I chose this place for its reputation for excellent service, quality, and speed, and I was not disappointed. The food was extraordinary, with pizzas made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend it.

07/07/2025: In addition to the wait (we had booked for 8:30 pm but they made us wait until 9 pm with the place practically empty inside...) the pizza is edible but we found the dough a bit hard and dry. Some pizzas were almost raw and one arrived literally with a hole in the middle because the dough was so thin.
Ordering the pizzas was already a feat because they kept misunderstanding the order (they were very normal pizzas). After 15 minutes of repeating 6 pizzas, they still arrived with mistakes and missing ingredients.
We won't be back..

16/03/2025: Locale molto carino (scomodo trovare un parcheggio) , con menù tradizionale e alcune proposte di pesce.
Servizio veloce e cortese.
Abbiamo optato per alcuni piatti di pesce: antipasto in due , due secondi , acqua , 2 calici di prosecco e 1 sorbetto 90€ totali.
Porzioni abbondanti ma pietanze nella “norma” (i gamberi kataifi li ho trovati un po’ unti), mi aspettavo qualcosa di più .
06/03/2025: The appetizer tasting was expensive for the quantity.
Spaghetti with clams was decent, served in a shallow dish, all stuck together and crammed together.
Honestly, I remembered it better.

10/10/2025: As soon as I got take-out pizza, I get home and cut them, sit down at the table to eat and find a medium-long black hair in the pizza... Excellent!

07/12/2025: We went to Mavalà for an aperitivo. The food was good, as were the drinks. The quality/price ratio was good. The downside was the slow service.
23/11/2025: Birthday dinner!! There were 30 of us… first of all, the room where we were was a bit chilly… the service was a bit slow, but that was probably due to a lack of staff… the food, having agreed on a pre-established menu, consisted of a platter of cured meats, not too generous, and a second course of tortelli (five of them) and cappelletti with cream, also not too generous… in the end, we had 13 bottles of wine to toast the birthday boy, for a total of €41 per person… oh, I forgot, the birthday boy and girl brought the cake!!

I think it's fair to say that some unfortunate visitor, like myself, found themselves faced with this unpleasant surprise.
28/05/2025: My husband and I stopped by by chance on our way back from Guastalla and had a really good meal. The owner was very kind and attentive in the presentation of the dishes. Congratulations! 👏

08/11/2025: A small but excellent restaurant in Reggio Emilia's busiest square. The restaurant offers a traditional menu with some modern twists, all of which are of the highest quality. Highly recommended for dinners with friends or couples, but not for large gatherings. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, ready to help with choices and offer variations to meet guests' needs. Definitely worth a try.

18/12/2025: A place where kindness, friendliness, and good food blend seamlessly. Prices are absolutely family-friendly, and the atmosphere isn't particularly appealing logistically, but the people who work there make it a pleasant place. The coffee is among the three best I've ever had, after 40 years of dining and about 900 visits. Well done.
