14/03/2026: Delicious tortellini and crescentine. A very welcoming, traditional mountain restaurant.

17/02/2026: The atmosphere is very welcoming and inviting, but both the food and service are subpar. I thought the mountainside restaurant was a safe bet, given the quality of the ingredients available, but apparently, this isn't Trattoria del Gallo's priority. A BIG PITY!

17/12/2025: I ordered a poke from Glovo. It was called "Oh Mega," but unfortunately, there wasn't much that was mega about it. It was regular, but it was four pieces of salmon with a forkful of seaweed and two tablespoons of edamame, all seasoned with half a bottle of soy sauce, which made it all incredibly salty. The total cost of the disaster was €10!!!

30/11/2025: Today my husband and I went to the center of Modena for the Tyrolean markets, and given the long lines at the food stands and the somewhat "heavy" food, we decided to eat here. It was an experience we'd definitely repeat. The food was good, fresh, and reasonably priced. The location inside is a shame; it's very small, with only two tables and stools, but it was very cold outside, and the tables didn't have heaters. Kudos to the young man who served us... kind, helpful, and very quick with his preparations, truly brilliant! Recommended for a casual but delicious meal.

01/03/2026: Now I understand why two pizzas cost €11.50. I was fooled by the positive reviews. The pizza is actually very thin, very small, and even burnt and dry. The one you see in the photo is a "baby" diavola (they couldn't have chosen a more fitting name) with the addition of chips (€1.50 for a handful). The only positive note is that they were very quick.

26/02/2026: I placed an order via the delivery app and was contacted again because they didn't have some ingredients. I said I wanted to cancel the order and boom, the lady, with a rudeness I'd never heard before, started telling me in dialect that it wasn't her problem and to look on the app to see what to do, because she wasn't interested. Never again! How can some people manage a restaurant?

10/11/2025: Vegetarian/vegan options are always available, including a pizza option. Friendly and efficient staff. The bar is on the ground floor, while the cafeteria is on the first floor. Convenient parking is available just steps away.

04/03/2026: I returned from "Momento 25" with mixed feelings. Let's start with the strong point: the food. The dishes show excellent potential, with well-rounded flavors and quality ingredients that are definitely worth a try. Personally, I'd expand the dessert menu, perhaps by bringing something with my coffee. For example, a simple sbrisolona cake costs €4... considering the number of guests, it's enough for a day. The service was also excellent: the staff were courteous, attentive, and ready to offer advice. Unfortunately, the only downside is the interior. The restaurant is located in a beautiful historic building in the center of Carpi, but the architectural potential seems almost wasted. The decor appears haphazard and inconsistent: between posters on the walls, Lego flowers, black sculptures, and a bookcase, the atmosphere feels a bit confusing and lacks a clear identity. The outdoor space is much more pleasant and well-kept, but unfortunately, it's unusable in the winter. The price is average and fair for the quality of the food.

18/01/2026: Let me start by saying that the only negative thing is the quality-price ratio. In terms of flavor, everything was very good, really! The staff were helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. However, considering the price paid at the end of the meal, I don't think it was exactly right... The portion sizes were really small, a bit too much for a main course, as was the case with my "Open-faced gratin squid with potatoes, mushrooms, and porcini mushroom powder." The selection of chocolate and biscuits was equally... well, quantitatively unsatisfactory. It's a shame, because in other respects, it was truly excellent.

30/12/2025: SUPERFICIAL... ORDERED A BIRTHDAY CAKE FOR MY CHILD, SPELLING OUT "BOY" AND SPELLING OUT THE "NAME", RESULT: RECEIVED A CAKE WITH A WRITTEN LETTER OF A BEAUTIFUL NAME OF "GIRL" WHICH HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT... THE BIRTHDAY GIRL IS VERY HAPPY AS WELL AS US.... HUH

19/12/2025: A lively and delightful little bar, always very popular, and for good reason. Sometimes you don't need anything fancy, just good food and someone who treats you kindly.

06/12/2025: Excellent homemade bread at this bakery. They have everything you need for a quick bite, and you can buy bread to eat on the go or at one of the small tables right there.

23/03/2026: I returned to this bar after giving it another chance, and they charged me a €2.50 surcharge just for sitting down to drink a coffee for two minutes before going to work. Absolutely absurd! I'll never set foot in there again!

02/11/2025: My family and I used to go there often for lunch before the change in management. We've been twice since, twice to make sure we hadn't, unfortunately, stumbled upon a bad day. The place is nice, but we once again weren't impressed with the quality of the food. The burger was tiny, thin, and dry, for one thing, and the food in general was just plain awful. Plus, the portions were absolutely tiny for the price. It's a shame, because it was a regular spot for us.

08/10/2025: Bad experience. I ordered homemade tortellini in capon broth. They brought supermarket tortellini in stock cube broth (inedible). I ordered tagliatelle with Bolognese sauce (also inedible), runny ragù, and sticky tagliatelle from the supermarket. For my main course, a roulade with tomato sauce and tough green beans (inedible). A quarter of a liter of Lambrusco on tap and a carafe of sparkling water. Cover charge. Total €38.50. Bad experience. Never again!!!

16/05/2025: Decent place, good pizza, fast and friendly, good quality/price ratio

09/04/2025: Nice environment, you can also eat in the pizzeria although the pizzeria is take-away, excellent service. Excellent pizzas, an infinite amount of types, the other dishes proposed by chef Alessandro are also good.
