20/06/2025: An unmissable gem in the beautiful San Giminiano. A totalizing experience, incredible dishes played on precision and finesse perfectly completed with an absolutely perfect wine pairing. By right among my favorite restaurants ever. Compliments for the welcome and the service

12/08/2025: Unfortunately, our booking for the vineyard dinner was unexpectedly cancelled. I had booked by phone, but apparently, a payment link was sent that we never received. Without payment, the reservation was cancelled, but we weren't informed of this. When we arrived, we were unaware of this. The staff reacted curtly, saying it wasn't "their fault" without offering any assistance. They made no effort to help us or offer us an alternative. Due to the unfriendly attitude, we decided to leave. It was a real shame, especially considering our expectations for the evening.

21/07/2025: 7 of us arrived at lunch and they were able to accommodate us at an outside table. Nice menu with good options plus knowledgeable help with wines. We all found something we wanted and service was efficient but not rushed. Quiet setting on small side street near one of city gates. Good recommendation from our city walk guide.

20/07/2025: A quaint and welcoming place. Young and very knowledgeable staff. Typical local dishes, very well prepared. Perfectly cooked meat! Excellent first courses. High-quality ingredients. We were surprised by the truly amazing wild organic olive oil...we bought two bottles, even though the price is high, it's worth every penny! I would go back.

05/08/2025: Pochi piatti ma molto ben cucinati, atmosfera familiare e un oste che ti fa sentire a tuo agio. Prezzi alti ma in linea con lo standard di Pienza: molto gradito il liquore finale…. ci facciamo uno Spinello? 😁 Ci tornerei anche domani!

31/07/2025: Ambiente gradevole e personale molto gentile menù molto limitato e prezzi esosi. Pici all'aglione buoni ma non abbondanti e un prezzo elevato (18 euro). Una lattina di Coca Cola 5 euro, un bicchiere di vino della casa 8 euro. Non lo consiglio nè ci tornerei.

21/08/2025: A place discovered by chance through Google reviews. Truly excellent food, typical Sienese dishes and grilled meat. Fast service. Good price (too bad you don't know the price of the dishes). Now for the downsides, though... - The menu is dictated verbally by the waitress, obviously without knowing the price. - Since we're tourists, a welcome aperitif is probably not expected, while at the tables next to us, with locals, it's allowed. (Greetings, meatballs, etc.) - The gentleman behind the counter makes sandwiches, slices cured meats, and simultaneously handles the cash from the till. - The bill is calculated without knowing what he's typing into that calculator. - The receipt, this stranger. - A smile from the black-haired waitress is appreciated. Overall, the place is worth a visit, and the food is truly excellent. I recommend it. But prices should be displayed, and the menu is a must.

20/08/2025: A classic osteria, the kind you pass on the road while driving, and your head tells you the food will be good, and it is. Exceptional and authentic flavors, very friendly and helpful staff, and excellent prices.

28/05/2025: simple but tastefully furnished place I would define as very welcoming, the staff very kind and the visit of the chef to the table for a little greeting was very welcome. very special menu! tonight I enjoyed the pappardelle with calamari and the sea bass baguette and coffee mousse. everything was excellent...I'll be back to try the rest

30/08/2025: We've rarely experienced such poor service. The hairy waitress made no secret of the fact that she didn't really want to serve us. The waitress skillfully and continuously ignored us. She showed no effort in any area. We will definitely not return to this restaurant and cannot recommend it in any way.

25/07/2025: Waanzinnig lekker gegeten! Alles was heerlijk. Het vlees was botermals, alles heerlijk op smaak. De bediening was leuk en vriendelijk. Echt een culinaire topavond hebben we gehad. Je zit wel aan een drukke weg, maar het terras is mooi aangekleed en door groen ben je afgeschermd van het verkeer. Het voelde als een tuin.

08/07/2025: We were on vacation in Siena and stumbled upon this pizzeria, and it was a real treat. Great food and, compared to the prices in Tuscan cities, really affordable. We would come back!

08/08/2025: Locale essenziale e caratteristico senese. Personale accogliente e gentilissimo. Ottima la scelta dei vini. Cucina tipica toscana meglio i primi dei secondi, specialmente i Pici del Permalico. Conto nella media. Da visitare assolutamente.
