26/09/2025: When you least expect it, life throws a surprise at you. One of the best pizzas in the area. A well-run place with excellent food.

11/09/2025: Upon entering, the most striking thing is the outside ambiance, which appears inadequate compared to the pizzeria's much more refined interior. We drove all the way to Budrio, drawn by the numerous videos online, but alas, the pizza didn't pass muster, being average among many others in the Bologna area. The service was good!

04/11/2025: We tried to get dinner, but it didn't work out. We arrived at 6:52 PM, opened the door, and were greeted by three young men who said, "Guys, we open at 7 PM. Wait outside while we call." It's happened before, just before opening, but at least they'd have been polite enough to let us sit in a warm place, given that we had 8 minutes to go.

12/10/2025: Fair prices, good food quality (at least the appetizers and main courses, bruschetta we haven't tried), good service, and friendly waitresses. However, what we thought was the owner (or the dining room manager?) was a bit out of line: even though it's a Saturday night (7:30 PM, etc.), you don't tell people who haven't booked for their own reasons (we were passing by and needed to eat somewhere) that they can sit at a table as long as they vacate it early. Similar concepts are expressed, but in a more polite manner, e.g., "We'd be happy to serve you, but unfortunately, since we have a lot of reservations at xxx, we'll have to ask you to leave by yyy. If that's okay with you, we'd be happy to welcome you." I hate to have to point this out, but if you want to give a place the air of what it seemed, courtesy to customers is simply the foundation, and form becomes substance. The gentleman at the cash register (owner?) was infinitely kinder and more cordial.

05/10/2025: Neat location, friendly and fast staff. There were 9 of us and we ordered a trio of first courses to share. They arrived on serving plates, which they said were for 3 portions 🤔, I say for 2, but that's just my opinion, however, we had to reorder 2 more courses to satisfy everyone. In any case, the first courses were good and tasty. The bruschetta: bread not suitable for a dish with that name, unimaginative and put-together filling, a little warm, a little lukewarm... who knows? The place was very crowded, maybe that contributed. I remain unsure. In favor, definitely the service, lots of customers, but fast service.

27/07/2025: This is our second time staying at the London when we're in the area. It's become a go-to for us for a number of reasons. 1) Excellent hospitality and customer service in a family-run environment that makes you feel at home. The owners are very capable and professional. 2) The place is well-kept and offers a wide selection of both restaurant and pizzeria options. We had pizza and focaccia, and the dough was very easy to digest, the toppings generous, and the ingredients were high-quality. 3) The prices are super fair, both for the rooms and the restaurant. 4) The location is on a quiet, scenic street with convenient parking and easy access to several sites of interest.

10/10/2025: I ordered two marinaras, one with turnip tops and the other with mushrooms. They arrived with two red ones, so they weren't marinated, with very little tomato, dry and tough. NEVER AGAIN! It's not hard to understand: MARINATE PLUS THE REST REQUESTED! The only pizzeria that couldn't make us two marinaras! But we paid you, you certainly didn't give them away. We had celiac guests, otherwise we would never have ordered pizza from you. They chose to come to you, but you certainly didn't gain new customers. I went back yesterday, October 9, 2025, because my sister's husband is celiac, not because I wanted to go back. I ordered an ortolana without mozzarella, which was quite bland. Tomato and vegetables were €9. In 2025, it would be nice if every restaurant offered plant-based cheeses to add to pizzas with vegetables for those who don't eat animals or dairy. I'm renewing my negative review.

08/10/2025: You can eat gluten-free, whether you're eating at the restaurant or trying the gnocco and tigelle. Everything was delicious. We'll be back to try the pizza...
