I'd give it full marks for a business lunch, but I wouldn't give the same rating for a weekend dinner, where takeout makes the atmosphere chaotic and noisy, and the wait times are consequently longer. However, the staff is experienced and committed to providing the best possible service. The quality of the pizza is good, but perhaps the pizza menu is too extensive for me, as I love marinara, calzone, and margherita.

19/08/2025: I often go there for lunch for work and dinner with my family. Great atmosphere with a fireplace! Excellent food! Simple and very kind people! The food is truly healthy and includes many typical Friulian dishes and more!

The location was lovely: we ate outside, unfortunately not under the umbrellas due to the bad weather, but under the building's canopy. The small park is nice for families with children. The house wine was of good quality, and the bottled wine we tried was excellent. The food was very good, not particularly high-quality, but the entire menu we tried was satisfying. Porcini mushroom salad, tagliatelle with chanterelles, slow-cooked king prawns, and sliced ​​picanha steak. Excellent value for money, recommended!

01/09/2025: I was absolutely blown away by this restaurant! I ordered the frico, thinking I'd seen it all. Instead, this frico is something unique. Usually, my go-tos are my mom's frico (unbeatable), the historic one from Al Campanile restaurant in Cividale, and, alas, the unforgettable pancetta one, which has sadly closed its doors. But this... this is on another level! A flavor I've never had before, a real surprise. It's clear they know how to make frico here in Friuli, but this restaurant has definitely raised the bar. Highly recommended, yum!

23/08/2025: We went there to take photos of the records, and it was perfect. German or English doesn't get you very far, so be sure to bring a translation app and install the language packs beforehand, as we had no reception there.

19/07/2025: We ate two gnocchies, one quattro formaggi and one with smoked ricotta. Latter one was quiet dry and tasteless, the other one was average but both of them was too soft/overcooked.

28/08/2025: Let’s start with the service of the young gentleman who served me and my fiance . I felt so special and so did he. I don’t have enough words to thank you. The octopus was the most yummy meal I tried ( see the picture ), and the remaining of the course was absolutely delicious and out of this world. Thank you so much for the hospitality and for the amazing experience. Compliments to the chef as well. We will definitely return.

14/08/2025: On our way back from Croatia, we needed to stop for lunch, and based on the reviews, we decided to stop here. What can I say? A typical rustic trattoria, superb dishes (the homemade gnocchi were excellent), and reasonable prices. A bonus is the typical trattoria-style decor and clientele! In short, if you're a lover and nostalgic for Italian-style trattorias, this is the place to be!
