Recommended by a colleague friend who lives in Trieste, I would recommend it to others. Who like a cozy place a stone's throw from the splendid, unique Piazza Unità d'Italia, savoring Sicilian and non-Sicilian delicacies. Wide choice of starters, first courses, second courses with side dishes, Sicilian and Friulian DOC wines, Sicilian desserts. The portions of the dishes are excellent and generous and the value for money is excellent. Honest. Just book

Siamo stati con mia moglie ed amici a cena la notte di Capodanno.. Tutto ottimo, porzioni abbondanti, buon servizio. Personale cordiale e gentile,locale accogliente il tutto accompagnato dalla simpatia del titolare Sebastiano e dal fratello Giovanni. Il locale si trova a due passi da Piazza Unità, così abbiamo avuto la possibilità allo scoccare della mezzanotte di vedere i fuochi d'artificio e poi seguire il concerto.

13/01/2024: I love this place, the staff are lovely, the food is to die for and the wine assortment is perfect. Massimo cooks locally caught fish there. My favorite dishes are, the sardoni alla Massimo, the cozze, the shellfish pasta and the mixed fry which is light and cooked to perfection. It is without a doubt the best place where you can eat fish in Trieste!
