07/06/2025: I have been going to Sushi 1688 for years and I can say, without exaggeration, that it is one of the best all you can eat in Emilia, especially for the quality of the fish. The raw salmon is always very fresh, soft and tasty, really a cut above the average, especially considering that we are talking about an inexpensive place. Another strong point is the perfect balance of flavors: never flat and never excessive. I really appreciate the moderate use of rice - a rare thing in AYCE - and the care with which the rolls are prepared, often enriched with toasted sesame seeds that add a crunchy and aromatic note. The salads and hot dishes are also excellent. The service is always quick and, even when some dishes do not arrive with Swiss precision, the staff is kind, helpful and ready to make up for it with a smile. The location does not focus on the wow effect, but it is bright, clean and with comfortable seats. The aquarium adds a relaxing touch and the bathrooms – often neglected elsewhere – here are always impeccable: spacious and very clean. Sushi 1688 is the right place for those looking for substance and quality, without getting lost in the “Instagram” frills. You come here to eat well, and you eat really well. In at least fifty visits, never a problem: neither stomach nor anything else. Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy excellent sushi, in a simple but welcoming environment, with a quality-price ratio that few can offer.

21/04/2025: Found by chance on Google Maps while returning home, a wonderful surprise on Easter Monday! Perfect fried: tasty and crunchy fish, it melted in your mouth. Vincenzo was really welcoming and chatting with him made everything even more pleasant. 5 stars that could be 5 hearts, we will be back soon!

18/06/2025: ❌️⚠️🚫 Extremely unpleasant experience. The owner was rude and made me leave simply because I ordered one coffee while waiting for others to join me. He didn’t give me a chance to explain that we were planning to order more. It felt like he had no patience and no respect for tourists, even though his business relies on them. Very disappointing attitude — I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values basic hospitality.

18/06/2025: Delicious coffee and excellent cornetto al pistachio. All the pastries looked scrumptious. We will be back to taste more tomorrow.

02/06/2025: Ci siam stati a pranzo assieme ad amici. Devo dire che son rimasto entusiasto!! Fettucine al ragú di asino piú buoni che abbia mai mangiato. Vino rosso della casa ottimo. Moscato buono da non credere. Dolci super. Prezzi onestissimi. Super consigliato

25/05/2025: 125 euros for 2..it seems excessive to me...you can eat whatever you want but 125 euros for 2 is too much... With equally equal portions if not more abundant with 60 or 70 euros in these areas you can get by... Never again

27/01/2025: Se scrivo questa recensione è solo per incentivare e spronare chi opera in questo ristorante. Siete un punto di riferimento a cattolica per chi come me ama il sushi. Sono mesi che ogni volta che compro o ceno li da voi, mangio sempre i stessi pezzi (alcuni senza amore) con salmone ovunque e gambero in tempura… un box misto deve avere pezzi misti e no sempre il salmone in forme diverse! Altri pesci costano? O aumentate là box mista e fate cose diverse o iniziate a fare sushi di carne!

01/06/2025: A historic trattoria, family-run, a very welcoming environment. Quick service, there is no menu, it is very special.. You feel cared for throughout the meal. The ricotta and spinach tortellini with butter are PERFECT. Must try... Highly recommended!!! The advice on dessert was also really great... They brought us ricotta, honey and sambuca... They bring everything in large quantities and the atmosphere is familiar. Thanks for the experience. P. S. I know that the traditional cuisine of the place is not vegetarian, but it would be great to be able to return and find some second courses Veg for us.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, but the real highlights were Maria Rita and Claudio, whose friendliness and hospitality perfectly embodied Italian warmth. The drinks and food were absolutely delightful, and we all thoroughly enjoyed them. If you’re ever in the area, this is a spot you simply must visit! Abbiamo scoperto questo posto per caso ed è stata una meravigliosa sorpresa. L’atmosfera era calda e accogliente, ma i veri protagonisti sono stati Maria Rita e Claudio, la cui gentilezza e ospitalità rappresentano alla perfezione il calore italiano. Le bevande e il cibo erano assolutamente deliziosi, e li abbiamo gustati con grande piacere. Se vi trovate in zona, questo è un posto che dovete assolutamente visitare!

31/05/2025: Ha preso il ghiaccio da per terra e lo ha infilato nel bicchiere, quando ho chiesto spiegazioni il Gestore si è rivolto a me con aggressività e maleducazione dicendo che mi faceva vedere le telecamere ..ovviamente ho chiesto di controllarle e si è visto chiaramente cosa ha fatto !!NON FIDATEVI
