07/05/2025: A particularly rustic and very pleasant place to experience even for just one evening due to a work meeting. The pizzas, the generally refined and tasty dishes, such as the platter of various cured meats with Schiacciata, really tasty, tasty and varied, a variety of bottled and draft beers, together with the decidedly socially active staff makes the meal and the environment very empathetic and unforgettable.
Lots of sympathy and what could be better than a cheerful evening as if we had known each other for years...!
The place is beautiful, full of wooden art carved on the walls which characterizes its rustic and easy-going nature, an environment where you don't miss home, thanks to three generations, grandfather, daughter and granddaughter, where you feel at home with the sound of jokes and double entendres... if you are looking for a carefree and cheerful evening, here is the right place, a real surprise both in its simplicity and in its complicity.

28/05/2025: Raw pizza in the center, sour tomato, generally good service, but I ate pizzas in Naples and Neapolitan pizzas are something else!!. Very "difficult" digestion!
11/05/2025: Avevamo voglia di una buona pizza : siamo usciti dal locale soddisfatti e oggi ci siamo risvegliati con la convinzione che, oltre che buona, abbiamo mangiato una pizza molto digeribile.
Abbiamo parcheggiato a 5 mt dalla porta d' ingresso (c'è un bel parcheggio riservato ai clienti) e ci hanno subito fatto accomodare (non avevamo prenotato) ; menu con una grande scelta di pizze, un pò meno assortito l' elenco della ristorazione.
Velocissimi i tempi sia per ordinare che per ricevere birra e pizza (la gran parte dei tavoli era occupata) e cortese il servizio. La pizza, soffice, era ben cotta (forno a legna) e farcita : siamo rimasti pienamente soddisfatti, conto compreso.
Peccato non fosse disponibile la mozzarella senza lattosio ma la scamorza affumicata al suo posto è stata degna sostituta.

23/05/2025: I work in the sector, I have been going to this place for 25 years and it is always the same ❤️ I think it is the only place that can still be called a trattoria where the dishes it offers are of excellent quality, it serves a red wine on tap!!! believe me the best in all of Piacenza like its dishes it offers! Big mustache 💪🥂

30/04/2025: Dirty glasses, poor service, exorbitant prices, inappropriate music for those who want to sit at the table and talk, inadequate staff. A place for hasty customers who cannot demand anything. A thousand pass by every day. Too bad it wasn't like this once upon a time. Bucket proverb said, the master's eye fattens the horse. Old Patti's was a real bistro this is a station bar.
22/04/2025: Ottimo ristorante tutto buonissimo dalla pizza ai primi e secondi. Grande varietà di scelta e tutto molto buono accompagnato dalla professionalità e dalla gentilezza di tutto il personale composto da giovani ragazzi veloci e precisi. Consigliatissimo!!!

08/03/2025: Era l'esclamazione ottocentesca degl'abitanti del quartiere allora malfamato di Reggio dove il locale si trova nel centro citta,
è un posto informale e allegro sia d'aperitivo che post cena con eventi inclusi.
Mangiamo a banco e con l' oste Minne decidiamo il menù,
si parte con assaggio di salumi discreti e lambrusco Fantesini,
la bomba di riso una vera leccornìa che accompagnamo con rosso veronese, assistiamo poi a uno show divertente... continuate così...

08/05/2025: Everything was delicious, the staff were very kind, we went almost at closing time and they welcomed us without any problems, we don't give a total of 5 stars because being a tavern we thought we would spend a little less, but the food is good and in any case it was worth it. I sincerely recommend this place.
10/04/2025: We ordered the pasta with local mushrooms and it was tasteless and expensive. Waiter seemed distressed. Not a nice experience

21/03/2025: An osteria that makes simplicity and a homely feel its strong points. I admit that at first glance the exterior and the entrance had made me turn up my nose, since they do not appear very inviting, but when I arrived in the innermost room, I had to change my mind. In fact, I have always loved the rustic taste that certain places give to their interiors. At first glance, I was not convinced by the cost of the cold cuts platter with fried gnocco and giardiniera, higher than the Piacenza standard; but seeing the quantity of cold cuts and the goodness of everything, I was able to change my mind. A truly excellent appetizer, with seasoned cold cuts and fried gnocco which, despite being made up of smaller pieces than normal, was enough. The bread included in the cover charge was also delicious. The pasta was perfectly al dente: the tortelli with tail were excellent as per tradition, while I found the crescents with taleggio and pears to be very delicate. At times, perhaps, a little too much, since in some ravioli you could barely taste the seasoning. In any case, the portions were right. The desserts made us end the dinner in style: the house tiramisu literally seemed to be made at home, since my mother has always assembled it in a similar way; the sbrisolona, on the other hand, was perfect with its very light salty aftertaste, an excellent contrast with the mascarpone cream. The prices are normal for the quality of the dishes offered. An extra touch to the pleasantness of the evening was given by the staff, who I immediately noticed were easy-going. I don't know if it's a family business, but that's what I perceived during this experience: so much familiarity, warmth and commitment to their business. I found it extremely sweet to be served also by the little daughter of a woman on the staff, but in general the whole team was impeccable. We left with a smile on our faces and full bellies. I will definitely go back soon because I'm very curious to try the chestnut tagliatelle with braised meat too. I love it when menus combine traditional dishes with one-of-a-kind finds.

Osteria la Ghenga

18/05/2025: Our Sunday lunch at La Ghenga restaurant was unfortunately one of the worst culinary experiences we have had. The grilled mutton was inedible: burnt, stringy and with a flavor that left doubts about its freshness. The mixed grill of meat was tasteless and devoid of any character.
Service: the staff was not very attentive. We were placed under a gazebo closed with sheets, where other customers smoked freely. When we asked if it was normal to smoke under a closed gazebo, I am a smoker myself, the waiter replied that "you should have common sense", without taking any measures to enforce the rules on smoking in closed spaces.
In short, an experience to forget both for the quality of the food and the attitude of the staff. We will not return and we do not recommend it.
