08/05/2024: A bit of a walk from Palazzo Pacini but just enough to build our appetites! We received a warm welcome and chose Il Collo with Tuna Sauce and Mayonnaise with extra virgin olive oil to share, followed by La Tripe, cinta sausage and saffron from the garden, Il Galletto al mattone, and sides of L' Erbette sautéed with garlic extra virgin olive oil and chili pepper and Le Patate alla Ghiotta. Matched with the house chianti. Service was lovely and a match for the food. Compliments. It got busy so I suggest booking.

The background of the orange and pink glow of the sunset over the hills and the attentive eyes of our waiters who attended to all our needs made this a perfect evening. The Parmesan grilled egg, the steak with grilled vegetables and the apple passion dessert were out of this world. I did not care so much for the tiramisu and the raviolis were good. I would add a little "pick me up (more fresh herbs) " to the taste of the boar meat in the ravioli. All and all, an experience not to be missed

01/04/2024: We went to this restaurant because it was recommended to us but honestly we didn't like it very much. Messy and not clean place, a cat was wandering around the bar counter and it was full of objects feet of dust on the shelves. The food wasn't bad but the service was slow and not precise, then we didn't understand if there were more rooms but in ours there really were no waiters and it was dirty and poorly furnished. We were expecting a typical place but it is probably a restaurant with a lot of history but everything could be tidied up and above all I recommend more cleaning.

23/03/2024: Restaurant found by chance very close to the Duomo and a few steps from Piazza del Campo. Excellent quality food, very kind staff and a very nice place. The desserts are definitely a gem and they really impressed us. Fair prices in line for staying in the center of Siena. I highly recommend.
