15/08/2025: I gave a gift certificate (for two dinners) to this restaurant, which I'd visited several times and always found to be excellent. The owner, Rossella (Rosa Lafronza), also always seemed very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, three months after the gift, the restaurant closed permanently, and upon my request, Rossella very hastily informed me that she couldn't refund the certificate in any way, given the closure; not even privately. Clearly, some doubts arise, given the proximity of the voucher and the closure. It would have been more appropriate not to provide the vouchers, in my opinion, or to advise people to use them as soon as possible. Instead, the money (€80) was taken, without giving them the opportunity to use it and without even offering a private refund. It's a shame, the experience ruins a fond memory of a special restaurant and a seemingly honest person.

24/03/2025: Credo che questo locale sia sottovalutato forse a causa dei prezzi troppo alti un pasticciotto 5 € è follia o un semplice caffe leccese a 3 €. I piatti sono ben preparati con ottimi ingredienti. Ma la vera "perla" sono le combinazioni che finalmente non sono BANALI. Ho trovato locali dove la parola Salento veniva associato a polpo e buratta dove le combinazioni erano le più disperate solo per attirare l'occhio sul menù. Qui tutto questo non accade è già solo questo è un punto in più. Rivedrei il menù perché a mio avviso è un po' povero di piatti e rivedrei un po' i prezzi. Ma per il resto io ci tornerei.

09/01/2026: Terrible, we asked the guy for an aperitif, he brought us drinks and after a while, seeing that nothing else was arriving, we went to ask for something to eat and he told us that there was nothing to eat!

22/08/2025: Very well stocked bar for breakfast, snacks, lunches, etc. Always fresh products made daily by them. Very clean environment, excellent staff, very helpful.

02/04/2026: I've been eating there for six years, and I've never had a complaint. But today, there were two of us. We ordered a few things to eat, and we were served by six tables that arrived after us, while we'd been waiting an hour for our food. For the ravioli and cooked dishes, they told me I was in line, just to say, "Wait and see!"... while they were bringing truckloads of ravioli and cooked dishes to the others. After today, we'll never go back.

24/12/2025: Christmas Eve fried food, terrible. Tastes like a sham!

24/12/2025: Today I bought some Christmas Eve, a good fried fish, fried well, excellent octopus with potatoes... so far it can even cost 26 euros, when it's good it's good! I also bought 1kg of veraci... I'm asking 29 euros!!!!!!!! but they are real thieves!! Quadruple the price!!!!

08/04/2026: My boyfriend and I went here yesterday for a day trip. We were immediately greeted with a smile and were very pleased with both the food and the service! The owner was super helpful and very kind!

06/04/2026: We were greeted very kindly and served promptly and courteously. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. A positive experience, but it's best to book.

11/07/2025: Il posto e’ molto bello , in piazza Mazzini proprio accanto la sinagoga , ampio spazio all’esterno … molto ben sfruttato e arredamento bello con molto carattere all’interno , anche i bagni sono talmente belli che meritano una visita. Il locale e’ frequentato da locali ma soprattutto da tanti turisti. Il menu’ comprende i piatti della ricca cucina locale ma anche altre offerte di cucina nazionale. Ho ordinato un tagliere medio di affettati serviti con il classico gnocco fritto locale , a seguire un appetitoso piatto di gramigna con ragù di panna e salsiccia. Ottima la qualità degli affettati, un po’ troppo unto per i miei gusto lo gnocco fritto, perfetta la gramigna … avrei fatto volentieri il bis. Molto gentile e professionale il personale di servizio. Conto non proprio economico , ma naturalmente risente della posizione privilegiata.

27/06/2025: A Modena per un concerto a Campovolo cerchiamo un ristorante per pranzare e un sabato e ci rispondono subito che c'è posto per 5 Ci accomodiamo fuori, pensavo facesse caldo ma i tavoli erano ben posizionati.Ordiniamo 5 piatti diversi tra loro e vengono portati insieme (presumo che qualcosa era precotto) comunque tutto buono,servizio cortese e il prezzo nella norma

21/03/2026: We stopped here today for lunch. Very nice and well-kept place. Very clean. Excellent and fast service. Warm and welcoming atmosphere, they make you feel at home. Everything was very well-balanced. We had the gnocco and tigelle menu and everything was delicious. Very generous portions. The price was right. We'll definitely be back. Thank you all.

02/05/2026: Nothing to say about the food. But I gave the service one star because something happened that I didn't like at all, to say the least (aside from the fact that the owner has always been seen as intrusive, but that's another story). Today I had lunch there with my girlfriend, and at the cash register, while she was busy paying the bill, the owner blurted out the unfortunate comment: "Think about it," clearly implying that it was absurd to him that a woman should be the one paying. Not wanting to delve into the evolutionary/cultural state of his country, I personally found it offensive to all women and to what we've managed to normalize with considerable difficulty in our country in 2026. And to top it all off, when he handed us two fortune cookies, he first addressed me, saying "the man" with a sarcastic sneer that I found very unpleasant. Now, without commenting on the spot or making a scene worthy of anything but what our country can boast in terms of evolution (from which it seems the owner distances himself), I will limit myself to changing venues, with the bitter taste in my mouth of the disappointment this place left me.

19/03/2026: Returned after years, always a guarantee. Traditional food, good and plentiful, lower bill than many other restaurants. Excellent.

15/03/2026: A very classic, traditional restaurant. Spacious and suitable for large groups, the portions are generous and the quality is good. The dishes are classic, such as tortelloni, tagliatelle, crescentine, etc., especially the borlenghi, which are quite good. The dough was a bit thick and the sauce was quite salty; if it were a little less salty, we would eat a few more. The prices are reasonable.

08/11/2025: Just returned from a motorcycle ride in the Modena Apennines. We're looking for a restaurant near Montefiorino. Lucenti!!! We've heard of it but never been there... well!! Amazing!!! If you like truffles, homemade pasta, and fried polenta, you've come to the right place! Excellent wines, even by the glass. We'll be back soon! Congratulations!

02/11/2025: It offers you truffle dishes, but with little flavour, good wines but super exaggerated prices, no comment!

13/04/2026: The atmosphere and service are good, but the food is overrated, lacking in authenticity, and overly sloppy with sauce and mayo. The noodles are Saikebon or instant noodles; I've ordered them several times and the same embarrassment has happened. There are too many fusion dishes like the tacos; in my opinion, Zushi is a mess with no quality or identity. Plus, the last few times I've ordered from them, I've always felt sick, and I think it's the rice's fault, but I can't stomach Zushi (whether cooked or raw), so I've stopped going. It's also expensive for a bad meal.

13/04/2026: A lovely and very intimate place, perfect for a quiet dinner. The sushi was overall good, but the presentation was poor. Not everything lived up to expectations: the nigiri rice, for example, was a bit overcooked, slightly compromising the balance of the dish. It was also a shame about the coffee, which completely ruined the evening's finale: probably the worst I've had in years. It's truly a shame that there are still restaurants where the food is reasonably good, but the meal is marred by subpar, or even mediocre, coffee.
