06/12/2025: Excellent homemade bread at this bakery. They have everything you need for a quick bite, and you can buy bread to eat on the go or at one of the small tables right there.

30/03/2026: Stunning setting, underwhelming atmosphere The location is truly a dream – visually, the bar definitely rivals La Scala in Milan. The drinks were also excellent: the hot chocolate was top-notch, and the Negroni hit the perfect note. Unfortunately, the staff seems to take the philosophy of "smiling is overrated" very seriously. We weren't even glanced at; we felt more like extras backstage than guests. Perhaps facial expressions simply aren't part of the show here. It's a shame, because the place is beautiful. If you want excellent drinks in a great atmosphere and can do without genuine human warmth, this is the place for you. Unfortunately, the service didn't quite deliver that true "O Sole Mio" feeling.

28/03/2026: Let's boycott bars that charge more for macchiato than regular coffee. We haven't noticed the difference, though...

26/11/2025: I received a cold, dry burger with rubbery fries. I politely asked for a refill, and it actually improved slightly. At least it was warm, and the guy was very friendly. However, the quality isn't up to the franchise standards. Edit: I returned after a year, and it seems to have gotten worse. The place is incredibly dirty, tables full of crumbs and papers. I've never experienced such slow service. A guy who'd been there since I arrived received his order after I'd already finished mine. Looking into the kitchen, I see a mess on the countertops, full of fries on the floor, and receipts and papers on the equally dirty service counter. I won't be returning.

17/11/2025: The cashier service was slow. The bathrooms were dirty, and the kids' area was a bit chaotic, but that's understandable given the restaurant's modest size.

27/11/2025: The room is very spacious, the bed comfortable, the bathroom very small but complete. It's not very soundproof, but overall we had a good stay. The front desk was always available and punctual. Breakfast absolutely needs a thorough overhaul. On Saturday morning, there were more guests than seats, a tiny buffet, and the staff were constantly struggling. The room had chairs piled up haphazardly and tables stacked on top of each other. Overall, the facility is adequate, convenient because it's about ten minutes from the fairgrounds.

01/07/2026: 7/26 I keep coming here and always find it very good. Plus, they have great air conditioning. At the Mc Drive-Thru, things are always quick. You get your order in a few minutes and can go eat it wherever you want. When I'm in Sassuolo, I often stop by and get an Mc Drive-Thru menu. The quality is good, and the staff are professional. I recommend 5/23 Even on a diet, you can't pass up a Mc Drive-Thru sandwich. My Selection BBQ is the best for me.

02/11/2025: My family and I used to go there often for lunch before the change in management. We've been twice since, twice to make sure we hadn't, unfortunately, stumbled upon a bad day. The place is nice, but we once again weren't impressed with the quality of the food. The burger was tiny, thin, and dry, for one thing, and the food in general was just plain awful. Plus, the portions were absolutely tiny for the price. It's a shame, because it was a regular spot for us.

08/10/2025: Bad experience. I ordered homemade tortellini in capon broth. They brought supermarket tortellini in stock cube broth (inedible). I ordered tagliatelle with Bolognese sauce (also inedible), runny ragù, and sticky tagliatelle from the supermarket. For my main course, a roulade with tomato sauce and tough green beans (inedible). A quarter of a liter of Lambrusco on tap and a carafe of sparkling water. Cover charge. Total €38.50. Bad experience. Never again!!!

05/02/2026: I wanted to go to breakfast, but the sign outside saying "cash only" made me go elsewhere.

06/11/2025: The signs outside, clearly visible to potential customers (and perhaps even the Guardia di Finanza), are interesting. They read "NO PAYMENT BY POS" and "NO ELECTRONIC PAYMENTS." A quick reminder: offering card payment is a legal requirement, but at Bar Fragola Corta, this concept seems to be happily (probably with impunity) ignored.

23/09/2025: Very friendly owner. The café is centrally located, right on the roundabout with the large Ferrari horse in the middle. Free parking is available. The cappuccino is excellent!

16/07/2026: First time in Modena, for the Moby concert While wandering around the historic center, this place catches our eye. The outdoor terrace is almost full, but we prefer to sit inside. A beautiful interior, with just a few tables, furnished with style, heart, and soul. It's clear that every detail has been chosen and placed with the utmost care and certainly has its place. When we ask to be seated, the lady tries to discourage us, warning that the wait will be "biblical," but since we're in no rush, we decide to take the risk. The wait is more than reasonable, the menu is very interesting, and after the mains, our request is fulfilled in a timely manner. Everything is very good and original, very good service, and highly recommended. P.S. I only read the reviews afterward; those who left negative reviews simply don't understand the true spirit of this place: "The customer is right when they're right, not always."

15/07/2026: Yesterday we came to Modena for the Moby concert, and before the concert, we stopped at this place for a bite to eat. We ordered gin and tonics, two portions of salmon that simply tasted like pre-packaged marinated salmon, accompanied by some salad (which was also very acidic), and a lasagna that unfortunately tasted like a pre-packaged, reheated dish. The experience was truly disappointing. 🥲 We had come to Modena wanting to try something good, perhaps some local specialties, but unfortunately we chose the wrong place. The three of us spent 99 euros. Considering the quality of what we ate, I personally find the value for money really terrible. It's a shame, because we were expecting a completely different experience. 🥲
