09/01/2026: A simple yet welcoming atmosphere, fast service, and warm staff. Even though I'm a Neapolitan pizza lover, I really enjoyed Ambaradan's offerings. I appreciated the unusual combinations on some pizzas (like cavolo nero cream, mozzarella, and anchovies). An added bonus: there's no cover charge!

23/09/2025: A fantastic burger joint in Udine. The atmosphere is great, with a bit of a saloon vibe. You can enjoy a game of pool while waiting for your delicious burger. The music is also pleasant, but not too loud, so you can keep chatting with each other. Another great thing is the variety of beers they have. If you can't decide, you can enjoy a tasting of different beers. And what really matters is the burgers. They come in a variety of flavors, and oh my, what a treat! Baked perfectly, the buns are nice and fresh and cooked along with the burger, and the sauces you can choose from are also truly delicious. Highly recommended, a solid 10.

08/03/2026: The ice cream was very good, but the variety was limited despite the large number of flavors, which in my opinion were very similar. The service was impeccable and fast.

08/01/2026: Spectacular corner in the historic heart of San Daniele. Excellent Ramandolo, sublime Verduzzo. San Daniele remains a one-of-a-kind gem, and its DOCG prosciutto deserves UNESCO World Heritage recognition. For these things, I declare myself absolutely anti-global. Long live Italy, an extraordinary food and wine paradise.

19/02/2026: We had lunch at Il Posocchino in Pordenone for a business lunch, which, honestly, was anything but a business lunch: the food was fantastic! For just €16, we enjoyed a full express meal, cooked to order, and there was also a menu with three fish dishes of the day, perfect for Lent. We had a great time: generous portions, top quality, and a perfectly fair price. Highly recommended.

14/02/2026: We had lunch at Posocchino and had a very positive experience. The entrance is through the bar, and the interior walls are decorated with numerous paintings of famous people eating: an original detail that makes the atmosphere both interesting and pleasant. We had a portion of battered sardines, a pacchero with scallops, a cjalcions, a coffee cream, and a portion of fritters. We also had prosecco, water, and a coffee. The bill was €57.50. The food was very good, carefully prepared, and of high quality; the only complaint is that the portions are rather small. The waitresses were very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Overall, I recommend this restaurant, especially for the quality of the ingredients and the welcoming atmosphere. Seating is limited, so I recommend booking in advance.

28/10/2025: We found it to be a very nice restaurant. Since we didn't go during peak hours, there was no wait; otherwise, I think it would be a maximum of 10 minutes if it was full. The staff was friendly, and the portions were large and very good.

08/03/2026: Stopping by chance and finding a welcoming, quality atmosphere and excellently prepared dishes, well explained by the waitresses, deserves the highest rating. Even just a glass of wine suggests their quality offerings. The unique carbonara, excellently prepared with guanciale and expertly presented, the SPECIAL frico. The chickpea cream offering is not a given, and was a lovely start to an informal yet attentive lunch. A special stop.

28/02/2026: If you're looking for a slice of Sicily in Trieste, Taverna Montalbano is an excellent choice. The atmosphere is typical of old-fashioned trattorias, where substance matters more than form. The spaghetti with clams was fresh and flavorful, but the real highlight was the fettuccine with shrimp and pistachios. The only area that could be improved is the thermal comfort during the winter: unfortunately, many customers forget to leave the front door open when entering or leaving, allowing cold drafts to bleed through, which can be quite annoying for those eating nearby. Overall, it's still a very positive experience that I recommend to anyone seeking well-crafted, passionate Southern cuisine.

24/02/2026: Very nice taverna, with excellent food and service. The staff was really friendly, the food was really good. I would recommend visiting, and trying the scallops for starter they are great!
