11/03/2025: One of the best restaurants in Trieste, reconfirmed after years, a guarantee of quality for both food and service. I found the environment - new to me - of the veranda very beautiful, with a style that recalls the mountains more than a seaside city with the various wooden elements. I really appreciated the willingness to prepare just for me a dish that on the menu is intended for at least two, tagliolini carbonara with truffle. In addition to the appetizer and the first course that we ordered, we were served an entree at the beginning and biscuits at the end of the meal. Substantial bill but the place is worth it all.

03/03/2025: Very pretentious place, walls full of certifications, prizes and competitions. Nice and well-kept environment. Good dishes, although not exceptional. Unfortunately, of two scallops au gratin, one was clearly served badly as it was swimming in oil, it really looked different from the other. Service, although very courteous, was not optimal: when we asked for a bottle of water they remembered it after half an hour when we had finished everything, I proposed to offer us a digestive which we accepted but they forgot to bring it to us. Finally a receipt with a total and that's it, without any details. Overall we definitely expected better

04/02/2025: Going up the Stella river from its mouth on the Marano lagoon to reach the "restaurant at the Stella river" through its fresh and clear waters fed by the resurgences of middle Friuli is always a great joy. It's a bit like landing in a "safe port", you savor the pleasure of the welcome and notice that every rhythm is slow. Wide and very interesting proposals, Raw food: from shellfish, oysters and everything the market offers day by day. The first courses: all delicious with Maltese and Mediterranean influences. The latter proposed in the local and/or international versions are a triumph. The wine list is rich and complete. To try, letting yourself be enchanted by the lanterns lit at dusk, by the slow flow of the water.

08/02/2025: The ice cream makers are super nice. The ice creams are very good and the food in general is great. The bathroom is dirty but not too much.

02/01/2025: Very good ice cream. Even in winter I like to eat it. The pasticciotto and the cannoli should be reviewed, since the latter was particularly "soft". Therefore, I definitely recommend ice cream and in particular, as in the photo, the brioche with ice cream just to raise the glycemic index to prepare for the day at work or after a long day at work, also combining it with a good coffee. Highly recommended.

10/03/2025: We went to this typical tavern attracted by the beautiful photos seen online. The food is good, you can feel the care taken in the preparation. However, we were a little disappointed by the limited choice on the menu, which limited the experience a bit. I understand the difficulties that can exist in managing such a business, so I still give a high score. However, it would be an improvement to offer a few more options to make the experience even more complete. It's a shame, because the potential is there!

28/02/2025: Very nice place with warm and welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed excellent ham and very tasty first courses, even the second course based on chicken was really good. Recommended if you go to San Daniele

18/01/2025: First time I was invited to this place and I can say that it is very characteristic, the parking is very large. The interior, although not spacious, has very warm characteristics, the service is fast and very professional, although the wines and the excellent cuisine are nothing to beat. object, it also has an outdoor area for smokers, I will definitely return

30/03/2025: Osteria tipica, ma prezzi un po’ alti Sì, perché considerato il servizio all’americana molto smart pietanze normali comodità con poco spazio molto attaccati come un pollaio, considerando le gustose pietanze sicuramente ma vedendo anche i prezzi esposti gli aumenti sono stati considerevoli negli ultimi anni dal 40 al 50% mi sembra eccessivo in più rispetto a qualche anno fa Diciamo che bello il contesto piatti succulenti, ma non c’è tanta possibilità di svago o di spazio e i prezzi li trovo alti

13/03/2025: I've been going to the place for about 20 years and 99% of the time I've always eaten pizza. Today I wanted to taste the meat (Florentine with potatoes) with friends and I must say it was excellent. I won't add anything else! Really fair price! Well done!

05/04/2025: Il posto è incantevole e verissimo, sembra proprio di stare in Friuli. Il menù è tutto di tradizione a parte qualche piccola cosa, ma anch'essa interpretate in modo tradizionale. Lista dei vini agevole e di territorio e ci mancherebbe. In sostanza una figata fiabesca, che diventa più vera se ci entri e tasti. Come quasi tutto in Friuli. Come quasi tutto il Friuli. Mandi. 20/03/2025: Per essere un giovedì a pranzo locale con molte presenze a testimonianza della nomea. Abbiamo mangiato bene, anche se a onor del vero un primo non era sufficientemente caldo come avrebbe dovuto essere. Servizio buono anche se inizialmente abbiamo dovuta aspettare e richiamare la attenzione per ordinare. Luogo caratteristico con un bel "Fogolar" con il fuoco acceso. M@ndi.

08/02/2025: Absolutely fantastic, cousy place. When you taste Prosciutto San Daniele, it melts in your mouth. Truly exceptional quality, best in the world. Rest of our short late lunch was also amazing, local cheeses, very tasty bread, burrata, friulian very nice white wine. Worth visit, grazie mille to the owner. Whenever we will be back in San Daniele, we will stop here again !
