20/10/2025: Warm and welcoming atmosphere, impeccable service. Perusing the menu, I decided to skip the appetizer and go straight to the first and second courses. I wanted to forgo dessert, but I couldn't. Everything was delicious, beyond my wildest expectations. Congratulations!!!

19/10/2025: We went to dinner once and loved it so much that we came back the next day. The food was delicious, the prices were good, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. 100% recommended, with lots of vegetarian options.

12/10/2025: Welcoming and well-organized location. On a sunny day like the one we just had, it's a worthwhile place, nestled in a totally relaxing square. The service was helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The food was excellent! We each ordered various dishes, which we then sampled... Really good!!! Portions were decent. The price tends to be high for the simplicity of the dish itself... But it's still worth it. The Florentine steak was wonderful!!! You can't miss it. I recommend it! Excellent place

13/11/2025: It was a strange environment for food, the vegetables were nicely grilled, the liver was salty but good, the arrosticini were okay. The Trippa was very oily.. the Trippa alla Romana is way better without a doubt. They told us that their Trippa had spices inside but we didnt taste nothing, had very ‘average’ taste. They don’t serve wine which is very strange. The funniest thing is that they charge for the tap water 2.50€. Insane!! Do the customers need to pay for tap lukewarm water that has pipe taste?! At least, advise the customers that is tap otherwise you could offer bottled water, right? Some people need to learn customer service… - this comment goes to the owner and not to the lovely girl she served us.

07/11/2025: Small restaurant serving typical local dishes. The owner is very friendly and approachable. Excellent burrata, delicious meatballs, and even the mutton arrosticini, but the pici al cintasenese with wild fennel are out of this world! 5 STARS WELL-DESERVED

11/11/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant because they serve gluten-free food. The dishes were delicious and plentiful. The service was very friendly and attentive to our intolerances. It might seem like a tourist restaurant, but it's truly traditional and frequented by locals. I highly recommend it. Even though I'm not celiac, I ate very well. Well done!

15/11/2025: A stop on a long drive. Easy to get to, parking with a bit of luck, very kind and friendly owners, good, authentic food, and very fast service. I'd happily return, taking a more leisurely approach, if I were to ever find myself in the area again. First course, water, and coffee were €13, so great prices too. Thanks 😊

11/11/2025: After a lovely tour of the Chianti Gallo Nero area, my wife and I returned to Grotta della Rana, and as always, the hospitality and kindness of the owners is unsurpassed, in addition to the excellent food and reasonable prices.

30/09/2025: Restaurant right on the edge of Pienza's historic center, with ample metered parking. It has a spacious indoor dining room and a lovely terrace. The staff is very friendly, and the food is delicious.

01/11/2025: We've now been to this wonderful restaurant twice. The first time was in August and the second time in October. The food was excellent both times. The service is also very friendly, and you can tell that the staff are passionate about their restaurant. If you're ever near Siena, a visit to the Cecchi winery and the Foreateria is highly recommended.
