20/06/2025: We went to this place for the first time, we ordered the courgette flowers, they were all pasta and little flower, without mozzarella and anchovies like they do in Rome, the carbonara left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth that I couldn't finish, the tonnarelli, they took them by mistake to another table, then once they recovered them they gave them to us, by now lukewarm, poor organization, given the experience with the first courses, we didn't want to order anything else, I had high expectations but I was very disappointed.

15/05/2025: We had dinner with friends, the fried food was delicious and not greasy, the appetizer was a flask with lots of excellent ingredients, the cacio e pepe, gnocchi alla Gricia and amatriciana, all excellent, we will gladly return and I recommend it.

02/06/2026: Today, June 2, 2026, I stopped for breakfast with my partner. We ordered two coffees, a tart with dried fruit, and a slice of strudel. The dessert plates were chipped in several places. I asked for a replacement plate, because it was unsuitable. The coffee seemed to be made with sea water, undrinkable! Total €9.40. When it was time to leave, we thanked each other and said good morning. All the clerks pretended not to hear, looking away. I'll never go back! Goodbye

30/12/2025: SUPERFICIAL... ORDERED A BIRTHDAY CAKE FOR MY CHILD, SPELLING OUT "BOY" AND SPELLING OUT THE "NAME", RESULT: RECEIVED A CAKE WITH A WRITTEN LETTER OF A BEAUTIFUL NAME OF "GIRL" WHICH HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT... THE BIRTHDAY GIRL IS VERY HAPPY AS WELL AS US.... HUH

19/12/2025: A lively and delightful little bar, always very popular, and for good reason. Sometimes you don't need anything fancy, just good food and someone who treats you kindly.

15/06/2026: Antonina is just the best! Funny, full of love and patient with her students. The one on one pasta class was amazing and just the cherry on top for my whole trip. I will never forget that experience. 4 hours of pasta making in different shapes and with different filling and everything from scratch. Loved it! I hope to come by again and learn more!

06/04/2026: Tortellini, I have to say, are pretty poor. The highest price ever: €50 per kilo. You fool customers with the story of excellent, locally sourced ingredients, as if you're the only ones who do that. But get over it: you're not the only ones, and above all, you're not the best. Regarding the supposed dissatisfactions in my life, you demonstrate a judgmental superficiality that speaks for itself. See you never again.

17/02/2026: The atmosphere is very welcoming and inviting, but both the food and service are subpar. I thought the mountainside restaurant was a safe bet, given the quality of the ingredients available, but apparently, this isn't Trattoria del Gallo's priority. A BIG PITY!

04/03/2026: I returned from "Momento 25" with mixed feelings. Let's start with the strong point: the food. The dishes show excellent potential, with well-rounded flavors and quality ingredients that are definitely worth a try. Personally, I'd expand the dessert menu, perhaps by bringing something with my coffee. For example, a simple sbrisolona cake costs €4... considering the number of guests, it's enough for a day. The service was also excellent: the staff were courteous, attentive, and ready to offer advice. Unfortunately, the only downside is the interior. The restaurant is located in a beautiful historic building in the center of Carpi, but the architectural potential seems almost wasted. The decor appears haphazard and inconsistent: between posters on the walls, Lego flowers, black sculptures, and a bookcase, the atmosphere feels a bit confusing and lacks a clear identity. The outdoor space is much more pleasant and well-kept, but unfortunately, it's unusable in the winter. The price is average and fair for the quality of the food.

18/01/2026: Let me start by saying that the only negative thing is the quality-price ratio. In terms of flavor, everything was very good, really! The staff were helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. However, considering the price paid at the end of the meal, I don't think it was exactly right... The portion sizes were really small, a bit too much for a main course, as was the case with my "Open-faced gratin squid with potatoes, mushrooms, and porcini mushroom powder." The selection of chocolate and biscuits was equally... well, quantitatively unsatisfactory. It's a shame, because in other respects, it was truly excellent.

16/04/2026: After many years, we returned to this pub. It was a pleasant dip into the past. The square pizza remains a classic. The burgers are delicious, and the beer selection is excellent.

26/06/2026: Terrible luggage storage service, I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone! When we stored our luggage here, no staff informed us of the strict rule that bags could only be collected after 2:30 PM. Our travel plans suddenly changed and we had an urgent flight to catch, so we politely asked to retrieve our luggage in advance. Our bags were just casually left unsecured in the back kitchen without any locked lockers, meaning there were no safety or facility restrictions at all. However, a young blonde white female staff member was very unaccommodating. She rigidly refused our request simply by quoting the store's rules and showed no sympathy for our emergency flight situation. It is a major dereliction of duty not to inform guests of the mandatory pick-up time before storing luggage. The staff cannot deal with unexpected emergencies flexibly and ignored our urgent reasonable request, which brought huge trouble to our trip. The overall experience is absolutely awful, and I will never come back. Tourists who need to catch flights should avoid this restaurant at all costs. Terrible luggage storage service, I would strongly advise against this restaurant! Failing to inform customers of the mandatory collection time before dropping off is grossly negligent. The staff lacks the flexibility to handle unexpected situations and ignored our legitimate, urgent request, causing significant disruption to our trip. The overall experience was terrible; I will never return. Tourists who have a flight to catch should definitely avoid this place.

28/05/2026: I left my backpack there, since they offer that service, and a shirt has gone missing. It's the only place I've lost track of it. Besides, when we went to pick up my backpack, we ate there, and the food was awful—a pasta dish that you wouldn't even find in a school cafeteria. HORRIBLE.

26/12/2025: It may seem absurd, but in this Chinese bar, I found one of the best quality coffees in the area, and believe me, as a Local Guide, I know a thing or two about coffee. I don't care how the place looks, just as I don't care about other aspects of this place that I don't want to judge. In a bar, coffee, one of the products we Italians love, is either good or it isn't. I've drank coffee in other bars, where I've wondered if they've ever tasted it before serving it...so kudos to them. I waited a while before reviewing it, to see if the quality was consistent, and I have to admit, the quality of the coffee is always the same.

17/07/2026: The lady who serves you has no common sense, talks on the phone on speaker while taking orders, goes out for a cigarette, smokes in front of customers, returns to take orders without washing her hands. Total nonsense, I will not be coming back
