11/05/2025: Thank goodness after several years the son and daughter of Gianni have returned to re open this culinary institution that for many years has served traditional Parmesan cuisine to the public. They have put their own modern twist on the restaurant together with the original recipes of their family on the menu such as fresh fish dishes and exquisite desserts and homemade ice cream. We opted for the traditional menu starting with very good quality mixed salumi, Parma Ham, coppa and Pancetta with torta fritta and pickles. Then Tortelli with ricotta and spinach, Anollini filled with Parmesan cheese In chicken broth and homemade Tagliatelle in a beef ragu all full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Mains we all had a selection of bolito misto from their trolley together with homemade salse which was delicious. Sweet we couldn’t say no to although we were bursting at the seems, homemade gelato with cherries steeped in alcohol. They have a very good selection of wines from all over, we opted for a very good bottle of fizzy Lambrusco and a dry sparkling Malvasia from the region, we finished with espresso and homemade barnolino and aged grappa. Perfect friendly service in a lovely warm restaurant. We will definitely be back and highly recommend if you are in the area!

Giovanni e la sua crew,sono davvero molto disponibili e gentilissimi Tutte le pietanze sono davvero gustose,ma le mie preferenze cadono sugli sgabei, sui testaroli e sul baccala' alla ligure. prosciutto crudo pazzesco!!

19/05/2025: Tutte le volte che ho voglia di mangiare piatti liguri fatti con amore e dedizione da parte dello chef Giovanni andiamo in questo piccolo locale ben arredato e gestito con amore dalla responsabile di sala , una signora tanto amorevole che con passione ti avvolgono in un’atmosfera molto serena. Siamo qui almeno una volta a settimana

19/02/2025: Ampio moderno luminoso e pulito locale sempre super affollato a due passi dal casello autostradale di Fidenza e non piu' di due km dall'Outlet, possibilita' di parcheggio non custodito nelle immediate vicinanze, consigliata la prenotazione. Ingredienti di qualita', tempi di attesa nella norma, piatti generosi ben cucinati ed impiattati, pizze ben farcite, primi e secondi squisiti ad alta digeribilita', tempi di attesa nella norma. Personale giovane sveglio e gentile, sorridente, professionale, attento alle esigenze di tutta la clientela. Buono il rapporto qualita'/prezzo.

20/05/2025: Exceptional food; three of us went and we all ordered different dishes to try a bit of everything and after hours I still can't decide which dish is the best. Appetizer, first course, second course and dessert, all fantastic. We didn't have the chance to try the whole menu because there are so many dishes on offer so I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in the area to try the other dishes!

21/05/2025: Perfect stop at Ristorante Bar Crociato! We tasted tigelle with local cured meats and excellent tagliatelle with ragù: everything was really good, tasty and served in generous portions. A place where you can feel the authentic flavor of Emilian cuisine. We will gladly return!

13/05/2025: Abbiamo scelto di pranzare in questo ristorante, sia per la sua posizione avanti alla rocca, sia per il piacevole aspetto esterno... e anche per l'iniziale cortesia del personale che ci ha ben impressionato. Scelta azzeccata! Ci siamo trovato molto bene. Antipasti e primi saporiti, ben preparati e ben cucinati... ed anche un po' abbondantini, nel pieno della tradizione emiliana sia come piatti che come porzioni, tant'è che siamo passati direttamente al dolce, il quale non si è smentito come gusto e qualità. Un posto che terremo presente.

06/01/2025: Very lovely family, and a wonderful selection of local products! We were able to taste anything we wanted, and they were very informative and patient. From my understanding, this has been a family owned store for over 60 years, but they said they may be closing in the next year. I will be back in the area in 5 months, and hope to stop by here again!

07/06/2025: The place is beautiful, the food is good, but the quantities are small and the dishes are too expensive. They brought us a pizza as big as the dessert plate and the ham they served us was the gambetto……and we are Langhirano.

24/05/2025: I'll start by saying that the food is very good. In total there were about thirty of us, including children and adults. The event, my daughter's communion. We started with an aperitif based on Spritz and appetizers at the buffet, continuing with an appetizer of excellent raw ham served with fried cake and bread and focaccia. Two first courses (maltagliati with culatello and ricotta ragù and a Giuseppe Verdi risotto, we continued with pork cheeks with roast potatoes and finished with a cake. Excellent red wines and a Malvasia that many appreciated. Price appropriate for what we tasted. Even if it is renowned for fish, this place is also excellent for meat. The owners and waiters are very kind. The only flaw (for the elderly and disabled) is a lift far from the entrance and a metal staircase that leads to the terrace where the restaurant is located. The terrace enjoys a pleasant view of the nearby hills.

11/05/2025: Abbiamo pranzato con amici durante un giro in moto. Eravamo in 7 ed è stata un’esperienza gastronomica meravigliosa per ognuno di noi. I piatti sono semplici e preparati al momento, praticamente tutto il menù è fatto in casa, dalla pasta fresca (eccelsa) ai dolci, che risultano anche particolari e ricercati. La qualità assolutamente ottima, si sente molto bene. Le due persone anziane dello staff (forse i titolari) sono meravigliose, spiegano chiaramente ogni piatto. Non aspettatevi di finire in quattro e quattr’otto, i tempi (comunque non eccessivi) rispettano la cucina genuina che viene fatta. Abbiamo fatto un pranzo leggermente “più lento” di quanto succede in altri posti, anche questo aspetto trasmette la bontà di questo locale. L’ambiente è molto semplice, vero, genuino,che sa di storia locale. Rapporto qualità prezzo superlativo. Detto molto chiaramente, qua si mangia benissimo. Complimenti, partiremo nuovamente da Genova e torneremo a trovarvi

09/05/2025: Abbiamo cenato in questa ostaria per la prima volta e devo dire che io e il mio compagno ci siamo trovati benissimo, abbiamo preso un antipasto con salumi misti e torta fritta, buonissima poi due primi di tortelli buonissimi anche loro, la torta ai frutti con il caramello la cosa più buona che io abbia mai mangiato, anche l’amaro fatto in casa era spettacolare. I padroni di casa sono stati molto accoglienti, spiegano tutto e sempre con il sorriso! Lo consiglio
