22/08/2026: It was Saturday night, but there wasn't much going on. I asked for a craft beer as written on the menu, "ask." They weren't available. A Paulaner red? Sold out. Okay, a Coke and three pizzas. After 50 minutes, "Excuse me, the pizzas?" "I can hear it now..." After 5 minutes, they arrived. Low, cooked quite well. Bottom line: if it takes time, I would have appreciated being warned. See you next time?

22/08/2026: Dirty place, 40 minutes to serve 3 pizzas, customers arriving later were served first, some pizzas were burnt, others were raw. When it came time to pay the bill, they didn't know how to split it between two families.

02/05/2026: A traditional inn run by a lady who makes homemade gnocco fritto and tigelle. She's friendly and always ready to offer advice. Everything is delicious!

11/07/2025: Il posto e’ molto bello , in piazza Mazzini proprio accanto la sinagoga , ampio spazio all’esterno … molto ben sfruttato e arredamento bello con molto carattere all’interno , anche i bagni sono talmente belli che meritano una visita. Il locale e’ frequentato da locali ma soprattutto da tanti turisti. Il menu’ comprende i piatti della ricca cucina locale ma anche altre offerte di cucina nazionale. Ho ordinato un tagliere medio di affettati serviti con il classico gnocco fritto locale , a seguire un appetitoso piatto di gramigna con ragù di panna e salsiccia. Ottima la qualità degli affettati, un po’ troppo unto per i miei gusto lo gnocco fritto, perfetta la gramigna … avrei fatto volentieri il bis. Molto gentile e professionale il personale di servizio. Conto non proprio economico , ma naturalmente risente della posizione privilegiata.

27/06/2025: A Modena per un concerto a Campovolo cerchiamo un ristorante per pranzare e un sabato e ci rispondono subito che c'è posto per 5 Ci accomodiamo fuori, pensavo facesse caldo ma i tavoli erano ben posizionati.Ordiniamo 5 piatti diversi tra loro e vengono portati insieme (presumo che qualcosa era precotto) comunque tutto buono,servizio cortese e il prezzo nella norma

17/06/2026: Change of management. The quality has gone downhill, but it's still a nice, comfortable bar with plenty of space inside and an outdoor area for hardened smokers.

12/03/2026: Clean bar and always good selections. The prosciutto they use for their sandwiches is excellent! Managed by a highly efficient and friendly Chinese husband and wife team.

08/01/2026: The tortellini in broth were delicious. The cod fritters were excellent.

21/12/2025: Mutina Camper Club's holiday lunch, 80 people. The service was excellent, exceptional, with young waiters... expertly trained. Tortellini were very good, small, cooked to perfection. The risotto would have been good, but the Macon was too tough, and the rice wasn't the right choice. Roast pork, two slices, was insignificant, and the picanha, even in tiny slices, wasn't the best. The potatoes were good on the side. Dessert was industrial. These lunches are always a bit strange because they haggle over the price and then you see the consequences, with seconds being handed out in dribs and drabs. In any case, the restaurant responded well to the crowds.

16/08/2026: Was staying in italy for 5 days, eating pizzas everyday. Ant this one was the best one! Simple, chezzy, crusty. damn. And very welcoming owner!

16/08/2026: Look, we're only giving one star because we can't give it any less. Inedible pizza, tasteless broccoli rabe that felt like paper, salty fries that will make me hypertensive, pizzas that are so thin and crispy they look like crackers. I don't know what else to say... I'll definitely never go back.

01/01/2026: Company dinner with a pre-arranged menu. The tigelle with gnocco were excellent. I didn't find any flavor punch in the traditional first courses. I think you could be more adventurous.

20/12/2025: Restaurant La Corte (English) Restaurant La Corte is a cozy and welcoming place with friendly service and well‑prepared dishes. The food is fresh, the portions are good, and the prices are reasonable. A nice spot for a simple, enjoyable meal.

28/06/2026: Absolutely not, the pizza was quite good but burnt and the service was very poor. The girl had answered the phone with a customer and started arguing with the people who were eating in the restaurant. They are very rude even on the phone.

22/05/2026: I had lunch today at a cheaper price, since I'm a worker. The food was very good and plentiful. The vegetable risotto was very good. I asked for the main course to be taken away, and they even gave me bread. Thank you very much.

12/04/2026: The entrance is opposite the LEONE with the beer... so there's ample parking, wheelchair accessible, and a very spacious entrance hall. To get to the restrooms, I took the stairs, also crossing the room with the billiards table and the children's play area, so I don't know if there was an elevator. Another room upstairs.... lots of people, but overall not too chaotic. The goulash was amazing, the meats cooked to perfection, even the tagliata or entrecote.... The white and red sauerkraut were sublime, as were the various sauces. The atmosphere was young, but very pleasant even for me, over 50!

03/04/2026: I've been calling non-stop for a week now, no one ever answers. Last night at 8pm I managed to wait for 30 minutes and get no response. It's obvious they don't want customers. The website doesn't allow reservations (it says the tables are sold out on Tuesday evenings two weeks ahead - impossible).

08/06/2026: They deliver portioned dishes to the company where I work. The portions are more than adequate, and the quality/price ratio is definitely good. The variety of choices also satisfies everyone.

24/07/2026: We tried the new management of the San Polo farmhouse and, unfortunately, we confirm the negative reviews we've had previously. The food quality isn't nearly as good as the previous one, and the price is very high. The tagliatelle with meat sauce were decent, but it was a shame the pasta was overcooked. The tortelloni were watered down and lacked flavor. The cured meats were good and of high quality. The blonde lady who welcomed us was unfriendly and quite annoyed. We haven't seen the previous identity again. I'd focus more on youth events like aperitifs. No catering. From 1 to 10, total rating: 5.

28/06/2026: In the beautiful setting of the Castelvetro hills, I ate at the San Polo farmhouse restaurant. The fixed-price menu (the only option) was comprehensive and in the Modena tradition. The tagliatelle with meat sauce were excellent, the tortellini were full and firm, with excellent vegetables, the fried gnocco and tasty tigelle, and the cured meats were delicious and flavorful. A variety of traditional desserts were served alongside. Not a wide selection of wines. All in all, a great experience. The young but talented team, the kitchen was quick, and the service was very friendly. I would also suggest the option of a half-menu for those who want to eat less. You can also take away what you don't eat. Well done.

13/07/2026: Very nice and traditional. The staff is very kind and friendly, and the prices were really fair and reasonable. As an Italian living in Germany, I can say it's just like being at Grandma's. I can recommend it to everyone and will definitely eat here again if I visit Maranello again.
