmation. Confirmation that the food is truly excellent. That the quality of the ingredients is undeniably top-notch. That the wine list and service are top-notch. That the quality/price ratio is extremely favorable (if you want to eat on a budget, avoid quality places). That in the area (and even beyond) it's difficult to eat better and have such a satisfying dining experience. Unfortunately—as I read in other reviews—this excellence of Friulian cuisine isn't always appreciated by its fellow citizens, and that's a shame because I've always found in this restaurant, besides excellent food, a constant desire to improve, with new and creative dishes offered each time, with truly top-notch results. I've been going there for years with satisfaction, and I'm sure I'll return with equal pleasure in the years to come. As a testament to its excellence, I've included a few photos taken during my numerous visits, ensuring that I've tasted and finished every dish without ever finding the slightest flaw!
