24/08/2024: !! ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!! Absolutely tourist place and inflated prices. Always pay attention to the receipt: after paying the bill with a debit card we realised, as we left, that perhaps there was something wrong with what we had taken... in fact we checked the receipt and as the last line they had hit a salami twice ( from €15 each!). We went in asking for the change and refund of the money, and the sales assistant simply opened the cash register and gave us the money back in cash but we weren't even asked to apologize for the inconvenience, everything as if nothing had happened! It's probably a little game they often play with tourists! Gastronomy nonsense but very clever. Attention

13/08/2024: It was horrible. Maybe because we came in the ,,sleep" time, but our waiter was a complete a..hole. He newrly tossed our food in front of us. We had to tell the waiter three times that he forgot two dishes. And when he came to take our orderthe waiter didnt even asked if he could pick it up. The food was good amd the robot was cute. Thats why I gave it two stars. And the DUCKING service fee was 3.50 euro?!

09/08/2024: Good food excellent service the location in the evening really nice the only flaw is that they brought me a course of mussels where inside there were only 15 mussels of which unfortunately two were empty, then they make you pay for the bread separately you pay the cover charge But it's not including bread However, overall I had a good time and I think I will return

10/08/2024: Amazing patisserie with so many options, all entirely gluten free! If you're wheat free as well you may wish to enquire more as I don't know if they use gluten free wheat products. Literally the best gf croissants I've ever had - don't miss them! They also have lots of pretty little tarts etc, bread, doughnuts, foccacia, sandwiches etc. Be aware that the bread and doughnuts won't be ready until a little later in the morning, even though they open at 8. The staff were all really friendly and helpful about explaining products to me. Lots of lactose free options too and some vegan.

13/08/2024: I went to get an ice cream and a milkshake, as soon as you enter you can smell artisanal ice cream, I got a pistachio ice cream and it was a cream, very good, however the chocolate milkshake tasted like unprocessed chocolate it seemed pure, all tasty staff nice and super helpful, worth trying at least once in your life. (among other things, he is the 2022 2023 2024 winner of the Italian ice cream competition)

08/08/2024: Even though I have always criticized what underlies the vision of this ice cream shop, I must be honest that it has won me cup after cup over the years. The girls behind the hornbeam wells are always very smiling and helpful towards the customer. The environment is modern and warm at the same time. The "magic" is not only in eating ice cream, but also in being able to see those who prepare and process the raw materials for sorbets and ice creams at work. The products you will find here are authentic, out of mass production chains or other forms. A good ice cream, the flavor that won me over was the Fior di latte. Although it is a basic and "simple" flavour, it is the first that makes you understand whether an ice cream is good or not. This fior di latte has something special, it reminds me so much of the ice cream of my childhood. In summary, I wholeheartedly endorse this ice cream shop and the idea of ​​"making ice cream" that it promotes. I recommend it especially to those who are now tired of eating "commercial" ice creams or ice creams which are often unbalanced and unsatisfying despite the cost having increased!!

30/06/2024: La mia prima volta in questo locale, su indicazione di amici. Non facile da trovare, ma con il navigatore ci si arriva. Locale pulito, personale gentile e pronto. Affettati e formaggio molto buoni, pane eccezionale. Ampia scelta (per essere un agriturismo) di primi e secondi. Cibo decisamente buono. Vino locale. Tiramisù eccezionale e in porzione generosa. Grappa alla Luisa ottima. Per chiudere conto più che accettabile. Da ritornarci.

11/07/2024: Locale storico (70 anni !) nel cuore di Mortegliano a pochi km da Udine. Cena degustazione per matrimonio. Accoglienza super, tutti molto gentili e attenti. Prodotti freschi, presentati con attenzione , un po’ di tradizione e un po’ di innovazione . Tutto estremamente buono ! Ci torneremo sicuramente!!

When I stopped at the supermarket, I was treated like a customer and, despite the language barrier, I was treated politely, respectfully and courteously with the feeling that I was a "customer". The first thing we were told was that we shouldn't sit down without being assigned. Afterwards we were immediately informed that we would be lucky to get something else as the kitchen was about to close. It should be mentioned that everyone ate at all the tables and also ordered food. I didn't have the impression that the kitchen would close immediately. Subjective perception on my part: At no point did I feel welcome. I would even lean towards the “unwanted guest” point. I have never experienced rejection of this kind in the catering industry. We left the restaurant with this feeling. Last but not least, I would like to apologize for choosing inappropriate words about the general manager's physical appearance in my review, which I wrote in a moment of anger and emotional turmoil. 02/08/2024: Good ingredients, particular dough (editor's note: already finished at 8.15pm). However we had to wait 1 hour (timed) for 2 pizzas when there wasn't even that many people. Must try again.

20/08/2024: Family lunch with our one year old son. Excellent food and noteworthy hospitality: not only attentive, but also smiling and friendly. The entrance staircase was slightly uncomfortable for us who had a stroller, but perhaps there was an alternative solution and we didn't inquire. They provided the little one with a dedicated extra menu (mouth-watering gnocchi with meat sauce) and a clean and very comfortable high chair. Finally: we were celebrating a birthday and the simple birthday candle that we had brought from home was replaced by a super pyrotechnic candle (see photo). One of those small gestures that make you feel at home. We will definitely be back!

11/08/2024: All very, very good, we ordered venison carpacio, mixed platter as a starter, rabbit, venison and oricchiete, all for three people which we obviously exchanged so we could savor them. 02/09/2024: a place open all day which acts as a refreshment point as it is located on a rather busy passing road, with an agricultural farm in front and a petrol station on the side. the location is therefore not exactly the best but the place inside is nice and well looked after. in addition to the bar you can eat an excellent pizza by the shovel, with a very very thin dough that makes the ingredients stand out. the blades come in three sizes and flavors can be combined. good value for money.
