Mariuccia and Domenico are exceptional hosts. If genius lies in simplicity, Paperoga is the essence of genius, born of care and know-how. I recommend it, indeed, I highly recommend it for both an aperitif and a lunch break. Thank you.

The beating heart of Via Lomellina, Paperoga embodies the essence of a bygone Milan. Sandwiches (the best, as the old school dictates), beer, kindness, and friendliness. You can't say you've truly experienced Milan until you've eaten at Domenico and Mariuccia.
