The staff was extremely courteous.
The pizzas are good, but they need a little work (mine had a layer of water in the toppings when it was delivered to my table).

11/03/2026: The bar changed ownership some time ago, and the name BAR Sonia was added to the previous name, Frenesia. The new owners, along with the old owner, have settled in perfectly, and the quality and quantity of the products have remained unchanged. Of course, the kitchen also offers traditional Chinese dishes. I had a great time.
19/02/2026: Frenesia no longer exists, the place is now called Bar Sonia

23/12/2025: One of the last trattorias in the area. Traditional menu with excellent value. The lady who runs it is a phenomenon...she's everywhere from the bar to the kitchen and serves in the dining room. Recommended: informal but basic atmosphere.
08/12/2025: An inn from another era, where time seems to have stood still. We ate wonderfully; the menu isn't extensive, but the dishes are traditional and truly excellent and plentiful. Not to be missed.

07/06/2026: A lovely trattoria/pizzeria near the center of Pievepelago with a good selection of traditional and classic dishes from our Apennines. The dishes we chose were excellent. The staff is kind and friendly, although they lack a smile, which is usually appreciated by customers. Average value for money.

18/10/2025: How could I not recommend this place? We stopped by this afternoon, looking for a sandwich, and we weren't disappointed—quite the opposite, in fact. The owners are lovely, and the sandwiches are made with love and quality!
If I ever come back to Rome, I'll definitely stop by again 🤩

Zero quality and limited selection, especially of Japanese dishes.
Horrible place, smelly and dirty.
Prices too high for the quality offered.
Totally disliked.
11/04/2026: The meals weren't fresh, and the pre-cooked food was cold, and it didn't seem to have been cooked that day.
The quality was absolutely zero, and the selection was limited. They didn't restock the buffet; you had to order and wait.
There was little order in that place, and it seemed dirty, especially near the kitchen! PRICES ARE OUTSTANDING.
I won't be back!

19/02/2026: We went for dinner on Valentine's Day, and the food was divine! Even though the place was packed, they managed to create an intimate and very pleasant atmosphere. The staff was also excellent: friendly and knowledgeable. It's certainly more expensive than other restaurants (I would have avoided the price increase on the menu for Valentine's Day, which they informed us of beforehand), but the food is excellent quality and well-cooked, making it totally worth it.
