12/05/2026: Excellent restaurant just steps from Piazza del Campo. Good food at reasonable prices. We ate outside. There's limited seating both inside and out, so reservations are recommended. I recommend the spicy tomato pici.

12/05/2026: We had pici, it was tasty although perhaps the portion was a little small. We added a portion of baked potatoes which were good.

28/04/2026: Good, high-level food. The starters were very good (9/10), the pasta was good (8/10), the meat very good (9/10) and dessert very good (9/10). This could easily be Michelin recommended (not star yet).

19/04/2026: I'm not in the habit of writing reviews, especially negative ones. I have nothing to say about the food or the ambiance, but regarding the service and the people, it was a pretty awful experience. We were going to visit the castle and, when we got there at lunchtime, we decided to eat at the osteria before heading home (we're Venetians on vacation). We were told the place was full, but they were kind enough to give us a table so we could eat quickly. We ordered a platter, two glasses of red wine, two first courses, water, and two coffees. When they poured me the wine, they practically spilled it everywhere except my glass (especially my shoes and bag). Human error is possible, of course! But since you're charging me €9 for a glass, I'd at least like it to be a bit full, not just a tiny mouthful after the mix-up. And when it came to the bill, it was even worse because they asked me €92.50 with not even a minimal discount after the inconvenience and without a receipt... But NO. I ASKED FOR IT...are taxes only paid in the North?

03/05/2026: A restaurant within the ancient walls of the wonderful city of Pienza. A welcoming atmosphere. Everything was excellent, but the pici with duck ragù was fantastic! The apricot and walnut tart also deserves a shout-out. Highly recommended.

30/04/2026: If the welcome mirrors the way they answer the phone, it's certainly not a good start. Personally, I preferred not to find out the rest.

07/04/2026: What can I say? A great discovery. The food was wonderful from start to finish. The wine list was excellent. The staff were very friendly.

15/03/2026: A real surprise! We were looking for something near the Valdichiana toll booth on the A1 highway. We ate probably the best peposo ever. The side dishes were real roast potatoes and beans with pork rinds. Everything was delicious. Even the desserts were top-notch, which is increasingly rare. The service was warm and friendly, and the bill was very reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

01/02/2026: I discovered this place completely by chance during a bike ride. I'd promised myself I'd wait until I got to my destination to eat, but then I stumbled upon this place and hunger took over. The place looks almost unremarkable from the outside, but once you enter, everything changes. Very well-kept. The owner is very friendly. I had the best tartare and tagliata of my life. All washed down with a divine Chianti Riserva. The prices are initially high, but they're proportionate to the quality. Personally, it's a place worth going to.
