22/06/2025: I say only for the service and hospitality of the customer that is what matters most zero my daughter only wanted 2 plastic cups with a little ice and the owner a middle-aged man said: no why do you always want a plastic cup that I pay for" But excuse me how much do 2 plastic cups with a little ice cost? they can't drink alcohol I can't have it? My daughters said but I'll pay you HE ALL ARROGANT: But go go who pays for a plastic cup" exactly who pays for a plastic cup after they went to a shed since there was a party at the Estense finale and GUESS they generously gave it to him Saying but go imagine here you go. 11/07/2025: Il posto e’ molto bello , in piazza Mazzini proprio accanto la sinagoga , ampio spazio all’esterno … molto ben sfruttato e arredamento bello con molto carattere all’interno , anche i bagni sono talmente belli che meritano una visita. Il locale e’ frequentato da locali ma soprattutto da tanti turisti. Il menu’ comprende i piatti della ricca cucina locale ma anche altre offerte di cucina nazionale. Ho ordinato un tagliere medio di affettati serviti con il classico gnocco fritto locale , a seguire un appetitoso piatto di gramigna con ragù di panna e salsiccia. Ottima la qualità degli affettati, un po’ troppo unto per i miei gusto lo gnocco fritto, perfetta la gramigna … avrei fatto volentieri il bis. Molto gentile e professionale il personale di servizio. Conto non proprio economico , ma naturalmente risente della posizione privilegiata.

27/06/2025: A Modena per un concerto a Campovolo cerchiamo un ristorante per pranzare e un sabato e ci rispondono subito che c'è posto per 5 Ci accomodiamo fuori, pensavo facesse caldo ma i tavoli erano ben posizionati.Ordiniamo 5 piatti diversi tra loro e vengono portati insieme (presumo che qualcosa era precotto) comunque tutto buono,servizio cortese e il prezzo nella norma

26/10/2025: The first courses and tigelle are quite good, but the gnocchi and cold cuts aren't quite up to scratch. The location is very dated, so we're not happy with it.

07/10/2025: Everything was delicious, from the first to the second courses, all homemade. The fried gnocchi and the "affati" were excellent, and the tigelle were delicious. Beautiful location. Recommended.

17/11/2025: I was in Castel d'Aiano many years ago as a teacher. I lived in a flat near the village pharmacist. I remember Roberta, the daughter of the bar owners. Wonderful years, good people. The village priest was Father Luigi. We suffered from the cold because, being Calabrians, we weren't used to that climate. I took the bus early in the morning because some days I also taught in Vergato. I then moved to Rome. I wonder if anyone remembers me (I lived with my sister). I would be very happy if someone could remember us.

23/10/2025: The bar is nice, with two outdoor areas, but it almost feels like a nuisance when you go in the afternoon. The bartender doesn't smile and barely says hello. The prices are incredibly high for Castel d'Aiano. €1.50 for a croissant, a pre-baked one at that, seems excessive.

10/11/2025: This restaurant is a true gem in Emilia, serving traditional cuisine, with dishes rich in authentic and natural flavors, just like grandma or grandpa used to make. The atmosphere is welcoming, and they treat you like family, always available and present. It's perfect for both intimate dinners and large groups, and will make you want to return time and time again. The homemade pasta is a must-try.

19/10/2025: Very nice bar in the square. The staff and food are good.

06/08/2025: The first place where to go after wake up. We had a deal for breakfast from nearby hotel. Service, coffee and meals were better than good. We met there lot of locals in the morning.
