24/08/2024: Dopo aver visitato Siena assieme ai nostri amici di Granada, la nostra guida Giulia ci ha raccomandato questo ristorante. Ecco, abbiamo mangiato così bene che personalmente ho dovuto abbracciare la responsabile di sala per ringraziarla di quanto eravamo stati bene . E credetemi , tutto ciò, non mi capita spesso . Se mai tornassi a Siena vedo di prenotare per tempo. Grazie ancora.

An authentic experience that we will repeat without hesitation if the opportunity presents itself to us and that we highly recommend. 30/08/2024: Nice characteristic place, everything was very good even if the Fiorentina wasn't exactly the best we had a good time, a greeting to the kind waitress who satisfied us in everything.

07/08/2024: Fabulous experience in a SHOP of times gone by, the wonderful smell that pervades the nostrils upon entering made me feel like a child again. The owner is a friendly person, in love and proud of his work and he conveyed his passion to us by concentrating it in a space sandwich (soppressata, pecorino and vegetables)! If I return to Siena I will stop by and try a platter paired with a good red.

17/07/2024: Very nice place recommended by the backpacker. Well hidden by a superb bougainvillea. We ate very well, excellent panini, prepared in front of us by the chef with good products and good wines. The chef works alone, he does everything. The atmosphere is great. Good address

23/08/2024: 1 star food - because you removed the focaccias, and eating a platter for two people with two slices spread on top, I would say a small quantity for the price of the same. 1 star service - because if I order you a Syrah by the glass because you (you waiter) said you have it by the glass, you bring me to the table the Sangiovese from the retro bottles of Tuscan wine that you have for sale, which we have been drinking regularly for years past, it is not Was friendly at all. Especially when you go to the bathroom and see someone take the bottle from the fridge under the counter and you hope that those glasses not usually served at the table are not for you. 1 star environment - because with the previous staff (totally renewed) it was less trying to "cheat" the customer... especially when you are from Siena. I'd say we'll go to the Piazza Indipendenza area next time.

31/07/2024: Today we went to this nice restaurant after a refreshing swim in the cascades of Colle val d’Elsa. The service and the boss were very nice. Since our son has celiac disease, we asked for gluten-free food… He immediately received gluten-free breadsticks and delicious gluten-free pasta. The pizzas were very, very tasty. The desserts, homemade cake with pears, caramel ice cream and gluten-free PanaCotta with pistachio sauce were also very, very good. We were very satisfied and happy to have taken the short detour to this restaurant. The prices are fair. If we are in the area again, we would definitely stop there again. Thank you…

10/08/2024: We were guests of the relais and with a series of tastings and dinners booked outside. Fantastic experience at our restaurant which makes us want to come back even just to eat. Excellent entrees and dream pig! Well done!

10/08/2024: I was very impressed with my experience at Mastrojanni, as a vegetarian the menu had serval choice that came straight from their own vegetable garden. The chef also proposed other vegetarian dishes that were not on the menu. The staff was very skilled and accommodating making our dining experience fantastic. I highly recommend not only the restaurant but also pairing the wines that come from their winery.

16/08/2024: Ci siamo fermati casualmente in questa trattoria attirati dall insegna e dalla fame, locale non molto curato ma caratteristico, ci portano al tavolo, senza richiederla, acqua frizzante e naturale, poi ci viene letto il menù da cui scegliamo 3 panzanelle e un piatto di pici al ragù di coniglio ( ne prendiamo anche un assaggio per mio figlio di un anno). Personale gentile e cordiale cibo molto buono la sorpresa é arrivata con il conto. 15 euro il piatto di pici con coniglio ( quantità media, non abbondante) 7.50 la panzanella ( altro non è che pane cipolla e pomodoro) 7.50 anche la pasta per il bimbo. Prezzi veramente alti ed ingiustificati che hanno rovinato il pranzo.

28/07/2024: Assortment of sausages and cheeses, all homemade and of quality, a plate enough for 2 people to share thinking about having a second. Accompanied with delicious homemade bread. As a second, homemade pasta with ragout. You have 2 types to choose from and 4 sauces, it has more things but we prefer to try the pasta, without a doubt the best I have ever eaten, it melts in your mouth. For dessert, homemade tiramisu, very very good, with little coffee flavor, and cheesecake with caramel, also very delicious. a dinner of 10!

31/08/2024: Visiting Pienza for the second time, we wanted to specifically return to this trattoria which offers typical Tuscan cuisine: I have never eaten such good ribollita! The pici with wild boar ragout are also very good... the portions are generous, the prices are honest and the atmosphere is familiar and pleasant Super recommended!!!

28/08/2024: Nice place, typical Siena architecture. A first course, a second course, a bottle of water and a glass of red wine (no one told me what wine was available by the glass, but oh well). Classic menu of Siena restaurants and average quality. However, you cannot charge 3 euros for a cover charge if you have a paper placemat on the table and 3.80 euros for a 75cl glass bottle of water.
