19/01/2025: It's a beautiful restaurant! We went for the first time with my girlfriend on February 14, 2024, we came to visit San Gimignano and we found this fantastic restaurant! We have never tried anything like it, every dish is so delicious, the combination of flavors is so special, we really liked it! All starters, first courses, second courses, are delicious! We took the tasting menu and tasted almost everything. So good liver pâté, pasta with white cinta senese ragù, also onion pie with salted butter ice cream and parmesan sauce was delicious, the combination of flavors is amazing! Besides the delicious food, the service is great, the waiters are very friendly, we were very happy. And after in September we returned to this restaurant, because after another time this restaurant has become our favorite and the most delicious!

31/01/2025: Lovely place in the middle of nowhere, attentive and helpful staff fulfilled every request, welcoming and well-kept private spa. We will definitely be back!

09/02/2025: I love it!!! When you look at it, it seems very expensive, that the atmosphere is sophisticated and that it won't fit in your budget. But when you go in and the people welcome you right away, they are very friendly and helpful, it's a relief. The food is delicious and the prices are excellent. Fair prices. I think because I'm Brazilian, I'm not used to certain things here in Italy, even though I've been here for almost 8 years, but no matter what restaurant it is, the owner or owners will always be on the job, in the kitchen, behind the counter, serving tables, and because they are proud of their work, they will speak very fondly of everything. It's so cute! I love it here. It's totally worth it, it's an excellent atmosphere, 10/10 service, the food is excellent and the prices are fair.

04/02/2025: There were 5 of us and... Nice place but first courses too seasoned with oil and a lot of salt, good frying, good salmon, good desserts but the biggest damage was on the watered down wine which we sent back but which they made us pay for. Coffee offered, thanks but...It's not for me.

20/03/2025: A special place but quite small. Well furnished making you feel at home. Excellent and quality food. Helpful staff. The downside of this tavern is that it is a bit far from the city center. Recommended.

11/03/2025: We went for lunch on Sunday, we always suggest booking because it is a very popular place with locals and foreigners on holiday. Rustic and familiar atmosphere, very fast service even if the place was full. We ordered a starter and main courses, all very good. Advised

05/03/2025: OMG!! From the food to the service, our experience was top notch. We had a salad, bottle of rosso di Montalcino the profumata pizza and dessert. All was delicious. Dessert was homemade ice cream. Delizioso!! So good we are coming back tomorrow night!! You have to come here if you are staying near Monteriggioni!!

11/03/2025: We had dinner one evening in early March 2025. A very nice and particular place, a renovated former Dopolavoro. Very friendly staff and excellent food. I recommend it!

09/03/2025: A typical Tuscan place that you don't expect; 10 minutes from Bagno Vignoni and in the heart of Val D'Orcia, you enter an inn from times gone by. Since 1939 in this place we have eaten as we once did. Mini pans with a little, truffle tagliatelle, fondue in the bowl and Florentine steaks and meats of all kinds. Courteous and kind staff always attentive to everyone. A wine list out of the ordinary.

22/03/2025: We happened to be there before a trip to Siena, we were welcomed by Eugenio, a very nice and professional guy who immediately put us at ease in a familiar and welcoming environment. Typical traditional menu with a wide choice for all tastes and absolutely satisfying portions. Excellent service, in addition to the friendliness, not everyone leaves bottles of bitters on the table. Homemade desserts, one better than the other, highly recommended the tiramisu and the SantOvino. EXCELLENT quality/price ratio, what can I say if not highly recommended for anyone looking for good food with professional and friendly staff.

19/03/2025: I chose this place to celebrate my graduation with my closest relatives and friends. The owner was very kind and made himself available to satisfy my requests; furthermore, he was able to propose a valid and suitable menu for the situation with an excellent quality/price ratio. All my guests felt at ease and ate very well. The pici and the peposo in particular were truly super! Thanks again to Pietro and his staff for the welcome and for making my special day even more enjoyable.

23/03/2025: We set outside, for lunch. The service was great and welcoming. For starters we took the anchovies and salty cheese cake. Both were generous and very good. After that we had the gnocchi with truffles that was tasty and well presented and the ossobuco which was good but side is extra charged and was plane and not generous. We took the waiter’s advice for wine and it wasn’t a great wine, just ok.

20/03/2025: If you are planning a visit to Siena , this is a great spot, not to be missed. Had a fantastic lunch. Mostly locals in a lovely family run historic site. It is beautiful inside the food is incredible. We had the vegetarian tasting menu. The handmade "pici pasta" is wow. It came with two different small veg souffles and homemade bean stew . The cheese cake is the best ever . The place is only 5 minutes from the Duomo on a little side street. We'll worth the search. Reservation suggested

02/03/2025: On the website it says until 4:00 p.m., but we arrived at 3:00 p.m. and they told us that they didn't provide food. Misleading information.

01/01/2025: The truffle carbonara was good but lacked some of the intense flavor I would expect from this dish given the presence of pecorino and bacon. The gorgonzola flan on the other hand was exactly what I expected when ordering a gorgonzola flan. Compliments to the chef who has worked there since 1982.

27/03/2025: I had a delicious mushroom and chestnut soup followed up by rabbit in a mushroom and walnut sauce. Both outstanding and something I hadn't had before. The house wine was very good and the service friendly and pleasing. It was a great lunch treat.

11/03/2025: Parecía un McDonald's. La comida era adecuada y nada más. O el servidor era desatento y continuamente pasó por alto muchas de nuestras necesidades básicas como cubiertos, pan para la mesa o traer pedidos completos. Pienza es una ciudad hermosa, pero Rossellino fue una decepción.

01/03/2025: Simplemente maravilloso, la carne de res está tan bien colgada y es tan delicioso, Andrea es un maestro en cocinar durante una barbacoa caliente, vamos allí tan a menudo como podamos y volveremos a visitar cuando regrese este verano. Su bodega es variada y tiene vinos tintos encantadores. Es encantador sentarse afuera y cenar juntos o con amigos, es una posición encantadora.

07/01/2025: Sono stato in questo locale diverse volte sia con amici che con la famiglia, una garanzia per la cucina toscana. Siamo partiti con l'assaggio di antipasti, tantissime portate una meglio dell'altra, per i nostri gusti il collo ripieno e l'uovo di quaglia sono in assoluto i migliori. Abbiamo continuato con la fiorentina. Tenerissima, cotta al sangue alla perfezione e accompagnata dalle patate, sublime. Dolci fatti da loro. Vino abbiamo preso quattro bottiglie in 8. Personale super carino, professionale e preparato. Spesa 60€ a testa.

22/12/2024: I had been there a few years ago and I liked it. I went back a few days ago and everything was confirmed, even better. Very good and plentiful dishes, impeccable service and honest bill. The fried food is truly excellent, very good mixed starter, excellent and homemade walnut gnocchi. Very good and equally plentiful desserts. Furthermore, what should not be underestimated is the environment and the context: quiet and friendly where you feel good and eat with pleasure. Restaurant to recommend and to return often.

24/11/2024: Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante su consiglio di un'amica che aveva già mangiato qui. Tutto ottimo ma segnalo i crostini di polenta al ragù, l'arrosto misto e la carne fritta. Servizio veloce e cortese, prezzo giusto.
