23/08/2025: We had a truly wonderful experience at Oro Nero Sesso – Reggio Emilia! 🌟 The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff extremely kind and attentive to every detail. We felt pampered from start to finish, and the kids had a blast, which is very important to us. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The food was incredibly tasty, carefully prepared, and impeccably served – every dish exceeded our expectations. 🍝🍕🥂 Thank you for a special evening and the impeccable service. 05/08/2025: Unfortunately, I am very disappointed, a large menu with drinks and the corresponding prices is behind the bar. However, the prices are not correct, instead of paying 3 euros per Aperol as advertised here, we were charged 6€. With the note that there is a small QR code on the tables with the current card. However, you always had to go to the bar to order, and the employee was also completely listless and unfriendly towards foreigners. Not recommended at all and even the suspicion of fraud!!

15/11/2025: This has become our go-to pizzeria, a second home. The owners and service staff are always kind, polite, and attentive. They always accommodate our various requests. Nothing is ever out of place. The pizza is excellent, as is the fish. Keep it up, guys!

22/09/2025: A miserable, small, family-run place, terrible manners, terrible management, they take whistling for fiascos, terrible communication with customers, dirty bathrooms, terrible pizzas 🍕 with not-so-fresh ingredients, NEVER AGAIN... NOT RECOMMENDABLE!!

02/11/2025: I'm writing this review while still sitting at the table because the food hasn't arrived, so I have time to waste. I came with my family. As soon as we delivered our first order, we were told we'd have to wait a bit longer for the sushi because the rice needed to cool. No problem so far, except that everything else we ordered took ages to arrive. We arrived at 1:30 PM, and at 2:30 PM we were still waiting for our first order (the restaurant was almost empty). The staff seemed to ignore us. We tried asking for more soy sauce for 15 minutes, but every time they approached the table, they wouldn't listen and left before we could ask. We even managed to communicate with them once, but they still seemed to refuse to bring it to us since we were still waiting. I won't go into more detail, but I'd like to conclude by saying that I've tried several sushi restaurants in Reggio and have never had to wait this long for food. We've only managed to order twice. It's 3:00 PM and some of the dishes we ordered on the first try still haven't arrived, although I think we'll give up and go pay, especially since they've closed the kitchen. We won't be returning or recommending this restaurant. It's a shame because we usually love sushi, but this is a bit tiring.

26/10/2025: The food has improved dramatically. Maybe they've changed the chef, but now the food is 5-star. The atmosphere is still relaxing and beautiful. Highly recommended!

17/11/2025: I may have had high expectations, but in any case, the service was spotty. I found the staff struggling between the tables and selling products. The menu was left to chance, the dishes were poorly presented, everything was cold, including the tea, which was clearly watered down. And to top it all off, I found a hair that wasn't mine (I have very curly, blonde hair; the hair was straight and black). They noticed I saw it and glossed over it, making me pay for everything. I strongly advise against it. Cir does better.

21/09/2025: The type of dishes is interesting and unique. We tried a bit of everything: the two menus (fish and vegetarian) and some additions, to get a complete idea of ​​the offerings. I can tell you that the experience was overall pleasant and the food was perceived as light and digestible. We like the format, and this type of home-cooked yet healthy cuisine should be integrated into everyone's routine. I have a few points to highlight: The tea had almost no flavor, and all the dishes were generally light, but without the seasoning/sauce/cooking broth or accompaniment that truly enhances them. I think that adding some extra spices, a touch of salt, or cooking reductions could enhance the menu as it deserves. The anchovy toast was perhaps too thick, and I didn't find the vegetarian burger particularly intriguing (very bitter due to the olives and very bland in terms of seasoning, compared to the sandwich it comes in). Overall, an experience worth trying, but I think the offerings could be improved. Fair price and friendly staff. Not all the waiters know the proposal well

23/11/2025: A good hotel located on the outskirts of Reggio Emilia. I use it for my business trips and it's become a regular stop. The room is clean and comfortable. The bathroom is OK. The breakfast is good, with both sweet and savory options. The price is OK.

19/11/2025: You can't say it's not a good hotel. I'd be lying. But the price isn't cheap. It starts at €65, then adds breakfast and taxes. Covered parking is another €10. Let's just say the price for a single room is close to that of a luxury hotel, which it absolutely isn't. The smell of the water coming out of the taps is sickening. Excellent breakfast.

12/12/2025: A typical Emilian osteria I found with work colleagues, serving exceptional dishes. Whenever I'm in the area, this is a must-stop. My colleagues and I have always had a great time, both with the good food, the friendly owners, who have been running this place for over 30 years, and the reasonable prices. I recommend the pumpkin tortelli with soffritto. Well done, guys.

24/10/2025: An old-school restaurant. Which I really like. Wood paneling on the walls, a retro look, I love these places. Traditional cuisine, no fancy plating. Here, the focus is on substance and flavor. And if after eating you're still not satisfied, go to the cashier, ask for the bill, and pick up your jaw. I've never found such a good value anywhere else. And I think that's their strength. Very easy to get to, with ample parking in front. They also offer bar service. Highly recommended.
