10/05/2025: Something inconspicuous from the outside. But the restaurant has been renovated very tastefully. There were four of us and we enjoyed different meals. Everything was super delicious and we really enjoyed everything. The small but fine wine list offers a good selection. The service was very professional and very friendly. Very happy again.

26/05/2025: I give 2 stars only for the location because the food leaves a lot to be desired; grated lime zest in all the dishes, mussels tarantina style where the sauce tasted only of oil and there was even a hair in it, mixed fried fish with fish that was not fresh at all, it seemed like plastic. The waitress had recommended us to eat pizza, maybe there was a reason, but I don't think we'll be back to try it

02/05/2025: Ero venuta anni fa in questo ristorante ed ero stata bene Adesso la cucina è pretenziosa. Abbinamenti forzati : tartare di ostriche( dove le trovano?) con sugo di cannolicchi. Ma un semplice piatto di spaghetti alle vongole è così complicato? Pesce fritto in un letto di verdure in tempera : tante verdure e pochissimo pesce Consiglio ai gestori di semplificare le portate e di abbassare i prezzi Per due primi ( senza sapore) e una frittura in due quei 40 euro a testa Fine esperienza troverò sicuramente qualcosa di meglio

09/05/2025: Restaurant from which I expected more. I went to try the evening linked to the Confcommercio Reggio Emilia initiative, with a fixed local menu, and I must say that I was very, very disappointed. Poor quality in the raw material.

16/12/2024: Con un'amica siamo arrivate a Montecchio per caso, cercando un locale per fare un aperitivo "sostanzioso" con prodotti locali, abbiamo chiesto ad un passante che ci ha (fortunatamente!) consigliato La nuova lifferia. Orario di punta, erano rimasti solo un paio di tavoli liberi, ma il servizio è stato veloce e l'ambiente non era rumoroso. Abbiamo ordinato un tagliere di salumi a dir poco superlativi, erbazzone altrettanto (2 porzioni) ed una buona bottiglia di Malvasia. Conto decisamente onesto, infatti ne siamo rimaste stupite favorevolmente. L'erbazzone è stato omaggiato. Molto gradevole il personale, ci siamo intrattenute piacevolmente con il titolare Aldo, molto carini anche i due ragazzi presenti alla cassa quando ce ne siamo andate. Se passeremo di nuovo da queste parti sicuramente non manchera' un altro aperitivo/pranzo qui. Complimenti!

09/03/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance taste of times gone by. The owner welcomed us with a smile and then won us over with the delicacies of his restaurant! Amazing tigelle, ciacci and borlenghi!!! Everything is strictly homemade, prepared with love, just like it used to be done in the old days. The staff is very kind and cheerful. You have to go there! Well done!

04/03/2025: On our journey today we continued from Zocca to Monteombraro (Mo), to the Versilia fair. When lunch time arrived we decided for a local restaurant; The new Odyssey: FANTASTIC!!! nice and welcoming place where Nadia and Paolo pampered us like at home and then moved on to taste their Borlenghi specialties and fried gnocco. VERY GOOD! 😋😋😋not to mention the cold cuts and cheeses that accompany these delicacies. Everything was excellent, even the bill!! even though there was no menu displayed with prices, which can sometimes embarrass those on a limited budget. Highly recommended!! If you pass through Monteombraro, stop here

29/11/2024: Terrible experience at the Joie de Vivre bar. They do not respect the right of consumers to pay by debit card, as required by law. Despite the obligation to accept electronic payments, I was told that the POS did not work, forcing me to pay in cash. It is unacceptable that a place does not comply with the regulations and looks for excuses not to accept cards. I will not return and I will not recommend it to anyone.

22/02/2025: Just before Fanano... an excellent bar for our breakfasts before trekking and on the way back to refresh ourselves with excellent crescentine and a nice cold beer! Mother and daughter at the counter were very nice and friendly!!!

08/01/2025: Very positive lunch break with mushroom tortelloni. Delicious filling and mushrooms also with porcini mushrooms, second course with scallops with lemon and very crunchy fried potatoes. We didn't take wine but the cellar as shown in the photo was definitely well stocked!!
