28/09/2025: Welcoming, inviting, and pleasant. Smiling staff. The only drawback was the room. Alone, a single... Too many for my habits, the flaws. - I recommend separating the bathroom light from the exhaust fan, considering the bathroom has a window. Too much noise, even at unnecessary times. - Too many light sources that were very annoying at night (telephone with display, LED TV, LED air conditioning, LED switchboard) - No bedside table (with books, glasses, and other items on the floor) - No bedside lamp - But above all, the inability to turn off the only light in the room directly from the bed, requiring you to get up. Terrible and annoying. Easily solved, these issues offer a perfect stay in an otherwise accommodating facility.

19/09/2025: It's a very distinctive icon...the pergola...unique. Excellent for an aperitif. The meatballs are very delicious and flavorful, as are the lubianske (a kind of pasta) to go with the ham and mustard and horseradish. 😋😋😋

08/09/2025: I've been here several times for both lunch and dinner. I'd give it full marks for a business lunch, but I wouldn't give the same rating for a weekend dinner, where takeout makes the atmosphere chaotic and noisy, and the wait times are consequently longer. However, the staff is experienced and committed to providing the best possible service. The quality of the pizza is good, but perhaps the pizza menu is too extensive for me, as I love marinara, calzone, and margherita.

10/10/2025: A nice place to have breakfast or just a coffee. They have several options for desserts, in particular, the small ones like Viola💜, Tropical💛, Sacher piccola💗, etc. Coffee is very good. If you are sitting there, you will also get one nice "Fave" served 😊. Overall, very nice! Coffees are slightly expensive than typical Trieste price, but it is worth spending some time in this well decorated, cozy atmosphere 😌

The cuisine showcases seasonal produce and interprets it with fresh flavors. The service is friendly, and the dishes are of high quality and well-prepared. 07/09/2025: A truly charming restaurant – a wonderful, cozy atmosphere, exuberant, genuine hospitality paired with the finest ingredients and delicious preparation – all at more than fair prices – we were delighted! Just a tip: always come hungry… the portions are generous, and you'll also get to try the specials from the kitchen… The regional wine selection is huge – excellent advice here too – thank you.

10/10/2025: We had lunch at Buffet Gildo today and were thrilled! The place, packed and lively, immediately won us over with its authentic atmosphere. Delicious food, a wide selection, friendly service, and excellent prices: a perfect mix that makes it one of our favorite places in Trieste. We can't wait to return with our family, who are coming from the South, to share a true and delicious slice of Trieste tradition with them. An unmissable stop, both for those visiting the city and for those looking for a delicious lunch break that feels like home and tradition. Wonderful!

30/08/2025: Stopping nearby for work, my fiancé and I chose Laura and Nadia's restaurant almost by chance. As soon as we entered, Laura greeted us with an old-fashioned welcome, followed by a handshake and a warm smile. The dinner was superb, featuring traditional dishes accompanied by the two sisters' tales of the family restaurant's ups and downs. We felt at home and never fail to reminisce about that day. 30/09/2025: We had breakfast at the Locanda. Located in the heart of the beautiful village of Polcenigo, this restaurant is housed in a truly beautiful historic building. It has both indoor and outdoor seating, right next to the river. The croissants and cappuccino were delicious, and the prices were reasonable. Efficient service, with friendly and helpful staff.
