27/06/2025: Welcome, this unknown. Totally lazy, absent and unhelpful staff: we stood for ten minutes at the entrance without anyone saying a word to us (not even to ask if we had booked) or making us sit down, while the girls at the counter stood there twiddling their thumbs and watching the band playing, then we left... they made us feel embarrassed. A place for radical chic who have time to waste.

07/06/2025: asked for a Negroni without ice, served half a cocktail and instead of the Martini the guy decides to put the Punto e mes Carpano, but without saying it. I notice but he says that the Martini was finished. But it still costs 9 euros. The place is already so-so, then you think you can make fun of me. The prices are not like this (no price list present) especially if you don't know how to make a cocktail.

31/08/2025: Nice place, good food, quality sushi. I'd like to give more stars for the atmosphere, but the problem that really bothered me was the Chinese man—I don't know if he's the owner. He's always pissed off, all you can hear is his voice. His presence changes the mood of the place.

22/06/2025: We stopped in Brescello on our way home. We sat down at a table and waited 10 minutes for a waiter. When the waitress came, she listlessly placed ready-made grissini on our table. While the food was being prepared, there was no waitress to be seen. The salad came after the tortellini and gnocchi. The waitress is also the cook. All in all, it was disappointing.

09/05/2025: Non ci ritornerò più !! Due primi , neanche un granché ,un contorno un po’ di vino ( alla spina) 50 €!!! Per non parlare dei tempi di attesa ed eravamo in tre in tutto il locale!!!

29/04/2025: Troppo caro. Due pizze normalissime (napoli e bianca e per giunta ad impasto poco lievitato in stile "mappazzone), 3 birre da 33 cl, 2 caffè deca: 42 euro. Locale datato, attesa lunga. 3 tavoli, 5 persone gestite da cuoco, pizzaiolo, cameriere, barista tuttofare. Probabilmente ha vissuto tempi migliori. Se proprio non si resiste alla fame improvvisa meglio tornare a casa e cuocersi due spaghetti aglio e olio...

22/03/2025: Disappointing experience at Sali e Tabacchi: a misplaced display of luxury My recent experience at Sali e Tabacchi on the occasion of a birthday party proved to be deeply unsatisfactory. The dinner, defined as such with indulgence, highlighted a culinary quality well below expectations, bordering on mediocrity. The organization of the spaces proved to be lacking, with the diners being arranged too close together, which compromised comfort and conviviality. The management of specific dietary needs, particularly regarding vegetarian options, was characterized by a clear lack of attention and sensitivity. The response given to my friend, who had communicated her preferences in advance, appeared negligent and superficial. The environment, which aspires to an image of elegance and refinement, comes up against a series of inconsistencies: the limited acceptance of payment circuits, the questionable reinterpretation of traditional dishes such as cappellacci carbonara, and the incorrect preparation of cocktails, such as my gin and tonic with gazzosa instead of tonic, are just some examples of incomplete and approximate management. In summary, Sali e Tabacchi presents itself as a poor imitation of a luxury experience, with a selection at the entrance that contrasts sharply with the internal disorganization, the mediocre quality of the food and the sloppy preparation of the drinks. I would strongly advise against it to anyone looking for a top-notch culinary and entertainment experience.

18/03/2025: Extremely unkind and rude bodyguards, we knocked at the entrance to ask for information and despite the kindness and the proclaimed education and the appropriate dress code they chased us away like dogs without any explanation, crazy stuff, never seen anything like this in such a renowned place in Reggio Emilia, not recommended

04/07/2025: I ordered a burrito inco where inside there should be speedy (spicy chicken sticks) and without telling me anything they put pieces of poor quality cutlet in place of the speedy (because they ran out)

05/09/2025: Terrible staff. EMPTY place, at a table of 10, everyone orders except one, and they send him away because there's a mandatory €5 drink, EMPTY place. Disgraceful.

31/08/2025: A traumatic experience. I went into this bar with my partner this morning for breakfast. A man at the bar—perhaps the owner, I don't know—with white hair was rudely abusing the staff, scolding them in front of all the customers. A young man kindly approached us to take our order—after we'd been sitting there for a while and being ignored—and he rudely scolded him, at which point we got up and left. It's absurd that in 2025 there are still people who think they can run businesses this way, with no respect for staff or customers. Don't go into this bar, at least not while that man is there!!

16/08/2025: The pizzas were pretty good (nothing exceptional), but it's a shame they pretended to have a broken POS terminal so they could charge cash, rather than issuing a receipt... which is what happened to me and three other people who were there to pay. Tax evasion, as per tradition.

16/08/2025: They're very kind, but it's a shame the pizza isn't edible... I really couldn't eat it! In the meantime, I order a Napoli and a double mozzarella and she brings me two Margheritas (she doesn't get the price wrong, though) oh well... rubber, best used for bike tires at most.
