22/02/2026: A small place with a nice outdoor area where you can sit and enjoy gelato with friends and relax. The gelato is very good and creamy, and the staff is friendly.
17/02/2026: Good gelato (as evidenced by the usual high attendance), always friendly and smiling staff.
There's also some outdoor seating.
Edit: With the new year, the scoops have been reduced in size, a real shame considering the €1.70 price tag.

They have a good red-pezzata fillet, fried lasagna (special)...
But what really struck me was the Gorizia rose...after finishing everything, after dessert, I ate another plate!
14/12/2025: I had dinner with my puppy and his partner. Super kind. Welcoming. Very nice location. The food and drinks were divine. Everyone was friendly and the service was excellent and fast.

After reading dozens of reviews before our trip, Gelato Marco was the clear winner… and it completely lived up to the hype! The queue stretching down Via Malcanton is the first clue you’re in the right place. Creamy, intense flavours (the pistachio is pure green gold, the chocolate extra-dark and decadent, the fruit sorbets taste like they were made five minutes ago). Generous portions, friendly service even when it’s packed, and prices that feel almost too fair for this quality. We were 4 and tried 10 flavours – every single one was perfection. If you only have gelato once in Trieste, make it here. Worth every second of the wait!

16/09/2025: We found this restaurant by chance, visiting a customer who was chosen because it was on the street. It was a pleasant surprise.
A Slow Food Presidium, we ate chicken liver pâté with figs and spaghetti with white duck ragù. Delicious.
16/09/2025: We stopped by chance. The atmosphere is family-friendly, and the menu offers a decent number of courses. The ingredients and preparation are top-quality. If it's on the menu, I recommend the liver pâté with figs and toasted brioche, and the rabbit. The bread and chocolate cake is excellent. The price is in line with the quality.

22/02/2026: After a very interesting visit to the Archaeological Museum of Aquileia, we had dinner at La Colombara restaurant.
The atmosphere was familiar and welcoming. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The appetizer (mosaic) was fabulous and plentiful. The main course (mixed grill) was legendary. The price was in line with the quality.
Highly recommended.
17/02/2026: Excellent food, both seafood and non-seafood.
The gnocchi with Montasio fondue and crispy San Daniele prosciutto are delicious, as are the tuna steak and the catch of the day (sea bass). Local products are available, including a variety of white and red wines.
The staff is friendly and very helpful, highly recommended!

16/06/2025: Very good pizza, the staff speaks little English, for eating on site they add 1.5 €, fees, it is in the price list, but the pizza is delicious, especially the dough. I personally think that the so-called small one is enough for 2 people but to eat it is for one, thin dough

Table service was very slow; after a 20-minute wait, I got up and left. The waiter (alone in the dining room) started serving tables full of people who had literally just arrived, ignoring me.
10/12/2025: Very elegant, but not at all exaggerated. I've seen many gluten-free pastries, but this one is definitely the best in Trieste and easily in the top 5 in all of northern Italy.
