15/02/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant for the first time and it was a wonderful discovery. Food with high quality raw materials and dishes that enhance the flavours. The staff were friendly and helpful.

06/02/2025: Mediocre atmosphere and food, perhaps in summer the atmosphere in the internal courtyard is more pleasant. Friendly staff, but a stool for the ladies' bags was not offered. 23 minutes of waiting between starter and first course is too long. Catalan cream served in a first course with a huge quantity. Mango sorbet consisted of a huge tasteless ball of some sort of ice cream. Glass of wine with quantity much less than average and normal.

22/07/2025: The food is excellent. The service is unique, requiring you to pre-order via a computer. It's an all-you-can-eat restaurant, and the prices are moderately high, but the quality is really good. Some portions can only be ordered once (e.g., sashimi) or twice. Some are generous (e.g., some maki, which only come in the 8-piece version). Service is fast, except on some busy nights. The restaurant is very spacious and comfortable. Overall, an excellent rating, given the food is good and the convenient ordering process.

29/05/2025: New management and great experience!!! Young guys but with a craft and desire to do!!! Not the usual 3 pre-war sandwiches but a wide range of products, even refined ones! Congratulations!!! Recommended!!!

07/06/2025: I have been going to Sushi 1688 for years and I can say, without exaggeration, that it is one of the best all you can eat in Emilia, especially for the quality of the fish. The raw salmon is always very fresh, soft and tasty, really a cut above the average, especially considering that we are talking about an inexpensive place. Another strong point is the perfect balance of flavors: never flat and never excessive. I really appreciate the moderate use of rice - a rare thing in AYCE - and the care with which the rolls are prepared, often enriched with toasted sesame seeds that add a crunchy and aromatic note. The salads and hot dishes are also excellent. The service is always quick and, even when some dishes do not arrive with Swiss precision, the staff is kind, helpful and ready to make up for it with a smile. The location does not focus on the wow effect, but it is bright, clean and with comfortable seats. The aquarium adds a relaxing touch and the bathrooms – often neglected elsewhere – here are always impeccable: spacious and very clean. Sushi 1688 is the right place for those looking for substance and quality, without getting lost in the “Instagram” frills. You come here to eat well, and you eat really well. In at least fifty visits, never a problem: neither stomach nor anything else. Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy excellent sushi, in a simple but welcoming environment, with a quality-price ratio that few can offer.

10/08/2025: We had a pizza menu with drinks for 25 euros, we took 4 cocktails off the menu and some friends were charged 25 euros and others 37, justifying themselves by the fact that some had taken cocktails and others not... unclear price... very unclear

27/08/2025: Nice restaurant, especially the exterior, and the food was pretty good, but nothing particularly impressive, just average. One piece of advice: please be more careful about cleaning the restaurant entrance, where we noticed cobwebs and spiders near a table, but that can happen given the fact that it's a farmhouse in the countryside.

06/07/2025: lost in the hills of the Modena Apennines, a beautiful genuine agriturismo, where you can eat traditional Emilian food as it once was (tasty and at honest prices) immersed in nature. Honorable mention the fresh pasta evidently homemade by hand.
