This spot is a local GEM! I had the Paccheri Scampi and Crème brûlée with a delicious red wine selected by my server. 10/10 can’t recommend this place more, and the best part is it’s family owned!

Wow! Everything was fantastic from beginning to end. The lasagna as well as the pasta with tomato sauce, garlic and chili were incredible. We also have the Groppa sliced steak was absolutely perfect. Lastly the cheesecake is not to be missed. The owner is super sweet and helpful. Highly recommend!

After meeting 17 years ago at Bucca dell'Orafo, it was almost obligatory to celebrate our anniversary there. We've tried their delicacies several times before and were thrilled: a small but charming place. Unfortunately, it's now under new management, and while the food was good, it's completely lacking in passion, heart, and the connection with guests—understanding their desires or fulfilling them. So, what was supposed to be a homecoming has turned into a normal, even formal, business dinner, and unfortunately not the celebration we'd hoped for. Prices have risen again and are no longer on par. It's also a shame that a glass of aperitif wine costs €10, from the same bottle that sells for €33. It's the little details that make the difference: heart, passion, and attention to detail—what a shame!

Buca Dell’Orafo is a traditional Tuscan restaurant tucked away in a charming alley near the Ponte Vecchio. The setting is full of character, with a warm and romantic atmosphere that makes for a memorable dining experience. The service is impeccable, and the food is outstanding. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality and overall experience make it well worth it. Highly recommended !!!

Look I love Firenze and this was our last night out for dinner which we were prepared to pay and enjoy the cuisine as the reviews were amazing. I’m afraid for me NOT GREAT 😞 Food was amazing in flavour but just warm ! Service lacked personality or even remotely caring we sat outside nearly nonexistent!! Very disappointing maybe got them on an off night.

Spectacular had the best dinner we had at Florence. Incredible staff, including the chefs. They were all very friendly and the food was superb. We celebrated my husband’s birthday and they made such a fun celebration on his behalf. I would love to come back again, but sadly our trip is ending. I highly recommend anyone who is on their way to Florence! Ciao!
