The food was delicious. I recommend trying the famous local dishes. Modena is known for Parmesano Regiano and Balsamic.

A downtown restaurant that respects tradition. We ate gnocco fritto and tigelle with cured meats and cheeses. Then some ordered first courses, others second courses. Lambrusco wine accompanied the dish. Everything was really good. Reasonable prices and generous portions. Highly recommended.

Very good dishes, excellent value for money. I recommend tortellini, passatelli, penne, gnocco, and tigelle. Typical Modena cuisine. Excellent service.

A truly positive experience! We ate deliciously, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The tigelle and tortellini were simply delicious, authentic Emilian cuisine. Excellent value. If we return to the area, it will definitely be a must-visit!

My lunch: Starter: Vecchia Modena” Homemade Ham/Spinach Tortellini in Cream Sauce with a touch of homemade thick Balsamico passed down from generations. The sweet/slightly tangy Balsamico balances well with the cream sauce. The tortellini was al dente. Every mouthful was heavenly. Main meal: Cream potatoes, Cotechino Modena (Pork sausage), a side dish of Mostarda(Candied fruit in mustard essence) and Spinach in butter. What a fantastic combination! Creamy, savoury, sweet & spicy and the Spinach to round up the taste. An authentic restaurant serving authentic food at very reasonable prices. This restaurant caters mainly to the locals. It is usually crowded during dinner. The 2 ladies attending to me spoke good English and have good knowledge of the food served.

YOU HAVE TO ISSUE CUSTOMERS RECEIPTS. I WAS GIVEN A PIECE OF PAPER WITH A MANAGEMENT DOCUMENT WRITTEN ON IT. I DIDN'T SEE A RECEIPT BE MADE IN THE ENTIRE TIME I WAS IN LINE AT THE CHECKOUT! NOTHING TO SAY ABOUT THE FOOD. However, it doesn't work like that, meaning I have to ask for an invoice? You have to issue one regardless... what are you talking about!

A delightful journey back to the '90s, reminiscent of forgotten aromas and flavors in a welcoming, maternal home. Gnocco with prosciutto, tortellini in broth, and a mascarpone cream—a sensory experience. Exceptional.

Feels like a very old timey traditional Modena restaurant for locals but the staff speaks English which was a surprise. The tiny Tortellini in broth was amazing & I haven't had tripe italian style for a long time. Wonderful place.
