Zampolli Gelateria remains a landmark in Trieste: the quality of the gelato is excellent and the variety is incredible, from the great classics to the famous "no-name" flavors, to the always-on seasonal offerings. Unfortunately, the downside is the welcome. The staff aren't particularly friendly or smiling, and above all, they don't pay much attention to the order in which customers arrive; this often leads to confusion and minor arguments among those in line, making the wait unpleasant. The portions are still reasonable, and the price, despite having increased, is now in line with the current average. Overall, it remains a highly recommended place for the quality of the product, hoping for a little more attentive customer service.

It has a remarkable variety of flavors, the creams are delicious, ice cream cakes and single-serving creams are worth trying, exceptional tiles, flavors without artificial colors. Always crowded, it's difficult to find a free table... I had the fruit cup with pineapple and whipped cream, it was wonderful.
