28/03/2026: The food was amazing. Home made pasta, we had the ragu and mozarella and it was very tasty. The service was Italian but we enjoyed it. Definitely recommend.

11/03/2026: Me and my italian wife decided to find a place to eat on the 07th of March and we decided upon this restaurant since all tables were booked for the evening and it was a saturday night. The first thing we were greeted by was this older couple where the husband seemed to be more busy with watching a game show on tv and a woman who looked like her only task was to keep the restaurant free of guests. Keep in mind, we were also the only people in the restaurant at that given hour. That can mean one of two things; either this is a hidden gem or something that would be seen on Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen nightmares. Sad to say it was the last. To enhance the mood the radio was blasting an assorted selection of best of radio pop hits from the 80s so loud that a romantic conversation was out of the question. Once we got the menu I decided upon a rabbit's leg and my dear wife a schnitzel. My wife, who is Italian, asked if the schnitzel came with a side of potatoes. The women then (rather rudely) said that we can have it but it would be charged additionally. My wife commented that having just meat with no sides of potatoes or vegetables is strange.. The woman then exclaimed rather rudely; Yes, it only comes with the meat. The people of Austria would probably have a word with the lady for that remark. The food (please see picture provided) can only be classified as something a poor student who has just moved out of mom’s cozy home would make. The rabbit was served with a broth so tasteless that one might as well have boiled up tap water and used it as a sauce. Also not an amount of seasoning or as much as a vegetable in sight. The meat itself could only be classified in the same rage as biting into a cotton ball and tasted old and if they had frozen it and reheated it in a microwave. At least the server had mercy enough to recommend a Sangiovese wine for the food. It made digesting this culinary catastrophe easier on the tastebuds. The Schnitzel my wife got was about as tender as eating a shoelace. The whole soundtrack to this macabre eating experience was provided by a blaring radio which blasted the finest tunes of the 1980s and the old man who sat right behind me and coughed up snotballs the size of golfballs. If those people used them for making the broth, it would not astound me. And on that bombshell it was time to pay for a rabbit without vegetables, a schnitzel without vegetables, two glasses of sangiovese and a side of potatoes… (drum roll) They had the audacity to charge us 69 EUROS!!!!! (Sic!) I have never in my life written a review of a restaurant but this is the first time. Needless to say, STAY AWAY!!!

21/09/2025: The closed Telepass services for what I visited there

10/09/2025: They should keep the timetables updated on 8 different websites. The only Telepass point for dozens of kilometers. It was already closed at 6:15 PM despite the fact that it says it's open until 7:30 PM.

19/10/2025: We were passing through on our motorcycle and stopped at this restaurant: a wonderful discovery! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by three lovely ladies, the kind who make you feel right at home with your "good aunt." We started with delicious bruschetta—first with tomato and onion, then with the restaurant's complimentary sausage. Then came a truly excellent cold cuts platter, and delicious, crispy tigelle. The tagliatelle with mushrooms were simply sublime, perfectly cooked and flavorful. A genuine, welcoming place with cuisine that tastes of home and the mountains. I recommend calling before you go to check when they're open.

26/08/2025: We went to the shop at supposedly opening time, both according to Google's opening hours and those posted on the door. But when we arrived, everything was closed without any notice posted. When we called, the answer was that it was supposed to be open, that they didn't know why it was closed, and that they'd be there right away. However, they immediately corrected themselves, saying they couldn't make it and to come back tomorrow morning. A shame, because the meat here is very good, but the service isn't.

06/05/2026: Very sweet people who treat you with love, delicious pizza with an equally good dough. The pizzeria is a little old, like the Priority ones, but that's the secret to good food! They even gave us a little dessert without asking. Highly recommended and delicious. ❤️

05/05/2026: Let's say that the quality of the ingredients is what was enough in the 90s, but the prices are very current.

25/12/2025: TERRIBLE! I had a McCrunchy and half of it was burnt! I went to get it changed, and instead of changing it, they tampered with the one I'd already eaten, removing the burnt slice and putting another one on, making the sandwich smaller! Plus, they took away some fries! Terrible! Terrible service!

21/12/2025: I've been a regular customer for years now. Every time I go, I find a calm and cheerful atmosphere, but above all, clean and organized. I thank Mr. Fausto and Rhassia for their kindness and promptness!!!

17/05/2026: I rarely write negative reviews, but given the very high expectations I had for this place, I left feeling completely humiliated. First, we were told reservations weren't possible, only to return half an hour later and find a table marked "reserved." Despite the initial embarrassment, we decided to stay inside anyway because we were very curious to try the place. Unfortunately, the welcome didn't improve: the waiter who served us didn't even smile and answered every question in monosyllabic tones. The drinks were decent, but the general attitude ruined the atmosphere. The climax came when paying. Standing before the sign "No separate bills," we asked the owner for a favor, since we were a group of friends and it's always embarrassing to have to calculate every penny between us. The answer was a curt and cold "No, you can't," without a smile or even a word of apology. The place may be nice, but the owner's attitude—who acts very down-to-earth on social media, yet struggles to say hello in person—is definitely in need of some revision. I also remind restaurateurs that refusing to split the bill isn't exactly fair to customers. Modena is full of fantastic places that are truly worth it: avoid this place if you don't want to be treated condescendingly.

16/05/2026: It was my first day in Modena. Nice place, average drinks, terrible staff. They didn't let us reserve a table for aperitivo, but when we got there, the owners' "rich" friend had a table marked "reserved." During service, the waiter was extremely rude. Finally, if you're more than one person and want to split the bill, you can't do that; the owner won't allow it. Remember, this is 2026.

10/03/2026: Terrible service, endless waiting times for home delivery (1 hour and a half), unfortunately like many pizzerias they have the habit of giving times that they never respect so there is no point in misleading people.

08/03/2026: You order a pizza for home delivery and it's delivered in 1.5 minutes, you order it for takeout and they wait for it to arrive to inform you, the pizza is raw, while you wait they were talking badly about you!! I'm speechless.

24/03/2026: I really liked it, typical cuisine with a Tuscan touch, kind and helpful staff

11/03/2026: I definitely won't be returning, not so much for the quality of the food—the pizza would be good—but for the truly unbreathable air inside the restaurant's upstairs dining room. It was almost impossible to breathe from the smoke and humidity, not to mention the odors that settled on our clothes and hair. They should rethink the ventilation system, especially the kitchen exhaust system!

17/12/2025: It's wonderful here, and the food is delicious! It'll be our hangout for the film "Stars Against Bullying," which we're shooting in Modena, because a chef and owner like Piero and his entire crew are unheard of!

24/01/2026: I just left the place, my experience leaving here was terrible since I am a homosexual Moroccan I felt a lot of stares from the staff because of my situation I would not go back, the piadina with raw ham was old to say, I do not recommend this place.

01/01/2026: A small, empty, and sad piadina for four euros. Probably more enjoyable as an aperitif. A far cry from the tourist traps.

22/09/2025: An espresso made with the leftovers from the grinder, brushed together and placed in the espresso group, hasn't happened to me in years. And, what's more, right in front of us, as if it were normal. If I could, I'd give it zero stars. Terrible.

30/11/2025: Unfortunately, every now and then you come across places like this that manage to bump into you even for a couple of simple teas. The staff always makes the difference.

21/01/2026: Only panini and tigelle were available, but they were very good. The dessert and bombardini were excellent. The cashier wasn't very friendly, but the sandwich barista was courteous and professional.
