12/03/2025: Ate here twice in the last few days, and it was amazing. Meals worthy of mentioning were the specials/menu of the day, artichoke risotto, and polenta with wild boar ragu, also on the main menu the rabbit stuffed with artichoke was devine. I hope to make it back here again!

17/02/2025: Il ristorante migliore di Siena. Atmosfera stupenda. Locale curato in ogni minimo dettaglio. Dall’antipasto al dessert abbiamo assaporato i sapori del cuore della Toscana e di Siena. Michele lo Chef oltre a essere bravo e’ una persona splendida che ti fa sentire a casa.

10/02/2025: Ristorante meraviglioso. Penso che sia uno dei migliori di Siena. Sorprende non solo per i suoi piatti preparati con cura, ma anche per l'atmosfera accogliente e familiare.

18/11/2024: Un bellissimo ristorantino all'interno di una casetta su due piani: la bellissima sala con caminetto al piano inferiore, la cucina a quello superiore. Ottimo servizio, disponibilità, gentilezza e splendido umorismo da buon oste toscano. Cibi buona ma potrebbero osare di più, manca un pò di spinta toscana. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono.

16/03/2025: We returned to eat at Osteria del Leone and for us it was confirmed as the best restaurant in the area. We started with appetizers of hand-cut ham and pate with exquisite pa brioche made by them. Then to follow pici with garlic, cacio e pepe and their carbonara which is truly Top! Then among the specials we took the pork chop cooked at low temperature and the truly special mullets stuffed with smoked provola and fried. To close on all the delicious desserts, a special mention for the buffalo ricotta ice cream with sour cherries which was truly incredible. Fast and kind service. Wine list for connoisseurs with a wide selection of labels and prices. We will definitely return on our next visit to Siena. Well done!

04/03/2025: Siamo stati a cena da voi, io e la mia compagna, e siamo rimasti davvero colpiti dalla qualità dei vostri piatti. Ho iniziato con il prosciutto di cinta senese tagliato al coltello: semplicemente delizioso, con un grasso che si scioglieva in bocca. Lei ha scelto il carciofo alla giudia, asciutto e saporito, cucinato alla perfezione. Come primo, ho provato i pici tirati a mano con sugo di lepre: fantastici, con un sapore intenso e ben equilibrato. Lei ha optato per le pappardelle ai funghi porcini, che si sentiva fossero fatte a mano con grande cura. Abbiamo concluso con il loro tiramisù, il finale perfetto per una cena davvero riuscita. Il conto è stato più che giusto per la qualità e la quantità dei piatti. Ci tornerei molto volentieri!

01/03/2025: Muy mal restaurante. El servicio fue horrible. No tomes pasta con trufa porque es la peor que he tenido, y créeme que tuve mucha pasta en Italia. El vino está bien.

28/02/2025: We came here for lunch. We took the ribollita and the stewed wild boar with factorissa potatoes (which we replaced with spinach). The ribollita is very good and tasty and has a creamy and pleasant consistency. The wild boar is also very good, but a little hard and difficult to chew. Too bad, because the flavor was great! Friendly and helpful staff

23/02/2025: Restaurant in the heart of Montepulciano with particular furnishings, it almost seems like being transported to a wonderland. Quality food, excellent wine quality and kind and friendly owner, you won't forget the chat we had together at the end of the evening!

27/01/2025: While making a stop in Montepulsciano, we came across this magnificent place! We approached to see the menu and the owner invited us to visit the place, without commitment to consume. He knew we were going to stay. Anyone who passes by this place and enters does not leave without trying something of what they offer. The dishes are varied and presented with such taste that it is an obligation to take a photo. The waiters, the atmosphere, the taste of the food, absolutely everything is nice. It is not an economical place, but it is worth knowing!!!

13/02/2025: Like eating at home - fabulous tagliatelle and Pici - wild boar, Peposo (I also licked the plate) - steak but what can I tell you? Every time I'm in the area it's a fixed destination and it's impossible to go wrong.

02/03/2025: When booking we advised that we had a baby girl born a few months ago. They reserved a room for our table (10 people) with an air conditioner on for the child's comfort. Excellent service, food and environment.

27/02/2025: The steak was pretty good, but I would not consider it a real Fiorentina. The rest of the food was not very good. The worst part was the service. I did not feel welcome at all. I asked for a wine glass for my wine and after they looked at me weird, they gave me a wine glass that was super dusty. In short, I would not recommend.

25/02/2025: Piccolo locale, 2 sale e pochi tavoli; arredamento spartano. Propone un menù con specialità tipiche della cucina toscana realizzate con materie prime di qualità. Per chi ricerca la qualità senza inutili fronzoli è il posto giusto. Prezzi economici.

09/03/2025: Intimate venue, à la carte menu with average prices, high quality dishes such as the house mixed platter and the Florentine steak! It's a shame we weren't able to taste the first courses that they certainly deserved! Super desserts, kind in offering good vin santo. Culinary experience to repeat!!

03/03/2025: This relaxed trattoria in Siena is a hidden gem! We had an amazing meal, starting with the wagyu tartare, which was rich and flavorful. The venison carpaccio was also fantastic, tender and perfectly seasoned. We enjoyed a variety of cured meats and cheeses, all fresh and delicious. The wine recommendations from the server were spot on, enhancing the whole experience. A wonderful, laid-back spot with top-notch food and drinks — highly recommended for a more casual yet memorable meal!
