28/08/2025: If you come here as a traveler with a hungry stomach, you will not be disappointed! Fantastic place. It doesn't look like much from the outside, it looks a bit run down, the entrance to the building is located after a dilapidated garden. But I can't imagine a more authentic Italian place than this for a cheap but substantial lunch menu on the go. Expect a maximum of 20 euros per person (August 2025 example). On half an A4 sheet of paper (that "menu") they offer 3-4 types of first and second courses, with 3-4 types of vegetable rounds to choose from. In other words, a humpbacked pile of pasta and a good palm-sized or more meat, with delicious side dishes (polenta, fried potatoes, rapini, etc.). The portions are huge, enough for a hungry truck driver - there were quite a few trucks there. If you go this way, don't miss it! And thanks to the restaurant for the excellent food! 🤩

01/10/2025: We go there often. The piadinas are special and excellent. I've tried the crepes, which are amazing. I recommend going at least once. You'll love it. The girls are kind and sweet. Wait times vary depending on how crowded it is, but on average they're quick. The wait is worth it, though.

17/06/2025: Ordered a plate of nachos, and it was inedible!!! It was a jumble of stuff placed randomly without any criteria (mozzarella with paprika? But they don't even do this in America). In addition, the waiter brought us the plate with a napkin that, rightly, remained stuck on the nachos and they didn't even have the courage to change it. Poor quality burgers and a rather questionable choice on the menu (there was onion everywhere and if you asked to remove it they even looked at you badly). But excuse me, but at this point you call the place onion pub!!! Never again in a place like this. Too bad I can't give 0 stars!

07/06/2025: Excellent food and pleasant atmosphere. Too bad about the owner's service when it came to the bill! We got to the cashier to pay by card and the POS didn't work. The owner got agitated, exclaiming phrases like "what the f*** why did they have to invent cards when there was cash that was so convenient". And after 3 long attempts he told us "be good, go and withdraw" (the nearest ATM can only be reached by car). After 15/20 minutes of waiting we managed to pay, and they didn't even give us 1€ discount. It's really a shame because the waiters were very kind!

30/09/2025: We spend a night here after hiking 25 km from Bologna. Our room was clear and shower great. All staff was really attentive and helpful, the wine and food lovely. Only bad thing is you can hear the highway but you kind of forget it when you are enjoying their food and wine. They even made us a lunchpack. All in all we enjoyed our stay 😃

09/10/2025: A good place if you're hungry; they treat you very well, with fast and friendly service from all the staff. Generous portions for those who are truly hungry after a busy day at work. Very competitive prices for the area, and a small discount on the house, which is always a nice touch these days.

28/09/2025: Pure Italy. Bustling, lively, and delicious. A simple, large restaurant, reasonably priced, with large portions and excellent food, everything from pizza to pasta, fish, meat, and mussels... all expertly prepared, and the atmosphere is simply fantastic. From the manager to the workers, everyone is friendly and the service is fast.

03/10/2025: Terrible lasagna, something must have happened during preparation. Strange taste, probably some unknown spice. It's a shame because it looked really inviting. PS: The smell was reminiscent of spoiled meat.

06/08/2025: If you really want to learn how to make pasta the right way, this class is a must. 
I spent two amazing weeks in Bologna, fully focused on making pasta, with the help of Alexandra and Lucia, who are both incredibly passionate and knowledgeable. From the very beginning, they gave me their full attention, teaching with great energy, hands-on practice, and helpful feedback every step of the way. This was much more than just a cooking class—it felt like a real apprenticeship. Making pasta dough by hand in the traditional way was challenging, especially at first, but thanks to their patience and expert teaching, I slowly built up my confidence and skills. This class wasn’t about shortcuts or surface-level learning. It was about really understanding the process and learning how to make pasta from scratch the right way. The lessons covered a wide variety of pasta. We started with fresh tagliatelle and moved on to stuffed pastas like tortelloni, balanzoni, mezzelune, triangoli, and their own original creation, bombette (which was seriously delicious). Each type had its own technique and style. Since it was a one-on-one class, everything was adjusted to my speed and progress, which made the learning experience even more rewarding. What I appreciated most was that Alexandra and Lucia were not only warm, fun, and easy to be around—they were also honest and clear when teaching. This wasn’t the kind of class where you only get compliments. They pointed out my mistakes without hesitation, and I’m truly thankful for that. Their high standards and strong commitment to quality really helped me improve. I left the class with solid skills and the confidence to make pasta on my own. And one last thing—the tortellini in brodo they made for me? It was by far the best dish I had during my whole stay in Bologna. A perfect bowl filled with tradition, technique, and love.

17/09/2025: In Cesena, there's no restaurant that makes you love Romagna more than Tre Papi. Nestled in the stunning historic center, with a rich and delicious menu (the pizza is incredibly good despite the extensive and succulent menu), and with the atmosphere and courtesy typical of warm Romagna, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to eat WELL and at a good price. Highly recommended!

09/10/2025: I haven't eaten here for a long time, I have to say that some time ago they were much more similar to the pieces from Sicilian trattoria but today they are truly horrible, Neapolitan sandwiches all raw inside and hard and dry onions, they must have changed the rotisserie because the tavola calda is cooked at too high a temperature and not very leavened, the result is raw inside and dry and hard as a stone on the outside.

21/09/2025: Did you know that if you've booked a table days in advance, they'll put you outside for lunch in the heat of a 35-degree sun? Without even giving you a phone call when you made your reservation. The service is absolutely terrible!

14/09/2025: An unassuming restaurant on the outskirts of town. Parking is available on the street. The staff is very friendly. The fish dishes are very good and the value is excellent.
