I am always struck by the kindness and care of the owners, they are truly wonderful people. (Ps. There are also gluten free options - packaged but really good!)

08/03/2025: Definitely one of my favorite bars. Robby and his wife are always kind, courteous and smiling. By far the best latte and macchiatone coffee in Scandiano which, added to the absolute non-invasiveness of the owners, makes everything an excellent and quick coffee break...

11/08/2025: I don't know if it was by chance or if it's always like this, but I liked the fact that there were few people in the restaurant, which meant less confusion and a peaceful atmosphere where the atmosphere became intimate and relaxing, all accompanied by simple but excellent food. It was truly a wonderful experience in every way! Hoping to find the same atmosphere, we will definitely be back!

08/05/2025: Relaxing restaurant, excellent raw materials, attentive and kind service, particular location in the center of Goro with the Po di Goro flowing alongside 30 meters from the restaurant. Prices normal.

22/05/2025: Una splendida scoperta. Sono andato in questo ristorante dopo aver letto le recensioni positive sul Vs. Portale e devo dire che sono rimasto favorevolmente sorpreso. Cibo ottimo, così come il servizio, prezzo onesto. Sono tornato un altra volta e il menù era cambiato, ma sempre gustoso. Mai mangiato un maialino così tenero. Ottimi i passatelli con fave e pecorino.

We had a meat tasting menu with various courses, along with a glass of wine recommended upon request. Everything was perfect!

10/04/2025: A lovely agriturismo near Asolo. The fish tasted very good and the bigoli were to die for. The service was very quick and responded flexibly to our requests. The restaurant was also busy during the week (always a good sign) and despite that we found a place for three in the large room.

11/05/2025: Veramente spettacolare, a partire dagli antipasti che erano veramente fantastici, consiglio vivamente quello di cozze e vongole , i primi veramente buonissimi, e la grigliata l’ha fatta come volevamo noi modificando quella sul menù ( direi veramente fantastico) . Chi ha scritto che il pesce era surgelato consiglio di andare a mangiare a casa propria perché di pesce non ne capisce proprio niente.

10/05/2025: Sosta pranzo durante una gita in moto, che dire, per quel poco che abbiamo preso, frittura come antipasto e spaghetti alle vongole, tutto veramente buono, degli spaghetti così erano anni che non li mangiavo , così buoni e curati, fatti finalmente come Dio comanda!! Ci tornerò sicuramente

29/07/2025: There's not much to say, when I want a good deep-dish pizza, Astra 2 is the best for me. Polite staff and management, top-notch service... I had booked an outdoor table for four, but it was too hot, so we asked to move inside where there was air conditioning, and they moved us without a problem and kindly. The price was average... but when I eat well, I don't even bother paying the price.

27/07/2025: Abbiamo chiesto un roastbeef che è arrivato con 2 mozzarelle congelate e scadute. L insalata greca era stata richiesta senza cetrioli e con cipolle ma è arrivata sbagliata (ma questo errore posso capirlo,il primo no). Ho l impressione che ci sia grande disorganizzazione nel servizio e il giardino esterno ,che credevo fosse carino,in realtà è un po' squallido ,con tavoloni e seggiole di plastica.

24/08/2025: The place is pleasant. My girlfriend and I stopped in on a Saturday evening in August, and since there weren't many people inside, we were seated right away. Since she's a vegetarian, she opted for a vegetarian main course, a dish that cost the same as a burger: €15. (This is the dish: ALL VEG Carrots in three textures (roasted, emulsified with ginger, very raw), tofu marinated in beetroot soy sauce, dried cherry tomatoes, gommasio, and tandoori masala. All served on chickpea hummus.) Result: Me happily munching on my burger while she tucked into baby carrots and two pieces of tofu. The menu boasted a dish that in reality turned out to be a mockery. The dish could have been included among the €5/6 appetizers, but not as a €15 main course, given that it contained literally two squares of tofu, and you expect something substantial from a second course! No bread, no side dish. I ask the waiter if this was a deliberate choice or perhaps the chef had carelessly assembled the dish. Response: "The main ingredient is carrot, and it was conceived as a play on textures." "Would you like something else?" I understand, to a certain extent, the choice to defend one's own culinary philosophy... Final bill: A 33cl bottle of beer, water, cover charge, a burger, and the veggie dish: €22.50 per person. €45 total! Disastrous figures. The biggest reason we felt so bad was the lack of sympathy for our obvious disappointment. A simple "I'm sorry" or a "Would you like a liqueur?" would have been enough. The fact that they pretended nothing was happening and asked us at the cash register, "Was everything okay?", clearly shows their desire to embellish the menu to make as much money as possible. It's a shame, because the place has potential.

22/07/2025: E' sempre un gran piacere tornare al Barca, innanzitutto per la gentilezza e la professionalità del proprietario e del personale di sala (manca molto la signora che abitualmente accoglieva la clientela e gestiva il carrello dei bolliti, alla quale va il nostro caro ricordo). E' sempre un gran piacere inoltre degustare i salumi e i primi piatti della tradizione piacentina e i bolliti misti che oggi, però, non abbiamo ordinato a causa del caldo. Rimedieremo in autunno! Ampia scelta di dolci. Buon vino, un gutturnio della casa e prezzo adeguato alla qualità dei prodotti offerti. I nostri complimenti, come sempre!

19/07/2025: Cena in coppia in questo ristorante. è stata una piacevole esperienza Cibo eccellente, preparato con materie prime di ottima qualità che esaltano ogni piatto. Sapori autentici e ben bilanciati, che dimostrano grande attenzione nella scelta degli ingredienti e nella preparazione. Anche il servizio è stato impeccabile: il personale è cortese, disponibile e molto attento, sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza con discrezione. Prezzi onesti per un’esperienza culinaria di livello. Consigliatissimo
