05/10/2025: First evening in San Casciano, looking for a typical Tuscan osteria. We relied on online reviews, but, likely due to poor menu choices, we didn't find what we were looking for here. The house appetizers were average, but not typically Tuscan. The Florentine steak was good, but not a real explosion of flavor. The price was high. The potatoes were delicious. The wine list was excellent. Welcoming and courteous service.

21/09/2025: This has been our favorite place since we moved to Florence! Impeccable traditional Tuscan cuisine in a quaint and picturesque location. The service is always very welcoming and attentive, with a family atmosphere. We return whenever we can. Congratulations to Marco, Silvia, and Cecilia for the hospitality and atmosphere they've created! Keep up the good work!!

23/09/2025: We loved our experience so much that we went back a second time. Niccolo's service was excellent; he speaks at least three languages: French, English, and of course, Italian. He knows the menu very well and is always able to advise us on this or that dish. Thank you very much for your welcome and hospitality.

07/10/2025: A typical trattoria in the heart of Florence, just steps from Santa Maria Novella, offering diners all the traditional dishes they deserve. A good option, even for large tables. Extensive wine selection. Friendly staff. Very fast service. The meat dishes are very flavorful. I recommend the meatloaf.

06/10/2025: Andre welcomed us at the restaurants terrace. He was very attentive to our needs. He proposed us a good wine as well, according to what we ordered. The pici were excellent, the sauces too, and the carbonara were absolutely amazing. We had the tiramisu which was among the best we have ever had. We have really rarely found such restaurants that have such a level of quality.

07/10/2025: What a wonderful restaurant, we came here twice a couple of years ago and we returned a couple of days ago. The food was just as good as we remembered it. The consistency of quality is amazing. Please let us visit again when we are next in Firenze, incidentally we had not booked and they managed to squeeze us in. Thank you so much.

11/10/2025: Dinner with my family at Trattoria Alfredo was a delightful and enjoyable experience. The typically Florentine atmosphere creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. In particular, Mr. Giuseppe accompanied us throughout the dinner with his friendliness and his suggestions for choosing from the various dishes, all of which were delicious. We had the beef tagliata with porcini mushrooms, which was a triumph of flavor and deliciousness. Perfectly cooked, and with fresh porcini mushrooms. The tagliolini with fresh truffles filled us with aroma and flavor. The prices are reasonable for the quality, not at all excessive. In short, Trattoria Alfredo can be fully recommended.

16/09/2025: Stunning location, nestled in the Mugello hills with a breathtaking view. I had lunch with an appetizer and main course, and everything I ate was delicious! The dessert (millefoglie with ricotta cream and pears) was truly superb! The girls were so kind, I'll definitely be back!

11/10/2025: Very close to Antinori and in the heart of Garbino, this restaurant was bustling with locals and tourists (like us) which made the atmosphere come alive in such a great way. Food: 5/5. We had Florentine steak which was cooked just right and full of flavour. Also a pasta and a side of potatoes, it was all incredibly delicious. Come dolci, we indulged in their panna cotta options and they nailed it on all aspects. Service: 5/5. Not much to say here other than they did very well and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Our reservation was held and we were served quickly.

08/10/2025: We were there for a retirement, and I have to say the food was truly excellent, and the service was good. The only downside was the noise in the room because there were 20 of us and the room was small.
